Don't run yourself into the dirt my friend. Finding good narrators on UA-cam who aren't just doing generic ask Reddit threads is difficult. Ones that read hfy are pretty rare, and it's awesome to find one that's good at it. BTW good nachos, and the fajita style street tacos.
Pollo burrito is my favorite I really miss being a part of band in high school. Some of my best memories. It would be interesting to see his thoughts on Marching Band. Now that could devolve into chaos if something went wrong. Unless your the 2015 SVHS Marching Band at the Davis Cup. Then the show goes on even though the lights cut out in the middle of your show. So proud of those kids.
As always, great work. I'll probably wait to listen to chrysalis until you finish with it since it's only 10ish chapters, can't wait though, that one is a great story. If you ever run out of content to read, there's a bunch of stories on a site called royal road and some of those authors are open to having people read their stuff.
This takes me back to the best of the Golden Age. Too much of the other r/HFY stuff is heavily weighted towards the military. That emphasis should always be balanced by somethig creative from the humans.
Any issues in this let me know. The ending was torture to listen to as i had to fix a few things there. I hate your zren, i hate you and your food recommendations... making me all hungry and getting fat. But nachos are delicious so i forgive you.
@@tacticalmarsupial6201 you either stalk my social media or just have good taste, cause honest to god that’s what I had last Sunday (and Tuesday, I live in Scotland)
Hm... I think there is something a bit disingenuous listening to the story, about the aliens failing to have large cooperative musical performances. That the aliens lack it entirely or mostly is... odd I think. Doesn't have that ring of truth. There was a podcast I started listening to, which had a clip of one of the folks who suggested we look and seek to understand music as something vital to our survival. I wonder if that vitality comes with the cohesion and ability to work together, and cooperate towards a common task. A baseline level of cooperation required to build the complex systems of technology we rely on today, and certainly a future scifi world would require. ... also interestingly, something we as a society kinda lack these days. Public or group singing doesn't happen. Our cultural ties to one another within a nation are deteriorating because who's writing the kind of music that we can bind together over? There was a nice article in Art of Manliness. Tangent over.

A death man makes beautiful music, and yet it is the ones that can hear that makes nothing more than sounds.
