The reason is that shad is present and it is a great bait to use in order to target bigger game fish species like, Garrick, Salmon, GT's, Queenfish as well as other surf fish like Pompano, Grunter etc.
So one has the place to stay, one has the time frame, now one needs to know where to fish.
What is paramount is that, one must do homework to see where the best spots are.
Seeing that one can fish from the main beach left up to first rocks and also south, from the main beach to Maphelane bay or even cray fish point when the mouth is closed, one can see that its a 20km odd stretch of beach.
There is no beach driving and as such, one has to maximize your fishing trips.
Fish tend to feed well early mornings and late afternoons.

At Jabula beach there were no formations and a pumping North Easter wind will cause gully wash which will prevent you from fishing the area.
Then we had Ingwe beach, which had a nice gully present, later in the video one can see that the gully is long and deep and thus, it would be the better spot to fish out of the 3x listed places.
