  • So I’m not a fluid dynamics expert nor an engineer so we really don’t know what to take from this video but still, this looks a pretty cool. This video is actually pretty old almost 4 years old and we didn’t know much back then but it’s here. I made 2 designs and never really came through with making a full airplane mainly because it would be heavy. In the future tho maybe I could test how much lift it can produce compared to its weight.

I see someone has had the same idea as me but better facilities. Wish I could see my aerofoil design in a wind tunnel.

I’ve done some experiments with some of Lego’s helicopter propeller parts and designs. They spin and create lift surprisingly well. Put a fan motor underneath one of them once and it took off naturally. Always wondered what someone with more skill could do if a motor was integrated into the LEGO parts

  • @Phil451

It's definitely producing lift. If you look at the vapor coming off the back of the wing at higher speeds you can see a decent low pressure zone above the airfoil. Great job!

cant you put something on the end of the smoke blower thing that makes the hole really small so its not a cloud but more a stripe of smoke
