She has so many songs & not a bad one in the whole bunch! She's done many collabs that are great too. She's an absolute superstar in my opinion 💖
I listen to a lot of metal, many different subgenres of metal, so I'd consider myself a metalhead as well. But I also love all kinds of music. As long as the music sounds good and hits me/entertains me, that's all that matters. LP hits you, has a great voice, relatable lyrics and catchy melodies. The true value of a musician can be shown live and LP shines live. Others offered LP's cover of Halo and Muddy Waters (great bluesy feel with a southern US gospel vibe). If you want more rocky songs from LP, I would suggest live versions of My Body or Wasted Love. Both in a 50s rockabilly style with a great old school swagger. Forever For Now (this showcases LP's whistling, LP wrote this about her mother, after she passed away) Tokyo Sunrise (Japanese traditional music vibes, it has a beautiful official videoclip, but a live version is also amazing) Strange (a celebration of all kinds of differences between people and how important it is to have people who are there for you without judging) When We Are High (this one is a bit controversial, I take it as a sarcastic critique against drugs and how they destroy people's lives, but some people take it literally as a celebration of drugs, because it's sang from a warped perspective of a junkie) Tightrope (live from 2020 Livestream Concert, one of LP's more poppy songs, lyrics and catchiness of this song makes it one of her most favourite songs and the live version is LP at her best as a performer, enjoying every second on stage) The One That You Love (beautiful song, again, both the videoclip and the live version - the acoustic live from Hotel Havana is special) Many more to recommend, but this post is already way too long. Muddy waters is the best LP song ever you have to react to that. And yes I'm into metal to but I love all sorts of genres music is a feeling if you like it you like it regardless of the genre.

awesome song, LP is like the new age Prince, so talented in all aspects of the music world. On tour in fall and tickets are very cheap. I have seen some interviews in past... such a rock star and very grounded and humble. I like the change up, music is the universal language so lets cover some more genres.
She’s going to be in Texas in November. We are definitely going to get tickets. I love her style & swagger. The little whistles she threw out. And the part she went into her higher pitched head voice so far away from the microphone towards the end. So effortlessly throughout this entire performance. I found her on vinyl and ordered it right after watching this. Incredible artist. And I love Prince. And we should never limit our exploration of other genres. I just love it all ❤️
