So if you drop in blank markers into the timeline is there a way to then turn those into... like go+ sequence x, after the fact? I hear about people doing this but idk how (medium new to MA but brand new to TC)
Nobody say about different smpte signals of timecode. The light designer programming on a timecode genetad in riper. When hes receive the timecode from other source, grandma just not recognize. Same time, same specs. Very strange. Any thoughts?
Hello, my command line has been changed, now instead show me the USER/FIXTURE> it is showing me: USER@showdata/Livepatch/Stages/Stage 1/Fixtures> Anyone knows what is the shortcut to turn it back to the original?
Awesome content as ever! Cat, I've a question: is there a way to feed MTC into GrandMA3 onpc at this moment? I couldn't find the midi in/out menu on the software. Also I'm lacking that setting for the remotes... Maybe that's not yet implemented? Thanks!
Not natively implemented. You can use some third party stuff (but the creators of those programs need to support it- they aren’t MA products). Those options are in this thread: forum.malighting.com/thread/4831-midi-input-ma3-onpc/ Fair warning: I haven’t tried any of those options, so no idea on how well they do or do not work.
@@consoletrainer Thanks for your answer! I guess I'll try those options in the thread, or OCS, which is a really welcome addition to the soft, but I feel really clunky yet, could not get it to work 😥
Hello I have time code in the XML file from xlights aplication like this ua-cam.com/video/WDX0NXv31hQ/v-deo.html can you provides a XML file download link with time-code from grandma2 or 3. I will a compare this files with files from xlights aplication :-)
This is incredibly well timed. I'm working on a TC show with MA3 for the first time in 2 weeks. So thank you! Can't wait for part 2.
Hey, that's awesome!
Another Great tutorial! Time to Timecode!

Could you import an audio file and see the waveform? It would make life so much easier when trying to timecode around music.
