Mono didn't bring the tower, he went to it, I know it looks like he pulled it, the construction of the scene makes it look like that, but when you see that the Thin Man teleports you can understand what he really did, so I noticed, Mono's powers are space-time and also alter reality
I think that's his own power, he was just too frightened of it before to use it against the other monsters. But yeah, that is the most epic scene I've ever seen in a game (imo)
I’ve actually been looking at that scene over and over again daily. I cannot get over that one scene because of how epic and suspenseful it. My first reaction to that made me tense and stand up without me even realizing.
after beating the game and looking back at thin man now i finally see he was never completely after Mono,his objective was to get Six after what she did to him on the past in order to prevent Mono to suffer the same fate....well not totally

7:30 onwards is just perfection. The visuals, the music. Best part of the entire game, just wow. I wasn't a huge fan of the first Little Nightmares but this one was flawless.
Even though I hate the ending with a passion, this might be one of the greatest games, at least in horror. And this is by far the most epic scene that I've experienced in a game, and maybe even more so than movies.

The first time I experienced the Thin man his presence was so intimidating and frightening now that I know who he truly is I don’t feel threatened by him anymore if only Mono knew.. I would never have noticed this playing the first time cause I was scared as shit lol but I realize now that the Thin man was really just trying to lure Mono away from the Signal Tower ( away from Six ) even in the final stance between the two the Thin man stands right in the pathway to the Tower trying to block off Mono. When he took that mask off he didn't give up, he chose to fight. For the first time in his life, he was fed up with everything. Always having to run away, always hiding and always being hunted by everytime. This is the scene where Mono finally decides to stop hiding.
I'm just picturing a viewer getting distracted from the signal and just sitting down and making a house of cards...and then progressively getting more enraged and scream-shouting out at the street, completely ignoring the fact that a tiny boy and a tall man are twisting time and space around them.
the Thin man is fighting his past self, the more he tries to fight back, the more pain he receives, his little nightmare was his childhood, a nightmare that's ... inevitable.
for ppl who don't realize why Mono defeated Thin man is not because thin man let him, it's because Mono's willpower is way stronger than Thin man which is the will to save someone while thin man was trying to save himself from the terrible endless fate
Oh I can totally elaborate. Its all in cinematography, layout, lighting, atmosphere, effects, and ESPECIALLY the music. I think the music in a scene like this either makes it or breaks it. It can heighten the stakes and give the viewer/player the anticipation and sense of “Oh this is extremely important, this is the climax.” That also plays into atmosphere. Setting this fight up anywhere other than a rainy cold and empty street wouldn’t have had the same affect anywhere else. You’re seeing the entire city you’ve been traversing through the entire story in “full” view. from my experience, these games are all about world building and energy of a space. Seeing what theThin Man was capable of before a boss fight with less going on is also important as well. if we didn’t see what the thin man was able to do through teleportation, how quickly he can move, how he could rip the soul away from a child, and his hostile and intimidating appearance this Boss fight would’ve felt anti-climatic. Mostly the atmosphere, the sudden strength of a seemingly weaker character you’d grown to love fighting against a seemingly impossible opponent (and hope for them to succeed), the MUSIC, and the cinematics of the scene. It may not of been hard, but neither was the Boss fight in breath of the wild. That game uses the same tactics used here.

It's possible he was keeping an eye on Mono- making sure he stays away from Six, who was still trapped in the TV at the time. He may have been thinking "If I can keep him away from her, the cycle will end." That's just a theory though haha

When mono fell on his knees I was truly terified. Thinking that this is the end, I am fucked. But turned out no. But then everything turned out to be worse that could've been if the game actually ended on this fight
Thin Man seemed like a REALLY bad ass character! It's a shame we didn't get to see much of him throughout this game, cause all of his chase scenes were incredible! I just wish they did more with him. Still though, this game was outright amazing! Improved so much over the original game in nearly every way!

