I think Hyundai has significantly stepped up their game. I've owned a 15 Pilot, 98 Camry and my mom has owned multiple civics and CRVs. Her last CRV had major transmission issues. My first Hyundai was a 22 Palisade and loved it. Switched it out for a 24 Sonata Hybrid since the kids were starting to leave the house and not really needing an SUV anymore. We got my oldest a new Elantra and he loves it. Way more "hip" than the other comparable models. Time will just tell how reliable Hyundai has really become. Knock on wood...zero issues with the 3 we currently own.

I got the sonata. I love it with the features it has. One mistake car connections made was the price on Camry to match sonata features are closer to 43/45 not 39. They have a base xse but there is a package you have to get similar features the sonata offers. The warranty I never have an issue with Hyundai honoring it. But with the bluelink for life was a major selling point for me.

This weekend, I traveled out of town and had to rent a car in Cleveland. The rental car lot attendant allowed me to choose any model of full-size car that I wanted. There seemed to be about 100 Malibus, and I didn't want one. I wanted a Camry, for I wanted to test drive the new one, but they didn't have one available. They had two Sonatas: 1 red one and 1 white one, both gas powered, so I took the white one. The car was well equipped with adaptive cruise, heated seats, power drivers seat, and wireless CarPlay. I thought it was a mid-trim level. When I got to my hotel, I went to the Hyundai web site and verified to my surprise that I had a BASE '25 model, stickering under 28K. This car felt far nicer than a base model - comfortable, quiet, composed, efficient, full of tech. Very impressed. It's understood - Camry's hold their value better and as hybrids they are more sophisticated. But for someone who just wants reliable and affordable transportation, the Sonata is a very stylish and impressive alternative.

I currently drive a 2021 Santa Fe Hybrid Limited and I have 63,000 miles on it. I bought it brand new with 12 miles on it. I love the vehicle so much. There is no body roll. The Hyundai dealership are not asking me to service much. I have spent only $ 250 on a 60K Service. When I had my 2008 Camry Hybrid, Toyota used to constantly tell me to service some part or the other, be it a brake flush, a transmission flush, etc. With Hyundai, no such request. I will be driving my vehicle until it dies. I also got a 0% finance for 60 months. I knew the price of the vehicle to the cent even before I got to the dealership. My encounter with the Finance person was about 10 to 15 minutes, signing various forms. The only question I was asked is if I wanted a 2nd car thanks to my high credit rating.
Our next car was a 2024 Palisade Calligraphy AWD. We love that vehicle too.

No hybrid Sonata for Canada - very odd. They said the Elantra has almost identical space UP FRONT compared to the Accord; and here the Elantra "sizing" is more popular than the Sonata - and I guess the true AWD in the base Sonata (which gets a bunch more features here - leather vented memory seats and so on) is more the client they are using that model for. It is true as Canadians have tended to buy one size smaller for comparable profiles. Interestingly - worth an "I wonder" - the K5 and the Forte were retired here with apparently the K4 replacing BOTH ... humm.

The 2024 Sonata Hybrid Limited does not, I repeat DOES NOT have a, “Home Link garage door remote” on the mirror!!
I LITERALLY have the car! It does NOT come with a remote button on the mirror! They removed that feature!
I don’t know why he said that in this video, either he made a mistake or just flat out lied, that’s why you can clearly see him just rubbing the mirror on the Sonata and not located or pressing any button 😂.
Other than that, nice video 😊!!
