I cleaned up the local fishing spot ! $100+ in lures

After months of trying to fish this spot, it was just getting worse by the day. There was fishing line everywhere. I removed well over 500' of heavy mono, steel leaders, 50# braided line... it was a mess, but now from one side to the other, all of the tangled up lines i could reach got pulled out, rolled up and hauled off. I also found over $100 worth of lures including some really nice ones you will see at the end! thank you for watching, and when you go fishing, pick up after yourself but also what others are to lazy to get themselves.

Much respect for cleaning up local waterways. I'm just now getting into fishing and I'm noticing the same kind of stuff in my local fishing spots. I've been attempting to clean them up handfuls of trash at a time. Caught a really nice bass off a pink worm I picked up. Amazing feeling to know I'm doing my part. Keep up the good work.

Thank you, it had gotten so bad there you couldn't cast in any viable spots. Any long casts would get snagged on retrieval! It took me over 4 hours and I pulled hundreds of feet of line out. But I found some really nice lures, and nice hard baits ! It's always worth it.
