Subbed. I rode a 2006 with the Cogent suspension and head to toe Acerbis plastics and tank. She sits solid at 90mph on the interstate and eats the Ozark mountains fire roads for breakfast.
I did the PAR valve delete on my 2024 DR650. The bike runs a lot better and I don't have the popping noise on deceleration. I also installed the Seat Concepts seat and 5.3 gallon tank.
Great looking DR. My new-to-me DR came with the Acerbic 25l tank, it's a monster, kinda ugly, growing on me slightly???? but the 20l looks WAY better. Also, that Yoshi pipe sounds really nice!
I bought a 2024 and have no engine mods yet, but i have the Seat Concepts and feel about the same. I owned a Seargents seat for a VFR 800 and felt the same about it too! It cost more than what your getting for sure. I think this is a bike i'm going to keep and mod over time. Ride safe.
Hello! I have the same tank, and when I turn the steering wheel completely, the turn signals touch the tank! Don't you have this problem? And what kind of exhaust do you have? Seems very quiet, I like it!
Thank you for the comment. The signals do touch a bit but not enough that it's an issue for me. I have a Yoshi exhaust. It's not the loudest thing out there but it's kinda annoying without earplugs.
My bike came with the Sargent seat and I wish it came with the seat concepts. The Sargent seat is wide around the thigh area and it makes it uncomfortable standing up.
Great looking DR. It should be ridden often.
It will be as soon as I mount the new tires up this week!

How did you resolve the clutch cable issue?

I want a VFR very badly
@@tsdmoto It is a bike i wish i would have kept for sure. I have had several bikes and miss it most. Very reliable and that sound!
My seat concepts I had was completely underwhelming for how much it was
Where can I get the handlebar risers?

Sorry to hear you're not happy with the sergeant , maybe find someone that wants to trade seats?
Same feeling on the Seat concepts seat.. Like yeah its a little better but yeah not what expected. I just did the cogent suspension on mine I love it.
I just upgraded the tires and I'm now noticing the impact of the spongy factory suspension when riding on the street. :(
