Xiumin (Minseok) really does have the most beautiful eyes! It's how he became my bias! His eyes captured my soul and refused to give it back! He is the master of giving lingering glances and smouldering at the camera on their live performances and in their concerts! He is also one of EXO's body roll kings! In "Call Me Baby" you will see there are only 10 members.This was the first MV after 2 of their Chinese members left (Kris and Luhan) and this was the last MV were we see Tao, the third Chinese member that left the group. Tao (orange shoes) left the group shortly after this. i'm not sure if this is the second most watched EXO MV, but it is one of their most popular among average Kpop fans.
In the beginning when they had 12 members they produced all their songs in both Korean and Mandarin and they learned all the lyrics in both Korean and Mandarin. But after the Chinese members left, they no longer had enough EXO-M members to promote on their own so they officially combined the groups into one with 9 members. Now that they no longer promote as the two separate groups, they now only produce their main tracks in both Korean and Mandarin and EVERY MV will have a Korean version and a Mandarin version, which will be shot as two individual MVs. lay is the only Chinese member left, but all the members learn the lyrics in Mandarin for their Mandarin versions of their songs and they all work really hard to make sure their pronunciation is perfect in any language they perform in.
You should also check out the EXO-M Mandarin Chinese version of "Call Me Baby." If you watch the two MVs side by side, you will see that the members that are featured in each part are different and even in the dances where you think "it's the same" there are different members doing different parts. Their MVs may be similar, but that's only because they filmed the MV twice and deliberately made the scenes look the same. Also if you really pay attention, the scenes may look the same, but the members who sing the parts are different depending on the version that you watch. In the Mandarin version you will see the EXO-M members featured more (Lay, Xiumin, Chen and Tao) and they sing the main parts, and in the Korean version the EXO-K members (D.O., Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Sehun, Suho and Kai) sing those same parts. The scenes may look the same, but the singers are different. In the Mandarin version a lot of the main parts where sung by Lay but in the Korean version D.O sings those parts and in the Mandarin version the rap was done by Tao and Xiumin, where in the Korean version its Chanyeol and Sehun, etc.

I can't say that I'm an EXO-L (I know all members but I only listen to their title tracks) and I'm more of an army and stay, but I've got to say that their music are overall my fav (once you listen to it, u can't stop listening) and their vocals are one of the best, if not, the BEST

Fact: it was indeed originally call me daddy, you can find the original demo on youtube and the lyrics are ~pretty~ oompfh, and sm decided to keep it pg 13 and changed bunch of stuffs. But the final product is sooo much better than the demo, it's more polished and the added synths really amped up the song. And the vocals too! Exo's harmonisation is really out of the world!

This comeback blew up because this was the first comeback after the departure of their 2 Chinese members (Luhan & Kris) plus Call Me Baby changed the whole direction of this group from dramatic classic kpop to more western-ish vibe.

Best exo era for me for sure. This album is my favorite exo album (the last totally exo-ish album back then when the majority of their songs had r&b influence). You should also watch the Pathcode teasers for this comeback. Probably the best teasers for any kpop release ever, the fandom went crazy back then. I want this type of comeback back for exo, but probably never gonna happen again.. the feels..
