Great points in this. I had an opportunity to get a bike and barely afford it, but then I took insurance and literally everything else into consideration and realized I might need more time 😅
Nothing wrong with that! Good thing you did your due diligence first! Relieving yourself from instant gratification until the time is right is always best. Let me know what you end up getting 💪🏾💯
if you're at the dealership looking at bikes make sure to actually sit on it and see how it is for you because yes you can look at seat height but it's better to FEEL it for yourself like how raised or lowered are the clipons? is it more forward or backwards? is the rear set making you lean too forward or too upright.
This is actually a great point! Just like how naked bikes are more comfortable than sportbikes. You definitely want to feel how each bike feels. For me personally, the new R1’s sit very tall and are uncomfortable for me but my GSXR 750 is a perfect fit. Thanks for this
This is so true man. I got another video that touches on the insurance. I’ve noticed that majority of UA-cam videos don’t even talk about everything you just listed. People think you just buy a motorcycle but almost NEVER account for gear. Thanks for this comment
Full coverage on a bike can be expensive depending on the crime rate. Liability can be much cheaper but you often cant if your getting a lone. Smaller bikes are easier to insure. I pay 6 a month for my duke 200
You can usually find a good deal on a bike thats a year or two old. Usually it already has an aftermarket exhaust and fender eliminator. Plus you wont have to pay those stupid dealer fees as well.
My personal favourite way too purchase a motorcycle, is with cash😂 every other way outside of 100% buying you’re gonna pay through the roof in extra fees and interest if ya can’t buy it in cash don’t get it!

Thanks man! And I’m using a go pro hero 11
Ok so a first bike shouldn’t be a gsxr 750-1k smaller or bigger?
Definitely not a 1k. A 750 is moderate but doable for sure
All facts, good video
Definitely appreciate you man!
