let me hitchhike your comment to provide some useful info. if anyone wants to make a budget version of this, i gotchu dw. u can buy the stuff from any generic garden center and/or hardware store. If u cant find it, the locations in brackets usually have this stuff materials: -superglue (Home Depot) -wooden box (Home Depot) -a small amount of pond liner (Home Depot) -earthen clay (Micheals, Home Depot, or you can just find mud outside with minimal wooden/rock debris "mud is just wet clay") -dirt without any artificial fertilizer (Home Depot, green acres, or outside. make sure there is no mulch) -dried sphagnum moss (green acres, home depot) -rocks (the authentic Japanese way would be to use elephant skin stone, maple leaf stone, or Okho stone, but you can just get rocks from outside) -gravel (outside is always best but Home Depot has good pea gravel. just make sure you wash it) -non-dyed microfiber cloth -a recyclable plastic container -a submersible mini aquarium pump (amazon) -a foot or so of acrylic tube, inner diameter must match the pump-outlet's outer diameter -moss (outside is best, gently rinse the peat of the moss before applying) instructions: 1. superglue the pond liner to the wooden box. trim any excess 2. place in your plastic container in the center. if it is higher than half an inch below the height of the box, cut it. 3. poke some holes in the plastic container with a screwdriver or a nail 4. fill the wooden box to half an inch below the brim with gravel. dont let the gravel get into the plastic box 5. prep your substrate by mixing dirt with sphagnum moss. cover to top of the gravel with a layer of substrate. the layer should be just thick enough to fill to the brim of the box 6. prep the water feature by attaching the acrylic tube to the outlet of the pump. put it into the plastic box at the center. highly recommend tesing the pumps flow beforehand and choosing a lower flow so the 7. decide how you want to configure your rocks to make the bottom part of the mountain. 8. place your rocks onto the box, and run the acrylic tube through a gap in the rocks 9. fill up the gap between the tubing and the rock with clay 10. fill any structural voids with clay 11. pile a bunch of clay onto the rock formation to cover the entire height of the tube 12. shape it into a mountain 13. cover most of the formation with the microfiber cloth, and make sure it covers the acrylic tube water feature 14. wait a few hours, maybe overnight for the clay to harden. 15. fill gravel with water (preferably from a creek or clear pond). don't let it reach the top layer of substrate for now, so you don't add too much. 16. plug in the pump's cable to a wall outlet. 17. rinse your moss 18. cut it up 19. place it onto the microfiber cloth gently nudge into fibers. maintenance: refill water when you hear the pump start to whirr. it will get moldy for a period of a week or so. leave it be, mother nature needs time. if anything is disorderly, give it time. it will heal, like a forest does.
So happy for the video. Thank you for sharing. I love hearing rhe sounds of building, but the music was lovely and neither overwhelmed the other. So beautiful.
This one is a masterpiece. Very well done ! I wonder it could be possible to create such landscape at various scales, for example using short moss as grass and Tree Moss (climacium dendroides or japanicum) to creates mini-forests. Also, I used your soil + silicone technique for one of my builds and it really works extremely well, really easy to work with to create incredible shapes. Apart from the smell of acetic acid due to the use of silicone ! :D
The wicking technique with the fabric is very clever. I would love to see a timelapse of growth! You are clearly very careful with them to get the moss to grow so well.

Hello Asu, you inspired me to make my own terrarium with a waterfall of water and mist. But I don't know how often I should keep the water running. I also have another question I used a soft and thick fabric to put the mosses on. And they sometimes smell as they are always wet. Do you have any tips for that? I really appreciate if you reply. Regards,

You are so ingcratable!!!!!😍😍
What fabric does he use to super glue the rocks together? 😮
bạn cho hỏi đã dùng những loại đất trồng nào? Công thức pha trộn như thế nào? Cám Ơn.
What music do you listen to while you create the mountain
Supongo que el musgo no será acuático, o tendrá que vaporizar con agua con nutrientes.
Beautiful XX
what did you mix with akadama to make that substrate?
The mix on beginning is Akadama Soil + mix terrain for planting ?
Good bro
What is this mixture?
Moss covering mountains
Containing spirits rather certain
Is that like dirt and black silicon?
Remember, the most important thing is The room must be air conditioned
How do you waterproof the inside of your wooden trays???
神様もこんなして地球作ってたらおもろいね
Thank you
Please describe what ingredients you used to make it.🙏
Bạn chọn chất liệu gì vậy trộn lẫn nhau rồi đắp lên đá vậy, thanks ❤

What is the second song?
How are you friend?❤
Мда, че творят демоны. Это просто эпично!
It's 4:30am here, and I don't need to get inspiration and start working on a plant setup
😀
What is that song???
I always wonder how much something like this costs $$
