I have the 2014 and really this vehicle."Happy, fun, and exciting" about sums it up. I needed a 'utility' vehicle for cargo and heavy weather, but wanted something "sporty" and "civilized" for passengers. My husband is a German car snob and confessed he is rather impressed with this model - over the others I have owned. Switched it up from the white, black and green on my previous RR's and went with the Nara Bronze with Cream interior this go round - which I like for its understated appearance and get many compliments.
I'm hopefully getting a Jaguar F-Type R or something along that, can you tell me some nice 400+ horsepower cars/suvs like your new range rover with nice interiors and features? Maybe like the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, or Lexus LX570? And congrats on the new car, i am SUPER jealous of this car, just wanted with V8 instead for some nice kick in the pedal haha :) Awesome video as always buddy! :)
Had my Australian HSE for a year and just love it. Agree about the infotainment system - BMW does that stuff way better. We have the 3litre twin turbo diesel which matches your SC for acceleration but has 600nm of torque and manages 38mpg. You have the centre console fridge and heated/cool seats. I have the TFT screen and the Meridian sound system. Terrific car that has already proven to be great on and off road. Nice review, I'll look out for more from you.
This car is far way better than the majority of the sun's out here my aunt had one with the v8 it was a rental while her jag xj was getting repaired she was sideswiped but also if this had the red leather option the interior would look great becuase my aunt's rental had that red beautiful leather also how good do thoose seats feel to you they hold me tight and their is a lot of wiggle room also!!
RCGCarReviews and I love the black panorama roof TOO!! That would have also sucked my in to buying it to but when I saw this car I thought the FUSION is gone!!
hey rcgcar reviews, for having all these nice cars and stuff,,what does ur parents do for a living,,don't have to say where, but what do they do,profession of work,,great vids though, first one I saw was a 2011silver kia sedona
the volume is too low..or is it me ..umm. do some night videos of inside and out..also i think that light in front either high beam or cornering light..
On your mention of returning the naturally aspirating V8 with 375 HP, for MY16, Land Rover is introducing the Range Rover Sport HST, that incorporates the Stealth Package, unique interior and exterior design that differs from the normal Range Rover Sport, and has a Supercharged V6 at 380 HP.
PW Rodgers...... I watched the part again, where he points to the headlight. He pointed to the narrow band of DRLs surrounding the reflector which I took to be the high beam LED. Then, pointing to the high beam reflector/housing, he asked his question as to what it was for. My 2013, T-31 Nissan X-Trail has a similar set up, and would therefore assume it to be the case for the Land Rover as well. I can't be sure, but perhaps US road rules prohibit the use of these separate housings for high beam, and the projector lamps take care of both. I can quite openly state that DRLs would have to be one of the greatest contributions to road safety since the introduction of seat belts and air bags. Daytime running lights are not new however, or rather, as prior to that, the first introduction to DRLs, actually hails back to around 1973/74, when Volvo introduced them as an added safety feature. They were the car's parking lights, hard wired into the ignition. Nowadays they've become standard equipment on all new cars. With the introduction of LEDs, there is negligible power drain, and now feature on just about every make and model of new vehicles. DRLs are also available as an after market add on accessory to older vehicles as well...
@@davidhamilton506 not to be funny or nothing, but you wrote a whole essay just to correct him about the high beam! Please learn how to be more succinct. I normally don’t read long drawn out comments on here but yours just had me intrigued.
@@marrbaby1 Hi Lamarr, yeah you're right, as back then I was kinda long winded about explaining, and have since learned to keep it short, or well, shorter. Thanks anyhow for your feedback, appreciate it, cheers...
To anyone who has owned the Range Rover Sport: Is it a reliable car? I have heard that there are problems, but I do not know how serious they can be. Are the problems serious, and frequent or are they minor and not often? The car is one of my next options. Thanks
It's been perfectly reliable for us. No mechanical issues whatsoever, but we do have some complaints with the lagginess of the technology (infotainment system, throttle/brake tuning, etc...) We really enjoy the car, but wouldn't buy another one once this one is gone.
Hello RCGCarReviews, The Range Rover Sport and Porsche Cayenne seem to be the best sporty suvs on the market right now. Since you said you wouldn't buy another one is there something better on the market?. Or are you just interested in trying out something different in the future?. Would love to hear your thoughts!.
Hello, I feel a little vibration on staring and scrter when I drive it but you cannot feel that if you don't touch the staring and scerter.. is this ok? Thanks in advance
Hows the car been holding up? Thinking about getting a CPO 2015/2016. I've heard they can be costly to maintain, how reliable are they? Im assuming you guys leased it.
Overall the car held up very well! We had it for a little over 2 years, and the only real fault we had was the blind spot monitoring computer module shorted out, which was replaced under warranty. They are pretty costly to maintain, though, so be watchful for that.
I want this car, but I live in Dallas and there is a limited amount of luxury car dealerships because it's texas. Therefore they try to rip you off with the price because there is not much competition. Going to get my car in NJ/NYC area where there is well over 20 Range Rover dealerships
Thanks for the response Sadie Lynne Depta i am trying to wait for the price to lower to buy the 2014 HSE since they are pushing the 2016. And it has gone down indeed. I will wait till the end pf the year.
I bought this exact model. I had it for 2 months and got rid of it. I traded it for a V8 Supercharged Dynamic. That V6 Supercharged has an exhaust note that is SO weak that I just couldn't drive it anymore. I paid almost $9,000 more for the V8 and it was worth every cent. I'm going to trade my V8 Dynamic for an SVR next year hopefully.
+William Taylor Depending how much you trade in/put down…and what model you choose. I would say roughly 800 dollars a mo on average between the 3 top models; leasing costs less than purchase unless you do a 6 yr loan.
We actually traded it in at the end of October of 2017. The only issue we had out of it was that the computer module for the blind spot monitoring shorted out, but that was replaced under warranty. Maintenance costs are pretty astronomical, though.
PW Rogers Every new car today has DRLs. Fact. The Range Rover's DRLs are clearly visible as a "necklace" of LEDs around the high beam reflector, and an extra strip of LEDs that curve up to the hood. Are you blind?...
