- Ravn Alaska is a regional airline that serves remote communities across Alaska. The airline is headquartered in the state's largest city, Anchorage.
After a bankruptcy selloff and restructure, the airline is expanding across the Alaskan skies once again. Along with the regional Ravn airline, the parent company FLOAT Alaska plans on launching its new subsidiary Northern Pacific Airways in 2022. They plan on connecting the U.S. and Asia through Anchorage with an all-Boeing 757 fleet.

The classic dash has a special place in my heart. Also, I love the red interior. I’ve never seen it before.
I’ve been on this flight a few times. Flying with Ravn is very different. Every time I‘ve been on a flight to/from Deadhorse there’s always been someone sleeping across the back row. I do miss it.
What a cool trip! Checked it out, and that DC-6 landing at 5:30 is 65 years old and still flying. Thanks for the great report!

The scenery in this video was just stunning. The beautiful snowy terrain of Fairbanks and sunny snow capped mountains of anchorage. This was a great video. And i'm looking forward to the 757 flight next! Thanks for the video!👍🙂🛫

This is a really cool report (or based on the weather, freaking cold). great photography throughout but oh my gosh that descent sequence was breathtaking. being able to roam throughout the cabin got some interesting shots also. Be safe and as always thanks for sharing!!!

Great livery on that Dash 8-100. And seeing Mt. McKinley above the clouds like that was awesome. Arrival into ANC was really spectacular with the setting sun making the propellers glow a nice color @12:45.
Awesome video as always. Glad to see more of your work, you are talented and do a great job. This video reminds me of my very first trip as a 10 year old, a trip that involved an MD-80, an L1011 tri-star, dash 8, and a 727. Interestingly the dash8 is the only one you will still really see at US airports. Again... another great video.

As an Edmontonian, we're used to taking this puddle jumper to Calgary to hop on the big jets to larger places since air service from Canada's #5 market is crap thanks to Westjet and Air Canada centralizing their routes via Calgary... Great video as always!!

I was in Alaska during the Winter once & only 3-4 hours of daylight till Summer then 21-22 hours of it.

Yes it's true that there was no in-flight entertainment on board that plane but if I was on a flight that had nothing like that I just do whatever it takes to pass the time

Back at the very beginning of the pandemic I was working for Jazz at a very small outstation from YYZ and during those last few days before the lockdowns we were turning Dash-8 300's with 1 or 2 pax coming in and going out on each flight. It felt very weird calling for boarding on the PA system while making full eye contact with that single pax, but It must have felt like quite the VIP service getting a DH3 all to themselves.
Like that scene in "Meet The Parents" When Ben Stiller is standing there alone and the gate agent is using the PA system.

I fly Ravn between Kenai and Anchorage all the time but I didn't know that they had a route from FAI to ANC
I believe they dropped it due to low demand

The Dash 8 is super noisy inside. I sat in back row middle seat. It's an interesting perspective flying looking up the middle of the row.
I wish you would do before anyone else does, is fly Air Saint Pierre from Canada to Saint Pierre & Miquelon, the only French Islands off the coast of NFLD. with their new ATR and new Paint scheme. So Cool!

The official name is Mount Denali. McKinley was dropped years ago.
I was surprised that Ravn stopped flying this route, but after understanding hiw empty this flight was now I get it. I guess most people would choose Alaska over Ravn because it's a faster plane and people want to get MVP Alaska miles. Alaska was the only option, but when I flew FAI-ANC on an E-175 the plane was almost completely full.
Living in Memphis, it's interesting to see a FedEx 727 still around.

I see the dash 8 fly over me all the time when they go to st paul
I worked for Frontier throughout the 90's, it's a very old problem, as long as a 737 flies someplace, you won't get very many passengers on something like a Dash 8, especially if the ticket prices are comparable

I think it’s weird that Fairbanks airport doesn’t have TSA. I think all airports, globally, should have TSA.
QFS, can you make a video from dublin to Dubai if you can this 2022 please, I am from Dublin and there was no Dublin video since 2019 , so please do it.
I feel that you should rate inflight entertainment only if the aircraft has it installed. Especially since the majority of airlines don't, at least across their whole fleet.
