Thx u oldstuff in downloading these episodes of crimewatch uk and crimewatch solved I know crimewatch uk is mo more they should bring bk crimewatch solved
A lot of the time Nick Ross the original presenter of Crimewatch used to say at the end of every episode don't have nightmares do sleep well well I certainly did not after watching all of the reconstructions in fact it used to give me really bad nightmares
Armed robbery was a serious problem in the 80s and into the 90s - it often has connections to wider criminal networks and violent crime. So they tightened up the sentencing.
Now why cant some of these other murders get life never to be released as in the Sarah Payne case. It will never bring her back but it stops him doing it again and seems as if justice is done
There is a separate "whole of life" sentence for that. A standard life sentence means that a prisoner can in theory be released after a minimum term, but ONLY if they are deemed to no longer be a threat. Even then, they are only released "on licence" which means they are monitored in the community for the rest of their lives and can be recalled to prison at any time.
You do realise this video is from 2002 - over 20 years ago. Crime started plummeting in the years after that and as of 2023, crime in the UK is at its lowest ever levels
You poor thing ................missed the episode of the white fellow holding a knife to the "foreigner" after robbing a store belonging to "foreigners". For the record watching "Crime Watch" from the first episode till now (many years now) I've noticed that although racist like yourself are always blaming "others" for any/everything negative although truth be told it's homegrown white Brits and surrounding areas that are committing most of the crimes. I guess racist do this to keep people from looking at them.
@@zeddekalead has a primary half life of around 20 years in the atmosphere and lead petrol was scaled back and then fully banned in 1999/2000 and you then see the gradual drop connected to the gradual reduction in lead
Self-congratulatory + pointless dramatization of what should have been soberly reported updates thanking the public, these episodes. Line between helping and exploiting victims had been crossed, I guess.
I'm afraid I have to turn off when ever Fiona Bruce is involved. Her ego is interstellar and I find her quite cold as a presenter. Used to love the antiques roadshow till she ended up being the presenter. Nothing personal. Just my opinion. Don't shoot me! Bless you and takecare
OldStuff, bringing NewStuff to me! Thank you ❤
Thanks better than the Christmas TV on offer ❤

20 months sentence for a carer of a disabled man, for draining his savings. Where is the justice for the victim?
Magical upload.
The terrible acting on this program brings back memories 😂
some of the acting was a bit strange indeed 😂
😂😂😂😂
We truly are surrounded by animal's at time's.
We’re also surrounded by inappropriate apostrophes at times…

One clip shows a man convicted of two r*pes and gets 8 years.
And in the very next clip a man gets 9 years for arm robbery….
INSANE
sentencing for r*pes has sadly gotten worse

2:55 This is the chap from Newton & Ridley, Coronation Street.
To think we have the busiest police force in the world and it just shows what a state this country has become.
Yes, because you have people calling because their curry is too hot.

As of 2023, crime is at its lowest ever levels. Crime was much higher back then. But you don't care about facts.

A lot of these I can't remember. A tall overweight Geordie from Bishop 🤣🤣 Nobody would call someone from Bishop a Geordie.
Would if he was born in Newcastle, not everybody is born in the place they now live or have lived.

We know it's just your opinion . You don't have to say that.
And it's personal.
Why bother to post this if you're going to try to walk it back?
Agree she is vile.
