Lumina's Blessing: Infinite 400% Class, Melee, & Grenade Regeneration | Solar Warlock | Destiny 2
Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 чер 2024
- Lumina and Boots of the Assembler received a crazy indirect buff this season because of the recent changes to Ember of Benevolence. This Solar Warlock build left us pleasantly surprised and with the new buffs to hand cannons in Season 22 it's well worth taking advantage of the constant ability regeneration and 35% damage bonus that Lumina's Blessing can provide.

Subscribed for how clean your videos look alone, real good stuff my guy
Thanks for the sub!
Gotta try this build again.
Before Solar 3.0, Lumina+Boots was my favourite build for raids, however last year something changed with the 3.0 update and it never felt the same to me.
This build is looking crispy and as always the editing is smooth
Thanks G
Fun fact, when using lumina, boots of the assembler's spawn a noble round every time the boots orbs heal a teammate
Lumina and Assembler are connected both lorewise and exotic synergy wise
Amazing build btw
That's awesome and very helpful to know!
I've been playing around with all sorts of solar support build lately and this one looks great. Definitely going to give it a try
Try it out and let me know your thoughts
what a nice display of info and notes appearing through the video. imma try this tonigh with my clan, trying a true support warlock.
The Lumina buff is great for damage phases, pop the noble rounds on the teammates to give them free damage boosts
Cleared my second GM ever with this build thank m you so much!
LET'S GO!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
It's still possible to obtain but you'll have to purchase it from the kiosk in the tower, The Monuments to Lost Light kiosk
Your editing style is so clean
Appreciate that, I work hard to make each video have a strong presentation style
My Warlock is gonna be getting a lot of love on my days off this week ❤
Thank you, CoT!
No problem, always here to help you out
I havent even watched the video yet but just wanted to say that the thumbnail and editing are absolutely peak
I just want to say that I deeply respect your opinion as a fellow cc, appreciate the recognition and support.
pair the idea of benevolence and lumina with starfire for a dps rotation, could be really good to have constant regen on grenade
Heal clip also works if you dont want to use lumina, i personally rock abyss defiant with heal clip
@@MikeRodicyeah but u don’t get kills during dps phases
Yeah, I've been always keen, since Vow of the Disciple, to use Lumina in my DPS Rotation for the bait and switch, making sure to empower teammates, I'll give this a try next time I'm raiding and see how it goes, maybe on Ir Yut
I main Lumina and Boots of the Assembler as a support Lock, and the additional info that I wasn't aware of really helps. Thank you.
Btw, Lumina and Boots of the Assembler are fun in other subclasses too. Just in case you wanna get spicy and mix it up.
Glad I could help, Initially wanted to do this for Stasis Lock but I'll wait to see what changes are coming next season for Stasis
try running ember of ashes (pretty sure thats the increased scorch fragment lol) with celestial fire and incendiary grenades in pvp, you can wombo for instant ignition and if you have scorching ignitions it can snowball for a team wipe in 6's lol. Bonus is that since Incendiary gets no benefit from touch of flame you can use both of the movement aspects
Thank you, gonna keep this in mind to test out soon in my practice 1v1s, I like this off-meta solar builds, used to run the Rain of Fire + Vex build and loved it in pvp
My man's is PUMPING these builds out lately lol
The grind never stops
Your approach to building is very surgical . Each SPEC has it's sole purpose and once set. It works like a fine tuned machine. My builds are so solid now.
You need anything else, just let me know pimp, join the discord and I'll answer if you ping me
Thank you, I love Boots of the Assembler but no one seems to use them. This build looks like its going to be so fun to try out.
I think they're being slept on fr fr
I stopped using them when I realized that they only work when players are in your fireteam, otherwise it doesn’t produce any orbs. And I thought I could help patrol blueberries do their stuff but nope 😂
@@tsadriu7861lumina won’t but the exotic boots will work. You can die in the tower with the stag on, then before you respawn put on boots of the assembler and it’ll constantly stay and send seekers to randoms in the tower
@@gengarclefairy3475 The boots don't work on players that are not in your fireteam. You can go and test it in the EDZ, Cosmodrome or anywhere, they won't seek out for players.
Such a fun way to play. Cheers for the vid.
Cheers
One of my favorite Builds, that i have forgotten about due to Starfire and Sunbracers ;) I'll give it a go again next time i log in!
Solar has a lot of builds that are strong right now, hop in the discord and let me know how it feels compared to starfire/sunbracers after you have some time with it
I prefer Osmiomancy Gloves loadout with Lumina. You have 40% damage buff by Whisper of Rending plus 35% damage buff by Blessing of the Sky by Lumina so 89% damage buff total against frozen enemies (1.40 * 1.35 - 1) * 100 (percent).
Whisper of Hedrons will provide extra mobility , resilience and recovery to get the Remnants.
Boots of the Assembler and another rift based exotics have the issue to stay in rift and there are several activities with enemies throwing grenades a lot so keeping stand up several seconds in the same place is a disadvantage
I'm impressed 😁 that's actually a really cool idea, mind if I take it for a spin for a video?
@@D2CorridorsofTime feel free.
