Shortly Speaking...! If I have "BAPTIZED" after knowing the love of LORD JESUS CHRIST we have no need to baptized again... And if by mistake or any other cause i have sinned i can repent just by accepting my sin before GOD in the name of Jesus Christ.

If your married and you celebrate your marriage after 40 years by recommitting your vows - this is no different to getting re-baptised - especially if you have a major change in your ministry

Incorrect. You are demeaning God's work of baptism by saying it can or should be repeated. Baptism is God's work of salvation, not your boastful action.

i was baptised as a little baby and i don't need anyone to tell me it is or was wrong. I don't know whether i agreed with it but i really know that i didn't disagree with it
Also, i accepted God when i was a little kid so i do know that i always believed in him. Getting baptised again won't save me so i have no reason why i should get rebaptized when i have nothing to repent about or change in my beliefs

God is holy and can not communicate with sins of any kind! God can not accept you unless you believe in Jesus Christ that paid the price for your sins and even then, you have to repent your sins to Jesus and ask for forgiveness and ask him to cleanse you and through that, and ONLY that can YOU be accepted by God!
Edit: YOU can not accept God, he has to accept YOU, after you accept Jesus Christ as your savior.

I was Baptized as a baby in the Lutheran Church, and I tried to get Baptized again because I felt a deep need, and wanting__ because Now I Know Jesus.
I am a Totally different person__ Praise God__
But, my Pastor says that I have already been Baptized.
I will get Baptized__ but probably at a different Church.
I will Try to speak to my Pastor one more time.
    I don't understand Why he ( my Pastor) doesn't understand.🙏

It's not that your Pastor doesn't understand. It's that you do not believe what God does in Baptism and what Baptism is FOR.
      What is Baptism?
In short, from the mouth of a child: a bath of forgiveness.

Baptism has nothing to do with feelings. The fact that all these folks get muh rebaptized is simply because it's people believe postmodern lies of the simple truth of Scripture. It's amazing that the guy interviewed in this video is a Pastor. Astonishing but not surprising!

I was baptized very young like 8 years old an I didn't know or care what baptism was I thought it was cool to be in water. I also didn't do with my mom and she was upset so I felt horribly bad I wanted to do it again with her. But I just don't know what God would think. I just want to do it when I actually care and I can actually dedicate my life to him. So the question is should I?

My entire family was Polish Catholic and my babcia said the rosary daily and was devoted to her faith. She donated a lot of money to the local Catholic Church and when my 16 yr old mother took me to the church to get baptized at just a few months old, the priest told her because she had me out of wedlock, I was born out of sin and was not welcomed to be baptized. I was an innocent baby who had nothing to do with her decisions and did not ask to be here. She left in tears and my babcia went to the church upset threatening to never return or donate $ and to take all friends and family with her ( it was a big group). The priest priest changed his mind but wasn’t happy about it but my mother decided she didn’t want me to get baptized there and to this day I haven’t been but for months now I have been pulled toward Christ reading scripture any chance so get and watching video after video on UA-cam about the life of Jesus Christ and what the Bible teaches us. I want more than ever to be baptized I get emotional just thinking about it.

Go and do it but remember it is by full immersion. You may want to be baptised as Jesus commanded, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost Matthew 28 :19 and also as Peter commanded in the name of Jesus Christ Acts2 :38.

    • @lloydjenkinson1260
      @lloydjenkinson1260 3 роки тому

Candice you should be baptised by full immersion. I was baptised as Jesus commanded in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost Matthew 28 :19 but also in the name of Jesus Christ as Peter commanded the Jews who had just crucified Jesus. Acts 8:14-18.

    • @realemonful
      @realemonful 2 роки тому

Hi Candice, I just got baptized last Sunday and I'm in my 40's. I will tell you this because I grew up with the knowledge of baptism and that is why I waited so long and that is why I will challenge you with this. Have you redeemed your sins to Christ Jesus and accepted him to be your Lord and Savior and do you want to get baptized to testify to people for why you decided to follow Jesus and show your faith in Christ? Those are the basics of baptism and that is why I waited so long but if you can confidently say yes to all of those remarks then I would say, find a church that does full immersion and ask to speak to a pastor. Because baptism is to testify that you believe and are a follower of Christ and as someone else already said, Jesus got baptized at the age of 30. He didn't need to because he was the son of God but he did that to set an example and it has been written in the Bible ever since, to follow Jesus' example, if you believe in him as your savior and chose to follow him then it is written to get baptized as Jesus did.

There is no need to baptize babies, so don't worry about that. Baptism is for BELIEVERS (babies can't believe) and for people who repent and want to follow Christ. It is for the remission of your sins and to receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) - it's the moment you're born again. So now, since you're an adult and want to follow Christ, you can get baptised to become a child of God.

The onus of Baptism is on God's work and his Word, not what men 'perceive' it to be. All this experientialism obfuscates the bare essence of faith. Sad. So many folks "get wet' over and over simply because they disbelieve God's initial promise in Baptism.

The scriptures tell us that if you believe and were baptised you are saved, if you do not believe you are damned. Re-baptism is in the Bible but is not necessary if it was done by full immersion after you believed. Peter told the Jews who had just crucified Jesus and would already have been baptised for remission of sins by John the Baptist Mark 1 :4-5 to repent and be re-baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins. Paul told the Ephesians who had been baptised in the way of John the Baptist to be re-baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus Acts 19 :1-7.

