Wow! What a lovely reaction! I’m the model in the video. Thanks everyone for your unbelievably kind words and compliments ☺️ I love working with Crow’s Eye, they are most brilliant at what they do. They don’t just create videos, they create art!
@Ellie Pickering - You were a great model for this video. You are so correct about the quality of Crow's Eye Productions videos. An excellent collaboration.
Was she born with that color? It was very pretty but I wasn’t sure because her eyebrows and lashes were brown. But maybe it’s just the “gingers” I know that also had identical eyebrows and lashes.
It’s always a pleasure to watch a professional makeover artist who can transform a person with the bare minimum amount of products. Amazing work and beautiful actress, before & after.
Great historical makeup tips as always! The 1940s and 1950s are my two of my favorite decades from the 20th century. Can't wait for the rest of the Hollywood series!
I loved this! I would love to see something on Jackie Kennedy and her evolving looks. Also we need some Audrey and Grace in our world! Please keep doing this it is art!
I’m feckin’ OBSESSED with her videos. I not only learn new ways to achieve certain makeup and hair looks, learn about historical looks, but I also put her videos on at night when I go to bed because they’re the most relaxing to watch and listen to. Seriously, her voice is better than guided meditation and Xanax. Never stop making these.
Beautiful! Perfectly done hair and makeup, Liv. Ellie, you look gorgeous. I wish these times were back as far as the elegance and pride in one's appearance goes. It seemed to be a fun video for you both.
This was like watching a painting. It was so relaxing and interesting and you had me hooked through the whole video. You have a skill. I would love to see more! ❤️
Wow she looks so stunning and elegant!! Everything is on point! I'm loving the dark green dress and signature red lips, very suitable for Christmas dinner or glam holiday party 💛
You know, I always thought Lucille was a blonde in the show until someone told me her hair was dyed red 😂 also was sort of waiting for her to pull that face lucy does when she messed something up
And strangely also, one of her best friends, Ginger Rogers, was blonde. I think Ginger might also have had assistance but one colour she wasn’t was red in spite of her name (actually coined from really being called Virginia and a young cousin not being able to say her name and saying Ginya).
Hey Liv! I have that exact same green dressing gown you're wearing. I was watching and realized that sleeve looks very very familiar! Do you know much about it? I picked mine up in a thrift stores years ago and never could find any info online. Thanks! I love y'all's videos so much!
Fantastic idea for a series! As a fan of old Hollywood I am in love already. What a beautiful model and talented artist. Tasteful and accurate as always. Thank you!
Love all the episodes!! Beautiful hairand making along with some educationalinformation ! I have been watching them right before bed the last few nights, your voice is so soft and relaxing.
Fun story, but not sure if someone has mentioned it already in the comments. Lucille Ball shaved her eyebrows for a movie roll (I believe to play Roman slave) and they never grew back.
Not to take anything away from the makeup artist, but the model was already stunning first frame so. She started out looking like most people after their makeover.
absolutley love your videos! So natural, elegant and beautiful, you are a very talented artist and the model is absolutley stunning😍 before and after😁 keep your videos coming they are absolute works of art, each and everyone of them
I love your videos! I could watch them over and over again. I‘d love to see you do an Audrey Hepburn Look. That would be amazing, because I‘m a huge Fan of Breakfast at Tiffany‘s.😍
I am a brown lady with dark hair and eyes and I love my coloring but if I could choose any other coloring, without a doubt, it would be this gorgeous hair, eye, skin combo. She's stunning. Also, I discovered ILL in repeats like many others. I loved the show and always thought 'oh man, I wonder what Lucille would be/look like were she alive and younger now. ' It's so cool to see a bit of that through this model.
The hairdo is beautiful and you look gorgeous. In fact it is a way much nicer style than Lucy's. Her hair was much more forward on the brow and I always thought it very unattractive. But it was her trademark!
Oh wow, firstly Ellie is very beautiful. Second of for any Lucille fans, try watching the early Fred and Ginger films from the 1930s, she’s in lots of them and was a very close friend to Ginger Rogers. I love this channel, thank you so much and Merry Christmas 🎄 all! 😘
This was pretty cool, although I have hooded eyelids that look like a wide version of the East Asian double eye lid, so almost all of the eye makeup will disappear under skin. The model (Ellie?) is very pretty, and you chose great colours for her! (Edited for spelling.)
The description clearly states "to resemble". It's not supposed to be historically accurate. Pointing it out for the people that complain about everything.

