First off, the 80's look was waaaay too minimalistic. They could have went with a flamboyant new wave/new romantic look like boy George or Adam ant. The 2000's counterculture belongs to the emo, I totally should have seen, fringe bangs, and guyliner and put the hipster look to the 2010's as this is the decade that look had more of an impact on. So sick and tired of the 2000's and 2010's being lumped in together

Vintage Greaser greasers are rather overdone especially in all these fashion evolution videos. The beatnik embodies the true 1950's counterculture.

greaser was more a class thing than a counter culture movement. They were extremely low income families and often didn't go to high school so they were able to work so they could get money. I recommend the book outsiders, for a example of what a greaser actually is. They were a closeknit community that leaned on each other in times of need. Ponyboy Curtis and his family are a good example of real greasers that I know of as of now.

Will have to check to see if that is accurate as a 70s punk and an 80s goth. Didn't sk8rs start in the 70s (think "Lords of Dogtown") and get big in the late 80s? If we are going with the pattern of the others, shouldn't the 90s be grunge or something?

Kaministquia Mahackamack I suspect that skaters started much earlier than that, late 1950s. It was definitely around in the 1960s. For 1980s, I'd have said raver.