No one is saved before being baptized for the forgiveness of their sins. Acts 2:38-47. Baptism not only saves it also adds one to the church that Christ purchased with his blood. Acts 2:41-7, Acts 20:28. Baptism also puts one into Christ ( Galatians 3:27-28 where all spiritual blessings are in Christ Ephesians 1:3. The blood of Christ is contacted in baptism by the operation of God Colossians 2:12. Romans 6:3-5. These guys don’t have the biblical authority to rewrite and change God’s plan of salvation! They say that one is saved by faith alone, grace alone in Christ alone. That should raise a red flag for people because alone means by itself so we are not saved by anything alone. There’s not a scripture in the entire Bible that one is saved by anything alone!! Tell them to prove that statement with Bible not opinions! Christ commanded baptism: please read Mark 16:16. Peter teaches that baptism saves, please read 1 Peter 3:20-22. Every New Testament example of salvation included water baptism. Acts 8th proves that! These guys have adopted the Calvinist reformation theory of Saved by faith alone which came from John Calvin who was a member of a denomination ( also not found in the Bible) during the 1500’s reformation period! Faith alone was never taught before then. Please study your New Testament and first century writings like Celement of Alexanderia . You will see that this guys are false teachers. No one can be saved while still in their sins. We need the blood of Christ to cleanse us from our sins and the Bible teaches that that happens in water baptism. There’s not one verse that teaches that our one contacts the blood of Christ by belief only. If it’s faith alone then what happens to repentance and confession!? These are questions that these guys must answer! If they say yes that one must repent and confess then we are not saved by faith alone in Christ alone by the grace of God alone which after faith we need grace and after grace we need Christ so that statement is false according to their own doctrine!! How could anyone fall for that something that’s never found in the Bible! Last but not least, there were no denominations in the Néw testament. There was only one church (Ekklesia, the called out assembly of Christ) called out from the world by the obedience of the gospel, repentance and baptism for the forgiveness of sins and then Christ added those who were saved to his church that he oro( Matt16:18). The church is His body ( Ephesians 5:23-25, Ephesians 1:22, Colossians 1:18. There were no Baptist. Catholic, Lutheran, Pentecostal etc in Acts 2nd chapter! Those are all man made denominations and there’s no salvation outside of Christ!

It is not the Baptism that saves, but the Lord's Sacrifice and the Grace He does us accepting our SINCERE repentance and submission to Him, and this is THE BAPTISM OF SALVATION IN THE HOLY SPIRIT where is the Soul to be Saved by His Grace and mercy ONLY, toward our sins of which we repented.
The Baptism in water is instead for the BODY, all another thing. It can be as a baby and as a young/adult, and usually should follow the Baptism of Salvation to close the cycle, saving both elements of our being (Soul and Body).
So what is the baptism by sprinkles that the Catholic Church imparts on babies? A DEDICATION TO GOD of that baby, where family and community declare and recognise that baby to be of God and that they will do all to allow them to go on on their path with God.
The Confirmation later on is reaffirming/Confirming that dedication by the mouth of the direct interested, now mature enough to STATE TO THE COMMUNITY: YES NOW I CONFIRM I AM OF JESUS INDEED.
Now, in real cases. Baby is Baptised via sprinkling in the Catholic Church, they say for the Salvation of Sins..but..there is no conscious acceptance there, which eventually is in the Confirmation, but again, even at that point, wet, can be missing the KNOWLEDGE of God. Va knowledge, we mean the deepest one, not just Catechism, but relationship in 1:1, chat open-hearted that brought to repentance and life submission.
There has been all this when the baby was sprinkled? Probably not. There was this at the Confirmation? It might be, but what if that Baptism in Spirit for the Salvation of the Soul that comes with repentance and submission (to be BORN AGAIN) happens even years after the rationally mature Confirmation?
At that point, the Baptism in Water as an Adult (re-Baptism,) is due when and as felt as a necessity by the person to tell the Community their story of how the Lord made Himself known to a sinner and by His Gliry, Grace and Mercy Saved His Soul WHEN THEY SUBMITTED TO HIM ACCEPTING HIM AS THEIR ONLY LORD AND SAVIOUR.
By Submerging in water, the person declares POST Salvation of the Soul, to be abiding by the Holy Spirit and to be fully convicted to and by God. It is a presentation of a Miracle and how it changed the person giving them a new life: here I am telling you He made me New, convicted, dedicated, and in l❤️‍🔥ve.
In all this journey one can see how the situation of the person deeply changed from their sprinkling to their conscious willigness to be with and of God.
It is a process of growth that gives sense to sacrifices done along the way which are oart of the manifestation related to the experience of being a Christian.

    • @stefaniamirri1112

You should kneel for repentance of your sins, even deeper as a Minister; you should seek His Mercy and SUBMIT TO HIM, as you haven't done before if you sinned even as a Minister.
You need Salvation of Soul, for which you should ask. At that point, the Lord will look at your heart and you will melt at His eyes on you, ohh you will knee..and repent and wip like a baby, and submit as the Great Conqueror will have conquered your heart and Soul, and at that moment eventually, He will save you, and so only after the Baptism of Salvation in the Holy Spirit you will feel final to get baptised in water, washed away of your sinful past stating to your community to have sinned, repented, accepted and submitted to the Lord of Nazareth and to be NOW His trustworthy Servant Soldier.
