EXO's concept is by fa the most unique and interesting concept in kpop . The more you get into their concept , the more you'll feel getting sucked in to their world . Each of their MVs tells a very important story that is related to their concept and almost all of the MVs are connected to eachother . Its kind of like a puzzle that we need to solve in order to know what actually happened to exo . I can't explain much to you but here's my attempt of explaining bits and pieces :
So originally Exo are from another planet called EXO planet (which actually does exist) and each of the members have their own supernatural powers .
Xiumin: Frost
Suho: water
Lay: Healing
Baekhyun: Light
Chenyeol: Fire
Chen: Thunder
D.O: strength
Kai: teleportation
Sehun: Wind
But coming to the earth , they're powers have weakened . But many of their MVs show them using their powers . However , they are constantly being chased by their enemy "the red force" who is trying to take control over them and taking their powers for his own use . There are many theories regarding this situation , specially the theories of tempo and love shot are very interesting . Like I said , i can't explain very well but here's a video you can watch regarding the theory behind love shot

Personally I don't mind it because he actually gives good comments and reasons to why he paused at a certain point... A lot of times /in my opinion) people pause just to pause or to say ''omg this/that is awesome.. amazing etcetc'' .. ofc it is/might be.. but I love the fact that for the majority of the time when he pauses he explains it and/or pays attention to certain things in MVs be it for the music, vocals, visual effects or anything else most people miss.. its probably one of the reasons his reactions became one of those that I really look forward to seeing/hearing :))

Xiumin does indeed have the prettiest and best eyes in the group. MANY people (even his own members) have said that Xiumin has gorgeous/captivating eyes. They’ve been described as very cat-like (I believe on a reality show once a host said he couldn’t look Xiumin in the eyes because they were so strange and found them really unsettling at how cat like they were) which is what is so unique and pretty about them. When I showed my Kpop friend EXO for the first time, one the very first things she commented on were his cat eyes. It’s because of his overall eye shape and the fact his pupils are slightly longer than everyone else’s in the group (which is kinda hard to see at first cause his eye color is near black like most Koreans but people don’t realize it’s part of what gives his eyes cat qualities)
The liquid is alcohol, like the idea of taking a shot as in a drink.

I agree with you about Xiumin’s eyes! I am convinced they put a lot of makeup on him to tone down his looks because he is so dang good looking without it, and he isn’t even my Bias. If you haven’t seen them yet I would recommend Suho and Kai’s solo stages from Exploration, in my opinion the sixth day in Seoul 7/28/19 was the best for both of them and they are fairly short so you could do them both in one video. Other random info: 3 of the members are actually actors as well, Eunwoo, Moonbin, and Sanha. Eunwoo has currently played 2 lead roles in some popular dramas and Moonbin is finishing up his first drama where he's a supporting character I believe (but his face has been on a lot of promotional stuff lol). Whenever Eunwoo gets invited to shows to talk about his dramas he always makes sure to talk about ASTRO and how much he loves his group. Sanha just recently got his first lead role in a web drama that he is gonna start filming for soon. Arohas are NOT ready for our baby to grow up ;^;
Moonbin, Rocky, and JinJin are the dance line and all have had very interesting dancing backgrounds. JinJin attended NY dance academy in Illsan, Moonbin became a trainee at 11 years old and was known as being a look-a-like of an older, famous idol, and Rocky also became a trainee when he was 11 and at 14 he was making his own choreography. Rocky was also on the 1theK series Dance War where he placed 2nd and Hit The Stage where he did a mini dance battle with nct/wayv's ten and performed for 1 round. Rocky is also consistently being praised as the perfect idol dancer. Fun fact, he's also a 4th rank black belt in taekwondo.
Sanha plays the guitar and was one of the first idols to debut with braces. MJ is an amazing vocalist who can EFFORTLESSLY hit high notes (for proof, watch their Innocent Love live performance ua-cam.com/video/1Cqreo04Ng0/v-deo.html )
If you're ever curious as to what they were like before debut and all the struggles they had to go through to be in the final line up, there's a great video about them by igotarmyofarohas ( ua-cam.com/video/kYaE_oAafEk/v-deo.html ). They also had a very successful Japanese debut in 2019 but I think the mv is blocked in America :( sad. Also the two members, JinJin and Rocky, are credited as lyricist on 41/46 songs and they have their own solo songs too, JinJin's is called Mad Max and Rocky's is Have A Nice Day, they're both heavy hip-hop influenced songs that JinJin and Rocky wrote/composed themselves.

Promise is a very special song for us exols because it was a gift from EXO to Exols as an apology . In 2014 , when the three former members (kris , luhan and tao) left the band , EXO had to go through many hardships . It was a very emotional year for both EXO and Exols , fans were leaving exo and it felt like everything was breaking apart . So in 2015 EXO released this song telling exols how sorry they are for breaking their promise of always staying together as 12 members and also thanking the exols who stayed with them through all these hardships . This song was composed by Lay , chanyeol and chen and every member took part in writing its lyrics . It holds a very special place in our hearts and i think you'll like it too . And maybe it'll help you get closer to EXO as well 💖
