LEGO Wind Tunnel Smoke Testing (Airfoil-Wing, Cross Section)

- So I’m not a fluid dynamics expert nor an engineer so we really don’t know what to take from this video but still, this looks a pretty cool. This video is actually pretty old almost 4 years old and we didn’t know much back then but it’s here. I made 2 designs and never really came through with making a full airplane mainly because it would be heavy. In the future tho maybe I could test how much lift it can produce compared to its weight.

😂 this is what happens when two dudes I left alone with a vacuum, Legos, and a vape
lol i was thinking about they were using a vape aswell lol
cherry rainbow flavor
@@madbrick923i wanna have bubblegum flavoured but my parents would kill me if they would know
Brandon Chappell flex tape
@@madbrick923 that's an easy way to burn up a coil an cotton.
mad brick?
is that you?
I see someone has had the same idea as me but better facilities. Wish I could see my aerofoil design in a wind tunnel.
Desk fan and baby powder in your kitchen should work well enough.
ISNOT1 thanks
dont make a mess
Mad Brick I’ll just make sure to do it in a large cardboard box.
i was like: hol up, who is this dude? why did i get a notification of his video? and they i saw it. mad brick, is this you?
Same lol
Apparently someone one reached out to him to change his username because mad brick was already taken by some company 🙄
@@rubennava5376 jesus man........some companies are real assholes.
How's it handle in hyper-sonic conditions?
id probably just tape it to a f16
Mad Brick hahah maybe mig-31
I’ve done some experiments with some of Lego’s helicopter propeller parts and designs. They spin and create lift surprisingly well. Put a fan motor underneath one of them once and it took off naturally. Always wondered what someone with more skill could do if a motor was integrated into the LEGO parts
the brick experiment channel built a drone. wish i was that smart
It's definitely producing lift. If you look at the vapor coming off the back of the wing at higher speeds you can see a decent low pressure zone above the airfoil. Great job!
cant you put something on the end of the smoke blower thing that makes the hole really small so its not a cloud but more a stripe of smoke
Cool!
Mad brick
Nice
Long Live Mad Brick
you need to angle the wing up a little to help the flow go over the top.
Why did you change your name? Love your content!
How did you made the wind tunnel? Searching how to make one cheaply
vape nation and a vaccum
@@madbrick923 HAHAHA
His homei whit the vape is getting soo buzzed
Lol it’s mad brick
You may think he's using the fog generator for the smoke but no
He's ripping fat clouds and blowing it into a tube
Lol i made the smaller one but it works 😂
make a lego plane that flies
What is a blowing the wing with?
cherry rainbow
Hi
Lego can fly mmmmm...
I'm not a fluid dynamics expert either. But the bottom is too flat. Try rounding out the bottom and see what that does?
The bottom is fine. It's working.
All jokes aside. Did you guys get high and vape some Legos with a hair dryer.
yea bro i vape
Mad Brick was much cooler.
yea for sure
