Ben, you just hit on why I despise the scooter trend. As someone who uses a wheelchair, we so very often these days can not get anywhere because people have just built a bike or scooter blockade across a sidewalk without a thought to anyone else having to get around it.
Also the weird thing about Lime Scooters (at least where I live in Australia) is they just sort of.. showed up one day. Someone came along and dumped them all over the sidewalks with no oversight or apparently any plan for maintenance or whatever. Sometimes without any permission. They're convenient and fun I guess but in a place with excellent public transport they just clutter up sidewalks and become eyesores.

I was so confused by this comment at first, because I thought someone had made mention of the Mayday Parade song of the same name. But now I understand. XD
A lot of cops in the US (at least in Texas) work side jobs as security for various places, they still get to wear their uniforms for some reason. I imagine those cops were off duty and just working their second job. The Whataburger in my town hires a cop to watch the place at night, since they are the only restaurant that stays open 24/7; he mostly just sits and watches UA-cam.
So I live in North Texas, and the common reasons why police would be holding doors and/or controlling traffic is due to safety reasons as well as having nothing better to do, as fire safety code is taken seriously in Texas, which entails not having too many people in one restaurant, as an overpacked restaurant is actually against the law. It's just for simplicity's sake and often times they're just bored.
I can't be the only person who thought that the Loading Ready Live logo was trying to break in at around 22:10 ...mostly thanks the blue lights from the firetruck.

Hey Graham, do you and or Adam plan on or are trying to see Jim Cornette at C2E2? I'm only asking because I know you guys a bit wrestling fans, as well as Cornette is going to be there for a few Panels and such. I'm assuming though ya'll will be too busy to be able to do so.
So for a more clear answer, it was probably assesed ahead of time by the business that it would be crowded, and rather than get slapped with a fine for breaking fire code, they asked if there is a PD or FD unit (looked like both were present) that could help regulate indoor traffic.
In the panel they said that they tried that, that volume is only set for when the switch is undock, where it then reverts to the previous setting once it's docked again.
Please for the love of God wear a helmet when you use those scooters and bikes! Your brain is so valuable, $50 for a helmet isn't the end of the world but falling and hitting your head could be.
