You’re back in the saddle again Doctor. Have always loved you in your shop, with the clothes dryer running in the background. Thanks for showing us HOW
Thank you so much for this. This brought to light lots of good info. I had to pull apart a Boy Scout that is also keyed but had badly worn out pins. Tons of useful info and I very much enjoy you explaining what you are doing and reasoning behind it
That coffee sounds delicious I’m definitely interested in buying some once you figure out how you’re going to sell it. Great job on fixing that knife looks great
Yes the southern knife hobbyist is one of them best at repairing knives. I also like the way he explains what he does. Great video Doc I was wondering if you still repaired knives.
Dr , I had the same problem w a brass liner lock, the fix is to close the blade then use you can grind down the end of the brass lock and fix it. The brass will wear down but it will take a long time. Dremel to the rescue.God bless, Michigan Dan
Bro Bradley Ladnier and Ms Rebecca are great People!!! I can't wait to enjoy a cup of y'all Colab Coffee!!! OT turned out very nice!!! Thanks Doc, glad your back in the Shop!! 🙏👍🎄💯🔥🗡️
Awesome repair job Doc. The LTD on the blade means limited edition. I have several limited edition Schrade Knives made and acquired up here in Ellenville NY. You have truly created a "Limited edition". Another most enjoyable video.
Congratulations on the coffee! Nice job on reblading the Schrade. Note that it might be worthwhile to adjust the blade kick a bit as the point is a little proud.
Blending pins to where you can’t see them is one of the hardest things to learn. Make sure the hole and pin are clean. Use a mirror face polished hammer with the flat side not the ball. You have to leave about one third of the thickness of the pin to blend. Keep checking to ensure you don’t bind the blade and know when to quit. I use a dremel 125 bit to chamfer the holes. Keep at it sir it takes a lot of practice to get it right.
Hello Kevin I live in NC and love your videos. I just wanted to let you know there is an auction company here named thin pink line in Taylorsville NC. They have a ton of old timer blades on their hi bid auction. You may want to check them out. Best of luck to you and keep the content coming.
Kevin - that's one of my favorite OT patterns. Great job breathing life back into that knife again. I shot you an email - I have a package I would like to send you with one of my new Channel Stickers. Just don't have your PO box. Thank you! Jim
Great video. I've learned a lot. Love the sound of the rain coming down. Nothing like knives, rain on tin roof and a great cup of coffee! Thanks Doc.
It's so good to hear that you now have your own blend of coffee. I'm looking forward to the day that we can sit, chat and enjoy a cup together. ☕

Use electrical linesman pliers gives you more leverage for cutting. There uses to cutting small screws with them
