- Nikolai was trying to get advice that he went to prison and he was Russian. And that man doesn’t deserve to live because he betrayed monty and that man was trying to betray all of them. Because he have no choice at all.

Spike generally puts good music in his films that really help set the tone.
The actor playing the russian mafioso "uncle Nikolai", is the georgian actor Levan Uchaneishvili.(Levani). He performed some roles in several post-soviet era films, like "Platon". His adjudant is the russian Mikhail Kuznetsov.
I always loved the portrayal of Russian gangsters in this movie - you know that these are bad, bad men but you also get the impression that there's a kind of honor and respect among them. They clearly recognize Monty as being an outsider and do not hold him in great esteem, but the fact that he makes them money and is otherwise loyal to them means they will pay him his dues nonetheless.
