Looking into this too. it's nice that it can be easily used for any camera with tripod mount. I think they make a similar one with all foam grips like a big oval.
it's good for the cameras that don't have a specific cage designed for it. I haven't seen those big oval ones but I'm picturing something that looks like the tilta gimbal ring. Thanks for the watch.
Yes you could. It'll look odd with such a small camera inside this cage but with the DJI rocksteady combined with the two handed grip. That should give some nice smooth motion and be comfortable to hold.
Thank you! It seems that Follow Focus is located a bit far from the handle. Can you still handle the rig with both hands and adjust the Follow Focus or you need to handle the rig with right hand while adjusting the Follow Focus with the left hand? Thank you!
With any system, I always hold the handle with my right hand, balance the left side on my palm while reaching the follow focus as a grip so I can adjust it handheld.
@@TPMReview Gotcha! Thank you! I'm waiting for my first ever Follow Focus that should arrive tomorrow. I hope I'll be able to find a way to comfortably use it.
@@NoWheelDriveI haven't found a mechanical follow focus that is truly comfortable to use. Only the wireless systems that integrate into the handle are comfortable but they are pricey
Sorry I don't, but the stabilizer is more for a comfortable grip and mounting points for accessories. It helped a little bit but still not as stable as a camera with IBIS.

Thanks for the content. Still good in 2023 👍
Thanks alot, really appreciate it. Good luck on your film making journey 👍
Thanks for this! Very helpful! Subscribed :)
The 1 -3/4 inch round spacers below the hand grips on the camera cage can be removed for a lower profile and looks better.
Thanks for the tip, I have now done this and you are right, looks alot better
Great review! Well done.
Thanks for watching 👍
How do i attach this cage to a tripod with the 15mm rods
Its been a while since I had this cage, aren't there mounting threads on the bottom to attach a QR plate?
could you use this for a dji osmo action camera for home use?

@@TPMReview I totally agree. I'm not ready to buy a wireless one. They are indeed pricy, but I hope to get there one day.
@@NoWheelDrive may we both get there soon :)
Do you have footage of with this stabilizer?

I loved your intro!!! Everything is cheap and possibly from eBay or second hand, that's my life pretty much hahahahaha
Thanks lol we all have to start somewhere
8 minutes of talking, zero test footage shot to see what it’s like in action. Totally pointless review
Thanks for watching the whole thing
@@TPMReviewI'm glad I saw this cuck of a reply before watching. Closing the video
No test footage?
Sorry mate, that's something i should've done
@@TPMReview a separate video of test footage will be appreciated.
Unfortunately I don't have the rig anymore but will keep your advice in mind for other products
