Well done Shane well worth the wait
thanks mate! Super glad you enjoyed it, I was scared that everyone would have been fed up with this series by now lol

Great video my friend the diorama looks fantastic the panther looks amazing nice job on the rubble on the back great painting and weathering can’t wait to see what’s next thanks for sharing 👍🙏
thanks mate! It was quite the journey to get it to this stage but I am super happy to finally be able to see it all in its glory on the shelf. I am already to planning our next Battle of the Bulge project
@@longlance67 you’re welcome my friend been great following it looks forward to your next build 👍
Was really looking forward to this. Outstanding work. Now onto the next project, let’s go, hurry up. Kidding
Don't worry the next big dio project will have us returning to the Battle of the Bulge again lol
Nice to see the final, Shane. Take care.
thanks Rick! Hope you enjoyed it!
😂 I like the Monty Python reference to the Shrubbery, Well done Shane.
haha thanks John, glad someone got the Holy Grail reference lol
@@longlance67 Your welcome Shane, great build series.
Absolutely brilliant work mate!
Thank you! Cheers!
What a great day! Work has been rough in these wild temperatures, but I got a Night Shift video where he finished his IS-2 diorama, and then I see Shane released a video too! Awesome! Great work too! That looks really good!
Thanks mate! Super happy you enjoyed the wrap up for this project!
Absolutely brilliant work Shane. At first I thought that the mud was too “wet”. But then seeing the original photo I realised it was exactly that wet. It adds to the “misery” of the scene for the driver. The work on the Panther is superb. Another thumbs up 👍🏻 from Australia 🇦🇺. Well done my Irish friend!
Thanks mate! I was really drawn to the muddy misery of the original photo as a challenge to recreate it in scale
Cracking work Shane 👍
thanks mate! That's high praise indeed coming a dio master such as you!
Nice work! Congrats!
Thank! That means a lot coming from you good sir!
Excellent work, my friend.
Thanks Russ! Hope you have been keeping well my friend!
Super result Shane! You must be happy after all this time that you’ve given your Panther a home. 😀
Thanks Bruce! I have to admit I so happy to have finally gotten my Panther off my bench lol But I am super happy on how it came out! Now its on to Cobra King!
Well worth the wait Shayne. Brilliant outcome!!

Looks fantastic, well done !! figures are done brilliantly, really adds to the scene !!
Thanks mate! I so happy how they turned out especially the camo patterns on the panzer crewman, as I am always trying to improve my camo work
@@longlance67 where did u get the surrendering wehrmacht figure ? is it an alpine miniature ?
@@Subzero2151 The Surrendering Tanker is from Rado Miniatures
I agree 100%. Those figures are done so well they lift the whole scene.
Looks awesome
Thanks Mate!
Hi Shane, that was very well put together, excellent work mate, you must be vety happy with the result, best regards from Australia.
thanks mate! I am! But I'm also happy its finally done lol
Thanks, Shane. It's a pleasure watching you work.

Nice work Shane I'm from kerry and just started this hobby and really enjoying I'm just working on a panther diorama myself
Greetings from Galway! Welcome to the hobby mate, what Panther are you working on ?
@@longlance67 thanks so much mate ...it's the old tamiya panther aus a it's the one that used to be motorised ...I've nearly finished a simple diorama for it now
It's been an epic build, Shane and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Incredible journey culminating in a terrific final reveal. Thanks for stepping us through the eight episodes....lots of techniques and tips provided throughout. Will be great to see what you have in store for us in the not too distant future.
Thanks mate! I am super glad you enjoyed the series, I know it was a long journey to the finish. But I learned so much working on this project, and don't worry we about embark on our next Ardennes adventure very soon!
Now THIS is how kit builds, painting, details and dioramas are done! Excellent presentation indeed. 🤙
Thank you very much!
Outstanding work as always. The vehicle, figures, diorama base are very convincing and well done! Beautiful work!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks mate! I am super chuffed at how it came out! And to top it all off, several parcels arrived in the post today. Each containing kits for our next Ardennes adventures!
great work :)
Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome work, Shane! Really like all the bricks on the panther
Thanks mate! Ya the bricks were from a building that 126 collapsed on top of itself as it tried to run through Krinkelt
Wonderful. This diorama is looking amazing. Love the painting of the figures.
Thank you so much 😀
Hi Shane your diorama looks bloody amazing buddy so realistic awesome work.well done. cheers Gary 🇬🇧
I'm glad you like it mate!
Outstanding Shane!!!!
Keep going buddy
Great work !!!! Inspirational
Thanks! Will do!
Fantastic video to end this series on Panther 126! Love the diorama. Love the Panther. So realistic. The Battle of the Bulge is of big interest for me so I was riveted to this series of videos. Well done, absolutely brilliant! ✔️ Now, how about Panther 221 of Kampfgruppe Peiper, now there's a thought!!! 😊
Thanks mate! I am super happy you enjoyed it, as it was one of the most intense projects I have attempted as a modeler if I am honest. I have another Battle of the Bulge dio project already in the works. Let us say its the 4AD's turn next! But I just googled Panther 221. And have to say I really like the scene of all the GI's clambering all over it. But I really want to try do an Ardennes Panther with ambush camo next I think.
@@longlance67 looking forward to your next Battle of the Bulge diorama featuring the 4AD which will be super interesting! Can't wait to see that! As for a Panther featuring the ambush scheme, that sounds fabulous. I'm building a Kampfgruppe Peiper Panther, Panther 101, at the moment with ambush scheme but my skills, while ok, are nowhere near as good as yours!
@@davidarmstrong7549 I am thinking of depicting a scene with Cobra King and a M3 halftrack preparing to make their run for Bastogne. So that's the basic idea, I always want to do one of the King Tigers at some point too.
Oh nice! No doubt it will look great mate!
@@longlance67 that sounds fab Shane, looking forward to seeing that 😊
Excellent work, you take your time until you publish it. I want to apply pin wash with oil because with acrylics on oil it is difficult for it to spread well through the grooves, rivets, etc. What color do you recommend in oil on green paint base. Thank you very much.
Thanks! I would always recommend using oils over acrylics for dot filters. As for oil colors for green. You really can use any contrasting color you want really. I would recommend checking out 502 Modelling Oils. Which has great range of colors to choose from. Though for green base colors I like to use warm colors like ocher as a base.
Now this here position violates ALL of the rules of the Panther Fibel (LOL.) That driver needs to be fired. Fantastic job.
I think the poor driver was having a significant emotional effect lol
