The two fighters bleeding together and then celebrating their performance togetherz is both savage and wholesome for some reason, i nwver thought wholesomeness can exist even in sheer violence

I agree. I've had some during rolling sessions in the past due to heavy caffeine consumption, and it feels like you're having a f*cking heart attack: short breath, blurry vision, dizziness, loss of strength (you feel like you're literally empty); it's not a fun experience.

The most bizarre way I've seen a fight end is Matt Mitrione kicking his opponent in the nuts 10 seconds into the fight and the guy couldn't continue. This was the main event of a Bellator card in February 2019, and once the doctor called off the fight Matt thought he had one by TKO and was celebrating, but I think he was DQ'd or it was a NC.

Crazier things have happened. In Bellator one HW fight (Eric Prindle and Thiago Santos) ended in a groin strike. The rematch also ended in a groin strike by the other fighter. And not any kind of common kick, but an axe kick! To a downed opponent!

Nakamura vs Wanderlei has always seemed fine to me, strangely it was on my very first PRIDE live event back in 2005 (my older brother was an amateur and he never missed a PRIDE event) and if you look at Silva instead of focusing on "King Kaz" removing his Gi, then you can see that Wand obviously waited for him to be done
Nakamura and Wand then punched each other at the same time and KazNak got countered & finished, but seriously, look at the finish from all the angles and don't listen to the commentary, and it seems obvious than Wanderlei paused for a second

Wait a couple questions and comments: The fight where the 2 men bled too much , I really like their sportsmanship afterwards, But also quick question: Do they get paid for a fight stoppage? Do they get paid paid full or partial or none at all?

I remember seeing a guy who was brutally beating his opponent so badly without the ref stopping it and his opponent not giving up so the guy quit. He was worried he was going to give his opponent permanent damage. I think it was an amateur match so the loss wasn't a huge deal, but was still interesting

Emmanuel Yarbrough vs Keith Hackney at UFC 3 was pretty insane. That's the first fight that comes to mind when I think of the early days of the UFC and really illustrates how wild and unregulated it was back then.

As an ER doctor, idk why these cutmen think they can stop a bleeding laceration located on the HIGHLY VASCULAR FACE by just applying some Vaseline.
No, you need actual sutures for a laceration of that size. No way around it.
