Great stuff you achieved that goal bru❤❤esp not the one but two that got away...😅😂😂❤..I wonder if there another type of sand shark much small and I doubt it had those spots...maybe abt 10 to 15 years ago an angler on the beach saw us catching them and noticed us returning them to the ocean..he reckon to myself and my bru that that is a top eating seafood. we neva believe that guy...sum tym passed and on a separate encounter catching another sand shark sumone else told us same thing it's one of the best eating seafood...we took a chance removed that almost frog type head on the beach and took it home..😮😮As soon as we told our late ma she reckon take it away shes not cooking any strange creature inside...she gave all the spices etc my bru cooked it outside fire...Bru believe you me it was the tastiest ever sea food.like two huge steak fillets..my bru cut it into cubes and cooked it inbetween a chutney and a fish curry...everyone of those families from those surrounding flats who ate it enjoyed it soo much and all was curious wat was whether prawns or crayfish cubes ..😅😂😂❤❤honestly that's exactly wat it tastes like ❤❤❤
Hi Ivan, thank you for your comments/stories on my videos, they motivate me to continue making videos👌. You do get the lesser sandshark which grows to only about 5kgs or so and I do believe you when you say they are tasty. A work colleague of mine told me about how he had sandshark fish cakes and they were to absolutely tasty! Personally I don't think I'd be able to kill one of the bigger ones as I have too much of love towards them, but the smaller ones we sometimes use for bait so it might be worth it to bring a fillet home and do a catch cook with it😎
Thanks bru... I haven't had or heard of much issues with them so far. But I guess with how light these rods are becoming, any knock to the blank can cause a breakage
The older horizon was much easier to load and basically casted itself, but I feel with these versions you can punch the rod more and get more distance than with the older model.

This is what makes it hard when fishing for these monsters alone, luckily u had a go pro, if not u would have not even had a Pic, people don't understand, where u hook the fish and land the fish is so different, 100 percent of the time our phones are kept in the bag.
I agree 100% bru, the gopro has saved me many times. I've even stopped taking photos with a phone unless someone there has one on them, it allows me to get the fish back into the water asap.
