I landed here by searching how to cook a cut of thin beef/steak in the crock….I absolutely liked and subscribed. I love the fact that your family is family-ing in the background to be honest! You were not distracted and neither was I as a viewer, but it shows reality and life doesn’t stop! My beef is not the same, however, I am definitely using your recommendations; you’ve gained a new follower and I am on track for a healthier lifestyle both mentally, physically and of course emotionally! You’re the perfect role model for such vibes! Thanks for being YOU! Good vibes!
100% I have 2 boys and they love life.......so need to have a perfect "filming studio" film it how my life really is you are very welcome and hope you are enjoying the videos
Thanks for the recipe, it's Sunday and I have the day off, but my wife is working so I told her I was going to make her dinner, but didn't tell her what. I planned on making a chili with steaks but I forgot to soak the dry beans overnight. Now rather than use canned beans which we have on stock: but prefer not to eat unless it's an emergency; I will just follow this simple recipe because I have all the ingredients at hand and it looks very simple. Your instructions make it very clear and easy.
It was a great meal and she loved it. My kids are away at college so being it was just the 2 of us, I made a little adjustments. I only used about a pound or so of steaks, plus I chopped up some onions and garlic and through them in also. Everything else I followed exactly. Only problem is that she was so surprised that I can cook so well, I'm afraid that I may have set a bad precedent, and she'll expect me to be doing it again. Lol
I'm kinda laughing to myself right now because I just dropped some beef strips in the crockpot. Seasoned them with salt, pepper, smoked Paprika, garlic powder and onion powder, then added a packet of Lipton's beefy onion soup. Then I put in the beef broth. I have no veggies added because I plan to make mashed potatoes later. But your recipe was very similar to what I did with the meat. I hopped on here to figure out how to make a rich and thick gravy for it though. I'm craving comfort food and beef, gravy over some creamy mashed potatoes sounds so good right now.
@@CrisEdmondsTV have you ever tried that with this recipe? I never used a crockpot before. If I try this, will I have to wake up in the middle of the night to add more water?
@@CrisEdmondsTV Awesome! I’m gonna try this, your recipe, on LOW, and leave it on low for 8hrs while I sleep. Then put it in a thermos to take to work!
Did I miss whatever temperature to set it at for the 3 hours? It sounds like he said, ".... 3 hours at hot." I presume that means "high" instead of low, but what exactly did he mean there?
Looks good. I would suggest saving the celery (and mushrooms) until the last 1/2 hour of cooking time. Celery started that early in the process becomes slimy mush.

If I want to prep this at night time and have it ready by the morning when I wake up. Can I set it to low for eight hours?
100% what I would do

That looked delicious , personally would have taken everything out at the end of cooking, adding a slurry so I'd have gravy
another great option there

He said high hes just a lil southern haha so it came out like hot

Hi. Did you put crockpot on low or high for the 3 hours!
Trying this with rib eye steak 🤔

Why not use chuck roast if you're gonna cook it to smithereens.
