Defo recommend a helmet bro - on And off-camera... many of us ride with full face helmdts even at slower speeds but even a standard half shell is good. Stay safe 🤙🏽
Blue loctite should hopefully stop motor mount screws from loosenin up 👌🏽
£40 customs charge is great, but most other china based brands sort that out beforehand 😲

Yeah those trucks, not only are they beautiful but super high quality in my opinion. The flex is one of the things that drew me to the board as well, absolutely love it.
You're right about the helmet, I have a half shell that I wear whenever I'm riding normally, I just tend to take it off when filming (Not clever I know!). I do you have a full face one on the way as well, So will switch to that even when filming in future. Glad you liked the drone work as well, felt a board this special deserved it. Funny you mentioned loctite as well, I've got some in my drawer ready for the next time they come loose haha. Thank you for watching man I really appreciate the support and the comment :)
@@dinoduderocket tbh the Verreal might bore you once you get used to the Ownboard Zeus, Verreal tend to be a bit less punchy but have super turny Double Kingpin as opposed the TKP on the Zeus so different ride feel - less stable but Ridiculously fun to skate, especially through London traffic 😂 Hope we see some eBike and other Personal EV on the channel too, I love eBoards most though 😂
@@eBoard3R thank you man, I love how different boards can be. As this was mainly a cyclepath commuter for me I prefer the more stable straight line experience compared to double kingpin. However whenever I'm just skating for fun I really do like dkp. I don't know if I'd ever purchase a scooter or bike, just because I've never been super passionate about them, but still definitely something I'd consider. Have a new board review coming at some point soon, And hopefully a DIY project. Budget depending haha
Great review! I have an og version with the flimsy charge port cover. Got it in March 2023. That's the only downside for me. I'm still impressed every time i ride it, how carvy it is for its size and weight. I think it has to do with the offset angle of the trucks.
Mine came with the hotas, but soon got Dad Bods, Engens them Boas. My latest shoes are the new Mad Wheel 105s and wow, what a huge improvement in ride quality and grip. I didn't believe the hype so wasn't anxious to try them, but it's real. I'm not into top speed or range so they're ideal for my style.
Been riding since '74, skated with some legends here in the states. I love this sport which has allowed us old-skool skaters to continue ripping, albeit slower.

@@ivanalvarenga9080 Thank you so much for the kind words! I've heard a lot of good things about the 105 mad wheels, Not yet had the chance to try them myself but I will do as soon as I can. Eskating really is an awesome hobby and convenience, I'm eager to learn more about it as time goes on. Thank you for your comment and I hope you like my other videos I've done on eskate recently :)
