He was was actually disparaging the police department for what happened to Taylor.
Everything he said is FACTS! he meant every word. 💯

He wasn't slandering Breonna Taylor, he was slandering the police station that murdered her as one last "f you" because he had already resigned and it was his last day on the job anyways.

Never in my life have I seen a situation where a person in a position of power agrees with a community on an issue, gets in front of a camera to admit how bad it is then be labelled an asshole because people got so mad, they missed the message practically granting the people that he's actually mocking a free pass since nobody is paying attention to them. The cops who shot Breonna were not handled this quickly. Shoot a Black woman in her home and paperwork takes weeks to put an officer on leave. Same day service if you talk bad about Louisville metro. Makes sense.

It's a shame that he apologized because everything he said seems to be true. The way that department is ran, it's no wonder that their employees are committing crimes and have lost their pride over having the job. They come in there thinking that they are going to make a difference then find out that it is no better on the force than it is on the streets.

I know this is a bit irrelevant but there are new charges being filed in relation to the Breanna Taylor shooting. This is still evolving as of August 2022 and is not a settled issue.
One of the cops pled guilty *less than 24 hours after being charged!*

One good example is when Cariol Horne, who was a Buffalo police officer that intervened when a male officer was choking a handcuffed suspect. The male officer then punched her in the face, but she was the one fired, and had fought at least a whole decade to get her pension. That happened in 2008. She finally won her pension after George Floyd was murdered by the police. In my opinion that's the reason why she finally won her pension, because she intervened and they compared it to Floyd's death. They felt like the other officers should have intervened.
