this is a good video and warning to not stock up on lots of permanent vinyl with the expectation it has an indefinite shelf life
I have lots of oracal that’s older vinyl. Guess I’ll stock up on StarCraft from now on.
I use dollar tree vinyl for stencils works great for that.
I love the HTVRont vinyl is the best. I have only used their permanent and I love them.
If you cut dollar tree vinyl as window film, it’s perfect.

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to ask. But have you tried to cut Oracal 351 polyester film (chrome) on cricut maker? I'm having so much trouble cutting it and tried different cut settings, so far I've wasted so much material 😢 Wondering if you can advise which cut setting to use. Tia
I just got a Cricut Maker 3, mug press, and a easy press mini iron for Christmas and have been a little intimidated to use them because I don't know anything about them or even know how to use a laptop at that, but I wanted to learn and this video made me even more intimidated and so confused to use them! There are just so many things to learn about the vinyls then I thought!!! I do have a question, though. I have one of those big teddy bears from Walmart that has the year stitched on it's foot that says 2022 on it and I was going to take the 2022 off the foot and I wanted to put 2023 on it with the vinyl. I want to know what's the best vinyl to use for this? The pad on the foot is not fur it has a material on the pad of it's foot. I make gift baskets, and I don't want to waste my $22, so I want to put the bear in a Valentine's gift basket or a Mother's Day one!
I would use heat transferable vinyl as long as the material won't burn easily I just done my first heat transferable vinyl project tonight watch some videos about using the htv and just make sure you follow the manufacturers instructions hope this helps xxx
Hi, are you talking about vinyls that would be long lasting after wash or they were for easy to cut and weed?
My htv shredded while it was cutting my design. I had it on the lowest Iron on setting on my machine because it kept happening. Any suggestions??
Do y'all use HTV from specialty materials
I really do not like the Oracal vinyl for cards and it weeds hard. I will not purchase them again.
