They were upset it was too expensive to have their actors who tested positive with covid to have to get the Correct phasing (aka time off) and multiple shots to heal from the virus. Because Donnie was NOT the only cast member who tested positive for the virus.

A big return for Don Diamont? Good grief. He was on for 3 minutes. They should try finding a real woman for Jack. It is crazy for Jack to be acting the way he is with Sally. I have no interest in Kyle’s past and bringing on new people. Give Nikki a story. Give us a story with Paul in it. Get Chance back with Abby. Horrible writing these days.
I wish Kevin and Chloe had a major storyline. I miss them on the show. They should cross them over to B&B. They probably could be very useful over there, because Bolds storylines are getting boring. The same old storylines with Liam, Hope, and Steffy.

Ready don’t like the story line with Abby. She needs Chance back. And what’s up with Lola. Another one she had a great character line going but now has disappeared. Sad. As for Sally I just don’t care for her and can’t say that will change. There is something about her baby language that throws me off. I tried to give her time to grow on me but even on B&B she did not click.

It would be a very interesting storyline if they crossed over Don Diamont(Bill Spencer)again and have him learn that he and Brad Carlton were twins.

Hospital, where He did happen to survive but took on a multiple persona (from not being able to recall who he was) and Met and got involved in the life of Multi media Millionaire, William Spenser Senior (the 2nd)--The life long friend of Stephanie-Douglas Forrester, and He Honored his mentor by taking his name; and that's how Brad Carlton Became William "Dollar Bill" Spenser the III. ??

Personally I’d like to see Tess leave the show! She and .Mariahs’ relationship bring nothing good to the show and once Mariah has the baby I don’t think she is going to want to give it up. Of course I may be wrong, , but after carrying a baby and having it be a part of you I just cannot imagine giving it up even though I know she’s having the baby for Abby and Chance it’s a very complex situation and it will be interesting to see how the writers will twist everything around especially since Chance is rumored not to be coming back. I have watched this show from its beginning and I’m getting old and have different values than a lot of the young people have today..,.so we’ll have to wait and see what happens! It may be completely different and better than I can even begin to imagine!
Got to get beyond this 6 foot distance thing. I’m sure actors have all had their COVID vaccine shots, as they are “essential workers”. RIGHT!

We can watch other shows made in California n they are hugging n kissing but in this show the only ones hugging are those in a relationship in real life . Abby n Chace couldn’t hug on their honeymoon
I doubt they’ve had the vaccine, unless they meet the age requirement. I think the difference between soaps and prime time shows is the amount of time that they spend on the set. For prime time, they film for a couple of months, then are on hiatus. With soaps, they’ll be on set for a few days, then off a few days, then back again. It’s much more difficult to keep the actors in seclusion and keep up with testing.
This whole COVID thing is such an over exaggerated fear control. I’m disgusted with it.
One good thing about social distancing, I don’t see Mariah and Tessa kissing, yuck!
Sharon is sad- shes was not convincing at all. I would divorce Sharon ASAP. She loves nobody but Adam. She just can’t act to me at all, never have been.
I despise that character. She's just such a weak idiot. Adam is not willing to leave Chelsea, but she was willing to lose Ray. She's not good enough for Ray. Ray is heck of of a catch! He should leave her. He deserves so much better. She NEED a psychiatrist! The heifer is crazy!!!

I am totally serious, the day that Victor is off the show I AM DONE. I started watching when I was 19, I am now 67. For the most part the new characters and actors are horrible.
Think some writers want to stop watching get rid of them instead of good actors why make actors mean and stupid 🙄😒🤔 and un happy you know you can have some happy people on soaps
I agree with Kathy. soaps I been watching forever and never saw the whole soap have everybody at the same be unhappy. You would have some people be happy, but with these new writers all the cast members are unhappy and all the characters that made the soaps worth watching are all gone now we see all new people. whenever you get into a storyline and like it they charge it. it's not something that keeps me watching NO.

My opinion ,has anybody ever thought ,that's maybe these new writers are there to sabotage the show .
I like them bringing Atty Lauren Woodland back as I appreciate her acting and maybe she will give Sally some competition I have no problem with Jack falling for the younger red-headed Sally. I would've been shocked if he didn't get taken in by her. Remember John and Jill and their May December affair. Like father, like son. Will they get to the alter? Sad that Paul has left Y&R after all these years. We never did see enough of him. Now with Lauren leaving, what's Michael next? I don't know how the writer's and producer's ever think they will hold on to their top spot in the ratings at the rate they're knocking off all the characters the Y&R tried and true audience has grown to love and adore. People have better things to do than to waste their time watching a soap they no longer identify with. Many Y&R viewers have been with the show since it's inception, but that doesn't mean they will continue to stay.
You are so right! I’ve been watching Y&R since the very first episode and I only watch it now maybe three times a month. I love all the characters who basically grew up on the show and am sad to see them get written off. And for what? The new people don’t seem to add very much to the show. Nobody has enough depth to their roles. I truly don’t understand how Y&R has remained in the number one spot all these years. Don’t get me started on B&B! The Hope, Liam & Steffy triangle is so so dead. Just b/c they’re young doesn’t mean they’re automatically interesting! Get a grip and write something different for them.

i am pretty sure Sasha is gone. Soap money vs money made on a major film. I would say recast Sasha, but she has been moved to a supporting role for several months. The writers will probably have her open a restaurant away from Genoa City.
