Great review Fred, I totally agree with you on the deck shape, I love my Zeus Pro, especially with Evolve 97 street wheels or Cloud 105s! Now I might have to sell my pro and get a Pro Max...
yo ownboard, if you're reading the comments, you should update the specs to a 2wd, 25 ah battery. I'm pretty sure 45km is for AWD. The whole chart should update based on options selected. In fact, why not just make a separate page for Zeus MAX 2WD? In bet on harder wheels with larger battery, this bad boy goes over 80 km range.
Well that settles it... this is 100% my next board to compliment my Titan X. I'm all over that monster 1170wh battery. Awesome video and great review!!! Also... you're looking jacked during the 110mm top speed test. You hitting the weights hard?
I was thinking the same thing, but I'm a little concerned it's just TOO similar to the Titan X we already own! The Ruckus, N3, or possibly waiting for the Mach 1 to ship might all be a better options in my case as I think I'd want something a little bit different for a second board. I'm still LOVING my Titan X though! But this Zuess Max looks killer!
@ssoffshore5111 My Titan came with 165mm wheels. I recently switched them out to 120mm Clouds and upgraded the bushings with Riptides. It made a HUGE difference. I think my board is perfect now but I could always use a bigger battery. The 1170wh battery would be perfect. I'd order the Zeus Max with the 120mm wheels and change the bushings.
@@WorldwideDarts I'm using the 120 CW on my Titan now also. Which size bushing do I need to order? I think you went with the 93/96 combo IIRC, we're about the same size, so I just need to know which hight/size to order. I'm looking forward to trying them...
@ssoffshore5111 I'll check my Riptide order form in the morning and let ya know. I thought there was only 1 Krank barrel size though. I'll let you know
@@ssoffshore5111i have a tkp riptide bushing video. and the thumbnail is actually my titan x.. and i agree. 120cw on the titan and or the zeus is a game changer. i didnt like cloudwheels when i first started esk8. the zeus and titan x made me like them veryy much . i still prefer the 105s and 120 discoveries over all there other wheels ✅
The reviews on this board are looking good, way to go OB! I'm still loving the B-One Titan X you kinda recommended to me for my first board almost a year ago, and I really want to pick up a second board now as I've really fallen in love with esk8ing... This one sounds like one to own, but I'm just concerned it's almost still to similar to my Titan X to justify it. The Ruckus, N3, or possibly waiting for the Mach 1 to ship might all be a better idea in my case. 5' 11", ~195 lbs. Thoughts?
Maybe try a different style of board . So I run the acedeck x1 . And am looking at the meepo flow as my second board . Different boards for different needs .
@@esk8unity Either. Looking for comfort above all else for those 30+ mile rides on a mix of conditions, but mostly (bad) streets. Sometimes those high PSI AT wheels feel harder than street wheels, ya know what I mean.
Thanks for the great video! Waiting for my Zeus pro bamboo to arrive, ordered it with 100mm boa wheels. Can't wait to make long range trips with it. What do you think of the Bamboo Zeus pro? I have another ownboard for 5 years now, the W2 and it's doing well after many miles. Hobbywing ESC, tkp trucks, flexible deck and big battery were my main points for a new ride and after long comparison I went with ownboard instead of meepo voyager or others
great choice . def a good call with the bamboo zeus over the voyager for sure. i just wish the ownboard bamboo zeus had more concave. but thats just personal preference ✅
for $149 bucks more, i LOVE my gtr (series 2) . i ride it more than any other board and have two of em. tynee explorer is a good option too. but i still like the GTR2 better. dm me on IG if ya wanna chat about it more, discount code/links in description of the evolve gtr2 video and tynee explorer video
@@esk8unity unlikely gtr2 in EU is 1,6k € +, explorer ~ 1k so I think that’s the right choice. True is that whatever board I ll buy should be fine as for beginner, right xD ?
@czitos5228 my tynee Explorer is now being used as my best friends wife's trainer . It is a great board . With good power and speed . I personally find that a scroll wheel is better to learn on as you can't break and accelerate at same time . But that's just a tast thing .
“better” is very subjective. id rather not do flip tricks and kick push anymore. not really my thing. i used to tho. now i carve at whatever speeds i want, 180 slide, shove its, peter pans, 180 step, perottes and many more fun things electric longboarding have to offer. the best is riding in the city between cars going from hoboken, to manhattan to brooklyn all on a board doing 20-30mph. unfortunately a traditional board cant do that . so i think eboarding is “better” . but can u actually skate?
@@esk8unity never tried.. i dont have the money for ELECTRIC boards.. and i dont really like them.. ill try to get a vid someday.. ive been busy lately
This is a very nice deck. Really nice concave and almost 11” width. Other companies in the industry could learn from Ownboard.

For a rider of 196 pounds do you recommend zeus max or b one titan x ? I cannot make my choice 😅
What’s your best guess on the increased range you would get with the bigger battery?
4-5 miles
Of all the wheels you’ve tried, what wheels do you prefer for long range rides?
street or AT? street wise, boosted 105/mad wheels. AT, either evolve 6, evolve 7”, hota 6” or now the new 6” nova tires