I think this whole chasing thing is a metaphorical representation of how us adults in real life wish to go back in time to correct the mistakes we did as kids/ teenagers. Because at the time we were clueless of the consequences of our actions... however it remains impossible to change fate. Also, the power to control time nd space is a metaphor of a mental state. Overthinking and regretting things about the past makes your mind stuck in the past so you lose your sense of present self .. and that's why the thin man end up completely destroyed. It's all already set, already happened and fate is already decided.
For some reason, I don’t think this world is a nightmare after all. The reason why I think this is that this could be how a child interprets the world. We know kids don’t know much, so they fill in blanks with their imaginations. The monsters sizes could represent him thinking how much power they have over him. Mono probably felt the thin man had lots of power of him, so he was really tall. And maybe, he could have just been an ordinary man trying to save a child. As seen the thin man was trying to stop mono’s fate. I am still coming up with some ideas about the thin man vs mono battle. I think that in the real world, as the adult sees mono as a regular child. Walking to him saying “Are you okay?” Or “Are you hurt” and a child could interpret this as the adult trying to kill/capture him. Also, when we see mono and thin man fighting, thin mans hand is a 🖐 which in the adult world, could have meant “Stop! I’m not trying to hurt you!” 2nd part: Teacher. Mono could have interpreted the teacher as a monster, as in the adult world, the teacher could have been an ordinary teacher, and was trying to teach mono an ordinary lesson. Her long neck could have interpreted her arms, which meant that she had no long neck after all. For the school children, they could have been just bullies. But a lot of them. Mono interpreted them as monsters too, he felt like they had little power over the teacher, that’s why they were the same size. 3rd part: Hunter As we see the Hunter has a gun, which mono could have interpreted as a monster. That’s why he’s big too, because he had such little power of them. As we can see scattered around the hunters house, they are bottles. Which meant he was drinking. Mono and six sneak into the hunters cabin, and when the hunter sees them. You can hear noises every time he shoots, one of them is “Come here, little brat!” Which I think is correct. And if this is the case, he was probably drinking a lot the Hunter interpreted mono and six as mono as trespassers, but he was not simply stopping them. He was drinking a lot. So that’s why he tried to kill instead of teach them a lesson. ALSO, he misses the first shot when he realizes you probably because it’s either he can only see with on eye, or he was having illusions that they were trapped behind the gate and could not get out. 4th part: The doctor. Mono interpreted the doctor as someone trying to kill their own patients . As seen too a child. It would look like they are killing them because that’s not an everyday life for a child. And kids would think surgery’s are horrific. In real life, it’s actually saving lives. The reason why the doctor was on the ceiling was because he was probably tall, so mono interpreted him tall enough his head goes to the roof. The patients on the other hand, when you shine light at them, they’re not really stopping. As mono interprets the patients as mannequins. They really are normal humans. When mono shines his light on them they would probably be blinded because it’s bright, so they cover their eyes. But from the eyes of mono, they’re actually pausing. Thanks for reading this! It wasn't really a cliffhanger. There's a great possibility that we won't get any Mono or Thin man in the future games (if there are any). But yeah, I really hope we get more little nightmares. I'm addicted to this franchise.

Something I noticed is the buildings all bend towards Mono/the Thin man but when the two are using their powers it causes a feedback loop of sorts and the amount of signal power causes the buildings to be pushed away or when they falter before building up for another attack there is a few seconds where they aren't giving out any power from the signal so the buildings stand up straight
Thin man wasn't evil for me.. he just tired suffering in his fate that it keeps repeating and again and again .. Well since Six world is some sort of early 20th century era world of creepy retro futuristic. Most of the architecture even the inhabitants of the city are also in their early and mid 20th century style

When the 'Thin man' snatches Six away, what happens to her is he takes her mindless shell of a body away while here soul (the shadow) remains to wander, watching what her body does. In little nightmares too, every time something eerie happens, the shadow of the real Six is standing over the shell, watching as it becomes even more powerful, aggressive and overall evil. All she can do is watch. Six never truly escaped. Her empty, soulless body did. And all she can do is watch as it does as it pleases. This is even shown in the secret ending where you see the body of Six escape, and the shadow of Six looks to a poster of the Maw. That's where the body goes next, and all she can do is get dragged along and watch it do whatever it wants.
its seems like children taken by either the thin man or the signal tower leave behind a shadow that looks a little like tv static. you have to collect them for the extended ending.