furious guy thank you, that’s very kind ☺️

Most beautiful woman ever=Ellie Pickering.
You are stunning
I'm still fascinated by how make up and hair can make someone look a completely different person.
MichaelKingsfordGray so are most men’s performance in the bedroom. It’s give-and-take.
MEEEEEEEEE TOO!!! Absolutely astonishing what a great Hair Dresser and Makeup Artist can do.
The actress looks like an actual woman from the 50's, it's nuts
To Meme or Not To Meme gosh were women from the 50s not real? Or women now not real?
Women are women and have been all through the centuries.
@@dianeshelton9592 Read my comment again. And slowly.
Every episode is an educational ASMR of unmitigated beauty.
Yeeesss
Too true ❤️
Oh to be born with hair that color😍 I would never dye my hair ever!
Kissed by fire!
MichaelKingsfordGray from me ITS GORGEOUS ( maybe she’ll love it when she’s older)
Northern Light I had that when younger, didn’t appreciate it, now have faded to a sandy blonde. I have had to change all my clothes colours though.
Was she born with that color? It was very pretty but I wasn’t sure because her eyebrows and lashes were brown. But maybe it’s just the “gingers” I know that also had identical eyebrows and lashes.
@@brittniep9219 I'm a redhead and my eyebrows look brown. The girl in the video definitely looks like a real redhead to me.

oh my god she's so pretty wow

MizzKittyBichon me too, the styles from that time are so elegant. I’ve also always loved the 1900’s Gibson girl style
Edwardian 1900s are another favorite decade of mine!
The model has fabulous hair, love the up-do, so nostalgic.
The model is so beautiful! I love the look and the style of the 1950's!!
The models reaction made me smile, I loved the whole look and the end pictures!
omg the model is so beautiful

Beautiful look as always! Could you think about doing Veronica Lake or Lena Horne too?
Oooh seconded!
And Billie Holiday!
Exactly what I was thinking too
Beautiful model and wonderful tutorial!

Such a beautiful model. Grate video by the way.
Liv and Ellie are my two favorite’s on this channel. Liv has such a lovely relaxing voice and Ellie is so so pretty.
I’d absolutely love if you’d do a Audrey Hepburn look!
I love how the eyelashes of the model are so long that they create shadows, reminds me of Marilyn Monroe
I agree they were so pretty! But Marilyn's shadow was actually drawn on with pencil

