#Zelda #TearsOfTheKingdom #Fi
Of all character in Zelda series, Fi is the only one who witnessed the endless cycle of Demise, Zelda and Link in every past, present and future
Never really liked or disliked the character throughout my first playthrough. But after the ending hearing Fi's Farewell nearly everytime makes me tear up. The mere soundeffect of the Master Sword beeping up now let's me get instant goosembumps. Glad I collected the tears in a good order. Feel bad for all the poor players who spoiled themselves by accidentaly finding a late memory early in the game. Hope Nintendo does a better job regarding this next time.
That and beedle
not every zelda game has the master sword so she won't have seen some cycles
She said she would be with link to the end of time
As somebody who actually really enjoys Skyward Sword, hearing Fi's Theme had me popping off, and I'm really glad so many other people recognized it as well.
This game is a masterpiece.
got me tearing up
Yeah. I recently played through Skyward Sword HD, and even though motion controls look better on the Wii, the game is phenomenal, and has become one of my favorite Zelda games, heck games of all time.
I wonder if Fi has been conscious and aware of every Link throughout the series? That's kinda sad if true.
she's very much aware
@pinecone Yeah, that's pretty sad because she has to see every link eventually die over and over for thousands of years. At the end of Skyward Sword she had become a lot more expressive and human so I wonder if being in the Master Sword has stunted that or if she's like a extremely old and wise sage and i wonder if Fi ever was forced to leave would she have a tattered version of her Skyward Sword design with longer unkempt hair and damage to her dress/ body as the master Sword is in a horrible condition even when restored it seems like it's still a shadow of it's former glory.
She says she'll watch over him forever
I think at this point she knows he'll always come back. That's my headcannon anyway.
Oh she is aware.
She even speaks to him and Zelda.
Its not just the theme. the sound effect is the same from Skyward sword
It's her iconic jingle used to denote her being aware of things happening around her. The fact it sounded twice at the end of the game hints at the possibility Fi might be awake and aware from within the sword.
Yes but it was already used in BotW so that's not new. The theme is new tho.
There is another nod to Fi here. When the Master Sword is talking, it makes a shimmering sound. This sound played in Skyward Sword when Fi needed to talk to Link.
"I'm tired boss"
-Fi after the sword is not only tainted with Malice during the Great Calamity, but is later fucking shattered the moment it comes face to face with the power it was forged to stand against
Now imagine how she feels after Zelda keeps the sword safe and heals it over millenia, and then Link fucks it up in seconds by fusing a raw steak to it or something.
Also Fi's DYING Too
@@ElFreakinCid *Fi just pops out of nowhere* "Excuse me master, but... what the fuck"
Fi gave her life to eternal slumber to protect her goddess and knight.
In return, her goddess does the same for her...
Beautifully tragic.
I heard the song
I immediately noticed it
I'm not joking when I say I started BAWLING at this fact. I LOVE skyward sword. It's my favorite game and means SO MUCH to me
Its Also The Music From Twilight Princess Where Midna Says Goodbye To Link
are we the same person
@@vicentegrasset
Maybe :3
Who knows
Same, dude, I had to put down my Switch for a solid 10 minutes cause I couldn't see the screen through my tears
@@HarryPortfelGaming YEAHHHH
I LITERALLY WAS CRYING SO HARD IVE MISSED FI SO MUCH AJSJAK
Your Grace, I finally found you.
Master Link is safe, he's searching for you, as we speak your Grace.
I am hurt, but a long slumber will heal my blade... Your Grace I beg of you, help me heal, so we can fight at my master's side.
Chef's kiss
i wanted to see Fi. my mind would have exploded
They gonna add her in the DLC. They have to.
@@nuk120 Don't think there will be DLC. Also IIRC Fi is the sword so she can't come out in her other form anymore.
@@kartoffelbiene They've already confirmed DLC although i doubt it'll involve Fi taking physical form outside the Master Sword because as you said she "became" the Master Sword after fusing with it just like Ghirahim when Demise removed his Master Sword from within his own body.
@@nuk120 Yes they will, in any case I strongly believe in it
@@javiervasquez625they confirmed the opposite lol
I really wanted to see Fi in totk, but im so glad we got this I screamed so loudly when I heard Fi and her theme
Fi's theme already made me cry a bit in BotW and it did once more in TotK : c
If I'm not delusional, I think we also hear it when Link first get back his broken master sword at the beginning.
Edit: okay i tried to look back into it, seems that time is the first and only time we get to hear her theme. I might have convinced myself otherwise from fanboism xD.
You can also hear the theme in the Mineru cutscene when Zelda shows the broken sword to her.
No, you're right: it plays also in the beginning, I noticed as well.
There is another refrence when you get the master sword back zelda basically describes the end of SS in all but names
Having this big of a callback to skyward sword is awesome af
The piano man 😭
When I heard fi’s theme in this memory I was beyond excited and happy because of the fact fi stayed with link all these years and if you look closely on the colors and design on the master sword it does resemble fi a little bit
At the beginning of the game as you head down to Ganondorf's burial ground, when the master sword starts to glow, it also makes the sound Fi makes when she wants to tell you something.
I almost cried at this scene when i heard the music, fuck, why i can't see Fi just one more time in a canon game?
