I've always wondered if that was a menorah behing your left shoulder next to the bust of Christ. It's very beautiful.

I have a question on this, if anyone can help. The Festival of Lights to my understanding was not a ordained feast to hold by God. This is just a commemoration of what He did for the people. Like we remember his death burial and resurrection, with Easter Sunday. His birth was never ordained to be celebrated, but people do it, to remember what a great Miracle.
We remember Jesus in the Festival of Lights because he said he is the father of lights. Hanukkah represents the light of the world, who is Jesus.
So my question, can someone provide 2 scriptures to establish that Hanukkah was an ordained feast given by God? Please. Thank uou

I hear more about the Book of Enoch. Its not part of our Catholic Bible, but would it be wrong to read it in a Catholic Bible study group?

@@CatholicDefender-bp7my Thank you for responding. Nor admitted to the Torah. I am hoping that Jeff can add to his list of Bible questions responses. I think because of the apocryphal content is a reason for the increased popularity now.

Fulfilled does not mean done away with. Jesus says, For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle shall in any wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled. Even in the coming Kingdom we find that people everywhere will be obedient: “And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says Yahweh,” Isaiah 66:23. The feast should continue to be a memorial throughout all generations.

I want to give my two cents lol… I did some research on the book of Enoch. I’m not an expert but it seems that the book of Enoch is not the same Biblical Enoch. And that’s why it didn’t qualify.
And the reasoning behind it not qualifying was becuase his interpretation and perception of God was contradictory to Gods nature.
That was my findings. But again not an expert.