@@happinessisabutterfly8471 Didn't know, thank you very mucho.
I saw this in my subscription box and I immediately had to click! I love these videos so much. thanks for making them!
You know, I always thought Lucille was a blonde in the show until someone told me her hair was dyed red 😂 also was sort of waiting for her to pull that face lucy does when she messed something up
Funny enough, Lucille Ball wasn't a natural redhead. She supposedly used henna to dye her hair.
Lucy definitely dyed her hair, she was a brunette. She went blonde first then settled on her famous red.
Lucille Ball was a blonde for a period of time.
She even poked fun at her henna rinse a few tiles in “I Love Lucy.”
And strangely also, one of her best friends, Ginger Rogers, was blonde. I think Ginger might also have had assistance but one colour she wasn’t was red in spite of her name (actually coined from really being called Virginia and a young cousin not being able to say her name and saying Ginya).
I love this. What a steady hand you have for your makeup applications. When I saw how carefully you applied that red lipstick I was rapt.
The model/ actress was gorgeous, I would kill to have that natural hair color!!
She looks gorgeous, Lucille would be proud! Excited to see what you come up with for the rest of the series 🥰
The model is sooo pretty !!!
Your model is gorgeous! Love her long red hair! ✌❤😊
Absolutely wonderful! The color of her hair with that dress! Simply stunning!
Hey Liv! I have that exact same green dressing gown you're wearing. I was watching and realized that sleeve looks very very familiar! Do you know much about it? I picked mine up in a thrift stores years ago and never could find any info online. Thanks! I love y'all's videos so much!
I’d fall asleep if I was on the production crew. Your voice is so relaxing Liv! Love all your videos !!
Please continue this series.
Well done. That late 30's through 50's style of Greco-Roman beauty/goddess inspiration and "modern" luxury is so impressive and beautiful even now.
Brilliant! You are so gifted! I hope we might see Joan Crawford (40s), Elizabeth Taylor (50s /60s) in future episodes.
Beautiful girl,and beautiful makeover.
I LOVED this video, and I hope you continue this series. 👍
Lucille Ball was a very beautiful woman. This model is as well.
This model is stunningly beautiful!
I love the Voice of Liv
BRAVA BRAVA BRAVA ELLE
RAVISHINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!!
THE CAMERA ADORES YOU!!!
Fantastic idea for a series! As a fan of old Hollywood I am in love already. What a beautiful model and talented artist. Tasteful and accurate as always. Thank you!
This video is so relaxing and your voice that "improvises" as well
Great Tutorial again and love that model, she's very beautiful
Even her hair spraying technique is relaxing AF!!
This is so relaxing better than asmr
Love all the episodes!! Beautiful hairand making along with some educationalinformation ! I have been watching them right before bed the last few nights, your voice is so soft and relaxing.
Her reaction is priceless!!!
Fun story, but not sure if someone has mentioned it already in the comments. Lucille Ball shaved her eyebrows for a movie roll (I believe to play Roman slave) and they never grew back.
Oh my goodness that's terrifying , poor Lucille 😳
Carliana Halterman the same thing happened to my great-grandmother in the 30s!
So gorgeous. Your voice is sooo soothing and the videos are always beautiful and informative. Love this. ❤️😊👍
Her hair is gorgeous!!!!!!!
The lighting is sooo good omg
Wish someone would do my hair like this it all looks amazing!!
An absolutely gorgeous look! That makeup is amazing! Well done!
She's a beautiful lady with gorgeous hair, seeing it contrast against the turquoise of y'all's dressing gowns at the beginning was so satisfying lol
That picture of Lucille Ball is Stunning!
Not to take anything away from the makeup artist, but the model was already stunning first frame so. She started out looking like most people after their makeover.
Thank you for this enjoyable tutorial. The look is beautiful on the lovely model and the stylist makes a great job 👌
The 40's and 50's were the essence of style and glamour. They will never be beaten.
absolutley love your videos! So natural, elegant and beautiful, you are a very talented artist and the model is absolutley stunning😍 before and after😁 keep your videos coming they are absolute works of art, each and everyone of them

I keep re-watching this video for its ASMR qualities.
This is very nice to watch. Beautiful as always
Why does the narration give me a bit of English female Bob Ross vibes? I love it
I love how relaxing your voice is, but it's genuine, not fakely relaxing or little girly like some people do on videos.
So enjoyable to watch!
I will never regret subscribing
Thank you for this! I have a 1947 evening dress pattern to sew and the hair on the fashion illustration is the same as this. Going to give it a go!
Great! We'd love to see the results!

Red hair is so beautiful
Your voice is so relaxing and nice
The hairdo is beautiful and you look gorgeous. In fact it is a way much nicer style than Lucy's. Her hair was much more forward on the brow and I always thought it very unattractive. But it was her trademark!

Forgeg all these ASMR videos, THIS is satisfying!!
Omg you are remarkably talented😍.. I'm in love of the way you've turned hair to look thicker..
Wow she has beautiful hair just as it was!
Just lovely. Well done.

This is wonderful and I love that dress!
I love it. Remember to never let your vintage hair be "see-through"
do MARILYN MONROE next pleaseeee
And Auburn Hepburn!
Allie Peters Nah, I know who you mean, to me she was the most beautiful classic Hollywood star ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻🌹🏴
Yes please
LOVE the dress!
I love this series so much! So inspirational and educational. I would love to know the exact products Liv is using here!
This is lowkey asmr, I am enchanted
She’s beautiful
That hair color is amazing 👌🏽
Those lips are perfect! All around amazing video ❤️
I love it, this is everything i never knew i needed!
The description clearly states "to resemble". It's not supposed to be historically accurate. Pointing it out for the people that complain about everything.
I want that dress!!!!!
Gorgeous!
Never knew u could curl hair with a straightener. When they do these tutorials, I wish they would say how long it takes to accomplish it.
Alli M. It really depends on the thickness of your hair if it’s like a C it will take longer but if you have A or B it probably would take ~30mins
It is tough also because she’s a professional. Anything I’d do would take longer... :/
Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are a beautiful model your red hair is pretty.loves the 💇 hair do.
An excellent vid. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, great job!
The model is very Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. She could step straight into a painting by Millais or Rossetti.
Yes I thought that too ! A Pre-Raphelite ‘Stunner’ as they put it in those days (sounds a bit creepy now though)
