So now they're just competing against grocery stores? Time for towns to revoke some business licenses. They Unionized hellscapes anyway.
What would revoking their liscense do? Obviously we just need more groceries and comodities available for poor people, if not the dollar tree than some other way, food banks or something. People relied on this store
@@ivotedforbeanis8819 I understand you are ESL. But if you watch the report they clearly explained that the products that Dollar tree sells cost the same as products in a grocery store now.
Being cheaper than grocery stores was the only ethical thing they did. And of course they were doing it at a profit, they were not doing it out of the goodness of their hearts. Never mind the fact that the entire point of these stores is to be predatory towards local grocery store chains. Add predatory towards their employees as well. Not to mention that their products are subpar and deceptively marketed in such a way that many times the items they sell like soap and personal hygiene products are more expensive at Dollar trees than anything.
Taking away a business license just means that they would have to close. And legally not be allowed to operate anymore. Also the company has been under investigation for all sorts of illegal business practices for years. They made a promise to the community when they opened up to be affordable. When in reality they were doing with Starbucks does. Suffocating actual grocery stores that are unionized to take their place and then when the grocery store is closed down. They just raised their prices.

I haven’t shopped at the Dollar Tree since they raised prices the first time. The cheap items they sell in there aren’t worth it anymore.
They should just call their store……FIVE BELOW that’s how they price their stuff ‼️‼️

It's none of Dollar Tree's business who shops at their store.....rich or poor. They're in business to sell $1.00 products period. Sell, or get out of business!!!!
I don't even shop at Dollar Tree like that anymore. I'm really about done with that store. Honestly they need to change the name from Dollar Tree to the $1.50 and up store. They are a big joke😂

False advertising in the name. Some of these prices are cheaper in the company’s sister store family dollar. Dollar general even has cheaper items. Family dollar taking advantage of the popularity of dollar tree and now taking advantage of the misleading name.
Why should your customers pay for your company’s OWN poor financial decisions???
Raising your prices [in Dollar Tree stores] isn’t going to help offset the financial losses you’ve incurred from your purchase acquisition of ‘Family Dollar’…just sayin’
False statements are made here. The dollartree stores near me have always been $1.00 until last year when the price went up to $1.25. Most of the stores near me have not had the section where items were priced higher until recently.
