UPDATE: If Cemu asks you to perform a 'system update', go into the 'system' folder, and then go into 'version.txt' and change the version to 1.1.2, then save it.
A quick way to get to system settings is to go on cemu, right click the game and then go to game directory! Then just go onto 'content' and then you should find it. Hope this helped!

for people getting unhandled exception when doing the title key, its because you had your current instance of usb helper open at the same time as another. just close your USB helper(s) and reopen, then it should work. UPVOTE SO OTHERS CAN SEE
i closed all of my usb helpers and reopened it and but in the title key but it keep freezing i need help

Just got my pc and I wanted cemu. First time I downloaded anything and I downloaded everything in 20 minutes. Great tutorial.👍
Did this and it ran fine, beyond the fact that It completely killed my pc (pretty beefy) and killed my internet after I had finished downloading, and essentially broke my pc, which I only fixed after uninstalling all files associated with it. I’m not saying don’t use it, just exercise caution and be careful. Still good guide

Oh sure, the song I used in the video is the Wii U Mii maker music and the outro song is Sonic Lost World Sea Bottom Segue. 😁

Lol that was me tonight. Got the urge to try out star fox zero had no idea I'd be up so late figuring this out. Should always come to UA-cam first....
I'm shocked at how well Xenoblade Chronicles X runs and how good it looks with the graphics options included, even an ultrawide hack. Perfect because I got my Wii U out to play it after 7 years and the file data was corrupted and apparently the disc couldn't be read (even though it was clean), then everything crashed and now the console won't boot...
And apparently that's a very common problem with Wii Us.

I followed the directions, but it's saying that the game was merged with update data, and most of the items in the folder have a red X.
Does it say this in Wii U USB helper?
@@KenHarn2019 no, it says it on cemu. There's an update for the game I'm trying to download and I didn't realize that until I had downloaded the game originally. Would that be the issue?
Update: I got the game to work, as I realized I never set a path in the initial cemu setup. ReShade tells me to update that, but I'm not worried about the graphics so I'll probably just play the game as is, since it's running fine now.

when I set my game path to the download directory instead of the extraction directory like they showed in the video it worked

What’s the point of the extract folder or the games folder if either of them are there? They serve the same purpose do they not? (Edit-) cemu won’t show botw and I’m not exactly sure why. I’ve set all the directories

Those folders helped me make Cemu work. I don't really know the difference between them so yeah. However in regards to BOTW, have you done the last step of making the game a title?

Sorry i haven't got back to you sooner! It's an emulator so crashes could often happen and it's completely normal! You could try and go on another video to fix the freezes and crashes though.

Hey, this is an amazing tutorial! Everything was easy to set up! Just one question. I’m trying to connect a controller to play. (Splatoon 1) I tried blutooth, cords, etc. I am using a PlayStation 5 controller. Do you know how I could get this to work?
I'm pretty sure that you can use the PS5 controller on emulators - according to research and google - Cemu does support Dualshock 4 and DualSense 5 (which is PS5). So i think if you plug in a controller with a compatible cable (or any cable) it does work. I don't think bluetooth works though, so yeah. If the PS5 controller does not work, a PS4 controller is always an available option, since my friend did say that he was able to get the PS4 controller to work.

@@sleepy_granny4698 this was pretty long ago but I think it was something to do with changing where the game files were located or messing around with the game options in the emulator
Hey if you can’t find the game your looking for, try setting it to the region the game was made in. For example for breath of the wild, set it to Japan to find the game in the Wii U usb

UPDATE: i downloaded cemu and the rest of the stuff and it took up WAY too much storage on my computer. it made my OneDrive games act up like crazy

I have downloaded 2 games and it runs well on my pc. however, when I'm downloading a new game the download speed is RRREEEAALLLLYYY slow. I'm using Wii U USB Helper as guided on the video. Could you help me with this?? Thank you!
Hmm, when downloading, try not to have too many apps open. But if it's not the case it could be to do with your storage/disk space.

I'm sorry to break it to you but since this is an emulator, some games are most likely to crash. Maybe you could try and find another video to fix the problem because i don't really know how to fix it. Sorry.

The title key is in the description. You basically have to copy and paste the key in when you install USB helper for the first time.

Everytime i try to Download a Game to Cemu from the USB Helper it keeps saying "Could not download Package Cemu cannot create C:\Users\aint telling you my name\App data\Local\Temp\tmpC910.

Some games may not work and are most likely to crash. I tried playing Sonic Lost World and i had the same problem as you. I'm not sure how to fix this yet though but i will try and look into this.

I was able to get Smash 4 working, but there is an issue, there’s just a black screen but the music is playing, update and dlc is installed, any help?
Try changing the game version or disable the graphic packs. It's normal for games to crash and not work though since this is an emulator. Sorry about that.

Does anyone know how to change wux to wud? I'm not sure why my game isn't loading. I'm used to iso. This is different. It says "could not decrypt title. Make sure the keys.txt contains the correct disc key for this file." Also when I try "install game title, update or DLC" (cause I'm kinda lost at this point) It says "Unable to find the /meta/meta.xml file inside the selected folder."

Usually for some games it may not work but I suggest to change the graphics pack in the cemu settings and try and see if it works.

my extract folder is empty and the downloaded files are in the downloads folder. so what do i do in cemu?
If the download files are in the download folder it means that you’ve completed that step. And what you need to do on Cemu is just add the extract folder when you go into “general settings” - it should say ‘Add’. Assuming that you followed the steps on Wii U usb helper? 4:07

Hey I followed your guide, but I have had issues with actually getting the game to open. It is currently red on cemu and closes whenever I try to open it.