maybe he won't want to kill her. edit: Maybe, as much ThinMan/Mono is mad at Six for her betrayal, he can't bring himself to kill her due to their past friendship. Plus, I don't think ThinMan is the one who turns Six in her monstrous form, and here why: when Mono tried to pull her out of the TV, she was fine, scared, but fine. I think it is the Eyes Monster Maybe who did. But When ThinMan dies, he was not there anymore to prevent the Eyes Monster from doing whatever it wants with Six. The more Mono hit the music box, the more the Eyes Monster become visible, and has soon Six his back to normal, the Eyes Monster tried to catch them. And if it's was Thin Man who did it, Mono should have been able to reverse, since they share the sames powers. I think ThinMan simply wanted to separate Mono and Six and nothing more.

Even though I hate the ending with a passion, this might be one of the greatest games, at least in horror.
And this is by far the most epic scene that I've experienced in a game, and maybe even more so than movies.

You have to admit, that ending was masterfully done. With Mono growing up right in front of us, and end of the hall playing, it was sad, but it was the best ending to any form of media I've ever seen.

The first time I experienced the Thin man his presence was so intimidating and frightening now that I know who he truly is I don’t feel threatened by him anymore if only Mono knew.. I would never have noticed this playing the first time cause I was scared as shit lol but I realize now that the Thin man was really just trying to lure Mono away from the Signal Tower ( away from Six ) even in the final stance between the two the Thin man stands right in the pathway to the Tower trying to block off Mono. Thin man really tried to save Mono it’s so tragic that this is how it had to be

Its all in cinematography, layout, lighting, atmosphere, effects, and ESPECIALLY the music.
I think the music in a scene like this either makes it or breaks it. It can heighten the stakes and give the viewer/player the anticipation and sense of “Oh this is extremely important, this is the climax.”
That also plays into atmosphere.
Setting this fight up anywhere other than a rainy cold and empty street wouldn’t have had the same affect anywhere else. You’re seeing the entire city you’ve been traversing through the entire story in “full” view. from my experience, these games are all about world building and energy of a space.
Seeing what theThin Man was capable of before a boss fight with less going on is also important as well. if we didn’t see what the thin man was able to do through teleportation, how quickly he can move, how he could rip the soul away from a child, and his hostile and intimidating appearance this Boss fight would’ve felt anti-climatic.
Mostly the atmosphere, the sudden strength of a seemingly weaker character you’d grown to love fighting against a seemingly impossible opponent (and hope for them to succeed), the MUSIC, and the cinematics of the scene.
It may not of been hard, but neither was the Boss fight in breath of the wild. That game uses the same tactics used here.

The more interesting is at the end when mono tries to kill the thin man. The thin man doesn't attack him, rather give a hand sign to stop.

Now, it's not scary anymore, it's just sad. By the end I'm like "No No No Mono don't do it". But no matter what, everything happens all the same. The cycle never ends.
The thing that makes Six’s betrayal sting the most is the reason the The thin man couldn’t beat Mono is because mono’s will to save Six was stronger than the Thin man’s will to save his younger self...

I think this whole chasing thing is a metaphorical representation of how us adults in real life wish to go back in time to correct the mistakes we did as kids/ teenagers. Because at the time we were clueless of the consequences of our actions... however it remains impossible to change fate. Also, the power to control time nd space is a metaphor of a mental state. Overthinking and regretting things about the past makes your mind stuck in the past so you lose your sense of present self .. and that's why the thin man end up completely destroyed. It's all already set, already happened and fate is already decided.

