Not really, we see this place in one of the comics, theres an entity here called The North Wind which is basically sentient wind.

oh my god I can't wait for this to come out! I lost all hope it'd be happening, but here we are! I rlly missed six's and mono's friendship (though there's a possibility it was one-sided) so let's hope this one stays intact till the end! Also, the DESIGNS??? Why is no one talking about plague mask kid's dread locks and goggle girl's red hair? Not to mention plague kid has a cape which YES. That's so adorable!

Actually, if you look closely, after Mono releases The Thin Man you see Six actually reach out to makesure he is ok. She acts strange throughout the whole game, but as time goes on she warms up to him and that is shown when she checks to makesure he is ok when he released The Thin Man. In the end, its only after he smashes her music box that she stares at him for long periods of time, stops waiting for him and making sure he's still with her. Six is selfish and possibly even a psychopath (judging from the fact she bashed a kids head in, mangled fingers of a mankin, and dropped someone to a monster bcs they broke her toy). But she chose to let him go bcs of what it meant to her, not bcs she hated him
The plague mask of the new character is such a fun design! And the last scene gave me pure chills! Can't wait!

Tarsier Studios was bought by another company, but since they were in the middle of development on Little Nightmares 2 at the time, they finished that one for Bandai Namco before completely moving companies. That's why they couldn't make Little Nightmares 3.
Ok, so, small hunch-theory-thingy real quick: Does the mirror have anything to do with Six?
In the final boss battle of little nightmares 1, Six uses a mirror to defeat this weird woman with magical powers. By the end of the battle, the mirror breaks, but the final boss is stunned for a bit. Six takes this chance to eat part of the woman's neck, killing her and gaining her powers. The powers are basically dark purple wisps flying around that take whatever soul they touch and give it to six, satisfying her hunger. In this trailer, there's a mirror that later breaks and is surrounded by purple smoke in all the scenes it pops up in. Maybe six is the big boss at the end and the mirror has something to do with the boss battle. Six IS shown eating children's souls in little nightmares 2. Maybe she's luring these children in so she can eat their's. I could be COMEPLETELY wrong, but- so far- every little nightmare game has had six in it. Little Nightmares 1- Six is the mc. Very Little Nightmares- Six is the co-mc. Little Nightmares 2- again, Six is the co-mc. Even in the DLC of all things- Six, while not being that big of a character, ends up killing the mc there. She's been in EVERY SINGLE GAME and I have a feeling that she'll be in this one too. But that's just a theory...

I have two ideas, one is that this may have some back story for the lady considering the theme seems to be mirrors for this game. The second is that we may see the north wind in this game, i say this because of the amount if crows we see through out the trailer and i feel like the north wind would just fit with the over all color of the game

This looks incredible! I was so worried that when Bandai Namco got a hold of Little Nightmares they'd either forget about it or make it entirely unrecognizable from the first two games but I'm loving what they've done with everything so far! I know little nightmares has always had a surreal look to it but what with the enemies being way more massive there's an even more surreal like quality to everything. Also loving these two new characters and their designs, the one with the goggles reminds me a lot of the characters from 9. I am curious if Mono and Six will somehow make an appearance or if there will be any references to past games?

I don't know if it's the environments or the co-op aspect but I'm getting serious Journey vibes, looks great!
I just had a theory/idea (spoilers for LN2!!):
Since LN1 had one main character (Six), then LN2 had two main characters (Six and Mono), maybe LN3 gives the same logic with three characters, but in a different way. Maybe in LN3, with these two new protagonists, we get in a glimpse or moment during a further backstory of either Six or Mono. Maybe we meet either one of them in this game and work with them temporarily, thus, "three characters". We contribute to Six or Mono's overall story, as the two new kids are parts of their past.
BASICALLY, my thought was that these two new kids are going on an adventure in LN3, and for a short bit (as an idea of mine) they find Six, in a past moment before she was even trapped in the house that Mono found her in. The two kids help Six a little bit, but in a dangerous situation, the two new kids betray Six (leave her to die, etc.) in order for them to survive, and they/we leave her. From Six being betrayed by these two kids, she suddenly feels hatred for other surviving kids in general. So, that is why Six left Mono in LN2, because maybe she feels Mono will do the same as the kids/already has, and that Six is better alone?
I'm just desperate for some sort of Mono/Six content in LN3 😭

A theory of mine, I hope there’s a dlc that goes on this or sum.
Raincoat Girl (Reina/lady’s daughter) first escapes the Nest and then the story of LN2 goes on where we don’t see what’s going on with her, and then in LN1 she’s seen as flashlight girl by RK and loses it, soon becoming a NOME
In the nome disco room where we can see the shadows of the nomes as kids they used to be, one of the nomes off to the left (if you shine your flashlight at her) has the same shadow/silhouette as Reina! .
I hope we see six get defeated in this

I can't believe it. I have been a HUGE fan of Little Nightmares ever since I was around 6 or 7. So basically 5-6 years. I am probably the biggest Little Nightmares fan out there as of right now.. the game never scared me as a child, I was always interested in it. I even memorized the songs, and I fall asleep to the audios such as Six's Music Box, The Lady Humming, and even the soundtrack. If you were to ask me something about Little Nightmares, I wouldn't hesitate to respond right away. But that's not my point... ever since I found out about this game, I've been SO excited for Little Nightmares 3. And it's finally here! Little Nightmares made part of my childhood, and it still is. Since I found it at a young age, it basically IS my childhood. I'm happy that I found out about the game, because I really love it! When I'm in my 80's (if I make it that long, you never know.) I'll still be thinking about this game, It makes me happy, and it's not scary to me at all! It's comforting, in a way. The characters, the music, the atmosphere, everything is beautiful. I'm never gonna grow out of this game. EVER.

Same here the style, theme, art design, story and soundtrack blend together so well with one another.
Never have I experienced something so captivating yet mysterious at the same time. It's honestly hard to put into words but I'm seriously looking forward to this game and was in disbelief when the trailer dropped.
I thought nothing would brighten this time, but oh my god, this news made my day.

It's mad how many people are angry about Mono still... Like I'm sad about it too but until further law comes to fruition in Little Nightmares 3, all evidence suggests that Six is The Lady, and that she was intending to END the rein of The Thin Man, not continue the loop.
I’m a fan since the release of the first game and this has lighten up my week. I was always curious about how steampunk would work in the world of little nightmares and here it is! Amazing
I was upset that the whole game is going to have this apocalyptic orange sky, but trailer proved me wrong and having one/two locations with this sky would be cool. Praying for Six comeback

The monster baby in the desert is in the concept art of little nightmares 2. They are following the story of the original Devs.

I'm guessing the big bad of the game has something to do with that mirror and neither Six, Mono or the thin man have much to do with that
@@8-bitreaper we're not seeing much connection coz there haven't revealed everything, plus many theorists have already made connections to the first game and comic books, just watch some videos. Plus we don't know yet if the game is a sequel or prequel, six could still be in the game. They're expanding on the LN universe and that's a good thing if you want more LN games. You're complaining simply coz it's no longer made by the same Devs. The new Devs have remained loyal to the vision of the original Devs, graphics and lore wise. Do some research.