Musical easter eggs are my new favorite thing
Every time Fi's shown her faintest acknowledgment of being alive and watching over Link, it breaks my heart that she's been just sealed away for all of eternity, watching as first her friend grew old and passed away, and then having to relive reincarnations of that friend's life again and again without end, knowing he only lives on in spirit, and will never be the same person she once knew.
Spoiler:
In the final cutscene (when Link saves Zelda, hits the lake, then comes out) when Zelda sees Link has the Master Sword, the sword illuminates as the Fi conversation starting sound effect is heard, then the light turns off again as the sound effect for Fi's end of conversation is heard.
Maaan call me a crybaby but I got teary eyed hearing Fi's theme 💙💜 She's my favorite of all time.
I Need this Version From fi‘s Theme 🥹
What is the name of this soundtrack? The “new” Fi’s theme ?
Is Fi okay…? She must be in so much pain, being decayed…
Hearing Fi's sound effect both in BotW and here always bring tears to my eyes. Hope from now they keep it if the master sword tries to communicate in next games.
So its pretty obvious that Fi is still aware inside the blade. That means she's watched every Link fight, bleed, and eventually die. That is depressing.
I believe it also plays a bit when zelda is talking to mineru about the sword
Fi and her backwards talk again
I actually couldn't help but cry when I heard her theme.. Im glad Nintendo never forgot her..
This sticks out so much I'm legit losing my mind that I didn't recognize it when I first saw this in game
“Feel free to enjoy the rest of the cutscene”.
That’s kinda considerate of you considering most UA-camrs would cut then and there.
Thanks for treating us to the rest of the scene
Oh fuck I'm crying now vhkdjtdkhc
I played Skyward Sword when I was in high school, and am so excited to find your video showing the easter egg of Fi in Tears of the Kingdom. May I kindly request to repost this video on a Chinese video website Bilibili? (I will include your channel's name, video link, and credit you as the original author in the video description) Thank you very much!
Fi in my opinion acts more like an AI than a mystical spirit.
ok so I do not know if this is the video I commented on with a link to the white sword of the sky and don't know if it was removed or what not but after doing a the quest to stand the toppled Mother Goddess statue back up by offering up Dinraals, Naydras and faroshes claws and going back to the Mother Goddess statue the one that is suppose to be the mark for Skyloft in the Forgetten Temple, the goddess statue presents to you the White Sword of the Sky, I know it could be another easter egg but it more cements the theory that the Forgetten Temple is skyloft and that Fi is still with us threw out the series
This was such a missed opportunity by Nintendo. I thought they were gonna link Skyward Sword to Botw and Totk somehow
My wife and I absolutely LOVE Skyward Sword and all the music, and when this part happened and we heard Fi's Theme we LOST IT! Gahhhh I love Zelda so much
i would love to hear the thousands of years of accumulated wisdom fi has.
I love that so much.
Fi is the most underrated chatacter in the entire series
Totk storyline is just a nod to skyward sword. Basically same plot ish.
Imagine being a main character in Zelda got reincarnated over and over again only to fight yiur nemesis once again, you cant die forever...
It would be interesting to actually see Fi again.
Genuinely cried at this part
Fuck me I cant even open youtube without getting spoiled. I really wish I didn't see this thumbnail...
The thumbnail isn’t real don’t worry
Thumbnail is fake, bro. Calm down lol. Yes… FUCK this uploader. But this is 1000% fake
oh hell no
@@DanteDMC3 But we all wish it was...
@@javiervasquez625 same 😞
I can't believe I could hear Fi's theme from totk
Somehow I noticed the Fi sound in this game but not when playing BotW
I felt so happy at the moment i heard this banger coming out
Mano, que cena linda
Spoiler Alert:
I want to think Zelda got to know Fi subconsciously in her slumber. She refers to the Master Sword as "she" and "her," and she describes her experience as if it was a dream. It would be nice to know that even in her state, she wasn't alone.
On a side note I really wish Ghirahim made a comeback, though most likely not as his humanoid self but as a cool sword Ganon wields
Does someone have the link to the totk version? It's so good
So underwhelming to see that nothing of these ever comes to any sort of resolution.
The story overall was fine but it presented everything in the first hour and then nothing happens until the very end. No progression, no development, no impact on the world, on the people. The flashbacks barely add anything new. And all the possible unresolved questions from the beginning don't develop any further or what's worst, some stay unresolved.
Gosh! Zelda's voice is so bad in the english version xD
This is no easter egg. This is called a leitmotif. Invented by the great Richard Wagner (I know he was a horrible person but as a musician)
My god, be less pretentious please
Eww it is so jarring to hear Zelda’s English voice, I didn’t play BOTW or TOTK in English so I almost forgot how awful that voice actress is
Girls: Boys didn't even cry at the Titanic movie. Do they even have feelings?
Boys hear Fi theme:
*shed manly tears*
I absolutely hate the dubbed voices for these characters. Zelda sounds 45 years old, King Rhoam sounds stuffed up and in his 20s, Rauru and Sonia barely sound like their VAs are even trying... The Japanese voices are simply better.
All I want is a game where Fi is in the game again tbh 😢