I've seen the fight so many goddamn times, and yet it never fails to put a chill running through my spine everytime, it's so impressive.
For some reason I could imagine the thin man going like...
"Hello my baby! Hello my honey!"
For some reason, I don’t think this world is a nightmare after all.
The reason why I think this is that this could be how a child interprets the world. We know kids don’t know much, so they fill in blanks with their imaginations. The monsters sizes could represent him thinking how much power they have over him.
Mono probably felt the thin man had lots of power of him, so he was really tall. And maybe, he could have just been an ordinary man trying to save a child. As seen the thin man was trying to stop mono’s fate. I am still coming up with some ideas about the thin man vs mono battle. I think that in the real world, as the adult sees mono as a regular child. Walking to him saying “Are you okay?” Or “Are you hurt” and a child could interpret this as the adult trying to kill/capture him. Also, when we see mono and thin man fighting, thin mans hand is a 🖐 which in the adult world, could have meant “Stop! I’m not trying to hurt you!”
2nd part: Teacher.
Mono could have interpreted the teacher as a monster, as in the adult world, the teacher could have been an ordinary teacher, and was trying to teach mono an ordinary lesson. Her long neck could have interpreted her arms, which meant that she had no long neck after all. For the school children, they could have been just bullies. But a lot of them. Mono interpreted them as monsters too, he felt like they had little power over the teacher, that’s why they were the same size.
3rd part: Hunter
As we see the Hunter has a gun, which mono could have interpreted as a monster. That’s why he’s big too, because he had such little power of them. As we can see scattered around the hunters house, they are bottles. Which meant he was drinking. Mono and six sneak into the hunters cabin, and when the hunter sees them. You can hear noises every time he shoots, one of them is “Come here, little brat!” Which I think is correct. And if this is the case, he was probably drinking a lot the Hunter interpreted mono and six as mono as trespassers, but he was not simply stopping them. He was drinking a lot. So that’s why he tried to kill instead of teach them a lesson. ALSO, he misses the first shot when he realizes you probably because it’s either he can only see with on eye, or he was having illusions that they were trapped behind the gate and could not get out.
4th part: The doctor.
Mono interpreted the doctor as someone trying to kill their own patients . As seen too a child. It would look like they are killing them because that’s not an everyday life for a child. And kids would think surgery’s are horrific. In real life, it’s actually saving lives. The reason why the doctor was on the ceiling was because he was probably tall, so mono interpreted him tall enough his head goes to the roof. The patients on the other hand, when you shine light at them, they’re not really stopping. As mono interprets the patients as mannequins. They really are normal humans. When mono shines his light on them they would probably be blinded because it’s bright, so they cover their eyes. But from the eyes of mono, they’re actually pausing.

Something I noticed is the buildings all bend towards Mono/the Thin man but when the two are using their powers it causes a feedback loop of sorts and the amount of signal power causes the buildings to be pushed away or when they falter before building up for another attack there is a few seconds where they aren't giving out any power from the signal so the buildings stand up straight
Thin man wasn't evil for me.. he just tired suffering in his fate that it keeps repeating and again and again ..
I know not only him wanna fix his past or anything else..
there's some people who want to go back in time to fix their every mistakes they have done..

TV Remotes were first invented in 1950, and the fact that all of the televisions in both LN1 and LN2 are black and white could mean that the world “ended” somewhere between 1950-59. ITS like an form of her but unstable from the tv
When the 'Thin man' snatches Six away, what happens to her is he takes her mindless shell of a body away while here soul (the shadow) remains to wander, watching what her body does. In little nightmares too, every time something eerie happens, the shadow of the real Six is standing over the shell, watching as it becomes even more powerful, aggressive and overall evil. All she can do is watch. Six never truly escaped. Her empty, soulless body did. And all she can do is watch as it does as it pleases. This is even shown in the secret ending where you see the body of Six escape, and the shadow of Six looks to a poster of the Maw. That's where the body goes next, and all she can do is get dragged along and watch it do whatever it wants.

edit: Maybe, as much ThinMan/Mono is mad at Six for her betrayal, he can't bring himself to kill her due to their past friendship.
Plus, I don't think ThinMan is the one who turns Six in her monstrous form, and here why: when Mono tried to pull her out of the TV, she was fine, scared, but fine. I think it is the Eyes Monster Maybe who did. But When ThinMan dies, he was not there anymore to prevent the Eyes Monster from doing whatever it wants with Six. The more Mono hit the music box, the more the Eyes Monster become visible, and has soon Six his back to normal, the Eyes Monster tried to catch them. And if it's was Thin Man who did it, Mono should have been able to reverse, since they share the sames powers.
I think ThinMan simply wanted to separate Mono and Six and nothing more.
