Insane really when you think about it. Some people just waste their lives away and some people have incredible skills and make complex investments like a Les Paul! Amazing!
That’s definitely a labour of love … I love everything about this les Paul the colour the headstock the very being of this guitar well done that’s a fantastic achievement ❤
I did that at age 22 and it was very challenging as i had no experience. Back then there was no Internet and it was hard to find any meaningful information concerning the building of such a guitar. I was also lacking the ideal equipment to build something like this. It turned out very nice though, but it took me 11 years to complete.
Good morning, I noticed that at 8:02 of the video, the side frieze was glued in 2 parts to fill the entire space, at 19:11 you can see that it appears to be complete. I had to do this on mine and I would like to know what you did on the side trim to make it look like it was one piece. Thanks.
looks great! sound is probably due to the aged wood. Always has to do with wood. But at least this is a one piece and not 3 pieces glued together. Great craftmanship. How much?
I love the idea of routing the cavities and gluing on the top BEFORE bandsawing and routing the profile/edges. But how did you get the top to perfectly align with the bottom without having the edges as a reference? (So that when you lay the template on the top to drill holes for switches they're in the exact right place going into the cavities)
The round hole made the headstock look cooler than the original G-shape. Fantastic idea!!!
Now that is hand made. Beautiful work.respect.
That Tea burst is my favorite color when it comes to bursts. Looks awesome.
beautiful looking and sounding guitar you've crafted. I love that headstock design.
The top coloring is on spot. Gorgeous.
11:05, so very true about drilling the holes for the ABR-1 Bridge!
Great Content, Great Work/Craftsmanship, Thank You

Absolutely beautiful :-) Fantastic build and video :-) Thank you 🙂
Wow,I think Gibson could learn a thing or 2 here about build quality..
If they ever find themselves producing 2 guitars per year.
Gibson does make quality it just costs beyond what humans can afford
They'd put out a cease and desist. That's what Gibson is about these days.
SWEET!! GREAT JOB!!
That is a gorgeous guitar. Would love the have a hand built like that one. Great video.

The set neck (long tenon) make a huge difference on the tone and sustain.
so cool!
Thank you
色めっちゃ好み
WOW !! BEUTIFUL ❤
凄い!
Absolutely superb!

Man I want one 😮
Amazing work. You are a master lutheir.
Wizard woodworker

magnifique, splendide , combien elle coute ???
Dear, the name of the knife you're using to carve the neck heel and volute, is Kogatana?
Yes.japanese Kogatana.
wow nice
Why did the truss rod not fit snug into cavity ?
Doesn't that make it rattle when it's not snug and and hammered in !?
How can one order such a fine piece of art?
😍 She's Gorgeous ❤
great guitar !!! what colour and finish did you use ? i mean what product and manucacturer ..
Very nice guitar! Which colors did you use to stain body and top?
Stunningly beautiful. ❤
It's... It's art 🎸😍
Arigato! Number one ichiban!!!!
Fabulous
Nice axe
it's 2024. there has to be a faster and more accurate way to bevel fret ends by now than scraping with a file by hand.
Sensacional 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
nice
Absolutely fantastic
absolutely wrong with bad stuff second class material
Wonderful work! What’s the cost on one of these?
What kind of oils do you use? I am about to build my own guitar and I need sone advise
By oil, do you mean the oil you apply to the fretboard? If so, I use lemon oil.
@@nakagawaguitars4552 I mean the body
Amazing work, did you use any nitro lacquer over the oils?
No oil is used. Everything is lacquer.
21:00 I can see that maple top is not book matched (from pickup hole view). But overall very good work!
I’m thinking about building an lp body and was wondering if the front arching is necessary?
I think I'd go with a full Maple neck. Broken headstocks are a common thing with Gibsons. Would prefer to make sure that wouldn't happen.
its not so much the material, its more the construction (shape) why Gibson necks break
Do you build for customers or perhaps me????❤
not a fan of that headstock, but besides that it's a really beautiful guitar :) tea burst might be my favorite color now, looks amazing