I see you added a gameplay loop for this build video! I don’t know if my comments on the previous video is the reason for it but I really appreciate it. As always, great video. Your explanation are really clear, timestamps are on point a easy to follow. Yo go in-depth on every stats boost for every mods/fragment/aspect, which the game don’t even tell you about. So yeah, another great build to try out this week. Keep up your good work, always a great day when one of your vids comes out
I did, I know my format(s) are always changing and don't regularly stay with one style but for this style I'll make sure to keep it in.
Just tried it. OMG. This build is now my favourite solar build. I’ve been abusing my sunbracers two seasons ago and ditched solar warlock since. This build make me feel like a true healer and I like it and I think I’m gonne stick with it for this season.
pretty much what i do with starfire, except I've also implemented a heal clip weapon into the mix if I don't wanna rock lumina or so
Yes, both have similar fragment setups, I'm looking forward to see heal clip on more weapons
@@D2CorridorsofTime u should see my comment on ur startfire build, just posted.
@@D2CorridorsofTime yeah, very disappointing that it isn't on the nightfall bow, that'd be insanely strong
I love how I’ve been running this since literally day one of even BOTA came out and now you starting to see a build on them
You're an OG Boots enjoyer, that's valid
Starfire with the same build can be more offensive. Two nades + getting your rift back fast because of mods and team sitting in your rift and radian from benevolence. Support is good, but you definitely want some damage in case your teammates screw up and you buy yourself somehow.
True! True! Starfire / Lumina / Benevolence, a perfect blend of support, damage, and ability regen
Nice breakdown, really wish I'd hung onto my set of Boots of the Assembler! Lumina wasn't particularly great, HC's in general weren't particularly great, wanted to MW another Exotic... Now Solar 3.0 is more fleshed out, Lumina is better, HC's in general are better & can I get a pair of the Boots? Nope! 😑😄 Not spending 3 Golfballs at Rahool to get a pair either, they're something I'd like to make use of but I can begrudgingly wait haha.
It's a shame that HC's are Overload this season with LMG's. I'm hoping for a season I can cover all 3 Champions with a HC, Fusion & any Heavy tbf but LMG is always the more Ammo efficient option.
Earned yourself a new sub good sir!
Thank you for the new sub and also, if you ever need help with more GMs to farm a new pair of boots go for the link in the description for the discord, we wouldn't mind helping you out.
@@D2CorridorsofTime Sounds good! I have a few people I play with regularly but I'm England, one's Aussieland & the others are U.S so organising that can be quite the headache haha!
Just hit me up in the discord, some nights I'm a zombie@@pirate_duck4985
Good video.
thanks for the support @hypyo
Do the artifact mods make or break this? Or would you say it’s usable in n season of the wish
It's been viable from the very start and it still gets solid use in everything from Warlord's ruin to pantheon, the artifact mods don't do much for this because it's a kinetic weapon, benevolence is the key to this whole build
@@D2CorridorsofTime yeah I’ve been playing with it in legend onslaught and it has been very solid at keeping people alive. Only sad part is I’m pretty sure the tracking on lumina is bugged on invis hunters
Is the bow you're using in this video Tyranny of Heaven? I don't have that weapon yet. Can you suggest any alternatives?
Yes it is, good alternative is to focus the vanguard bow either strident whistle or pre astaynax
@@D2CorridorsofTimeI checked, and no other energy weapon has both incandescent and dragonfly. I’m a solo player who doesn’t have enough time for raids, so I would be only be opening the two secret chests in Last Wish. Do you have any suggestions?
If you absolutely want that combination then that's most likely your best option or wait for the week that Last Wish is in rotation; farm just the first encounter with the help of the new Fireteam Finder coming in Season 23.
You can just be on Well of Radiance or Golden Gun, all you need to do is step on plates until it's time for damage and then Well in the middle of the arena or pop a Star-Eater Scales Golden Gun and damage the boss. (Use linears for DPS because the boss takes extra crit precision damage; no Divinity)
When it rotates back around, hit me up on discord and I'll get us a group going@@joshuadonnelly1563
@@D2CorridorsofTimeI’d be happy to add you on Discord!
Imo catalyst makes it soo good especially in harder raid modes
I wanted to leave that as a way with the video for them to sort of think about it on their own, but I do agree
An amazingly strong healer build provided that the player understands that the majority of their time is to heal/buff team mates and not slay out. This build requires the user to be incredibly selfless: putting the team mates needs ahead of your own. But in doing so, its possible to essentially consider your Well as an another rift as it will recharge extremely quickly.
This one in PvP with someone with an Auto Rifle is just evil. And yes, that I have tested
Also in PvE I really enjoy this with Phoenix Protocol in harder content like gms, as you are getting your well back even faster. Pair that with the dive class ability and you've got a real fast super regen
I am just so happy bungie brought this back. It was one of my most fav builds back with middle tree dawn, to get abilities for helping, now solar is even better and I love it. It really encourages gunplay, especially when you have healing nade and phoenix dive
I never knew Boots of the Assembler synergizes with Ember of Benevolence
Is this any good for solo content?
If you're running solo you're better off on Sunbracers, Rain of Fire, or Starfire, check out the Starfire build on my channel if you want solo solar warlock
LOL I’ve always used this build. 😂
Solid build, you're on point
I LOVE LUMINA🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ong 🗣️🔥🙏
Doesn't ember of searing grant melee energy and not grenade energy?
Also creates firesprites which give free grenade energy
@@D2CorridorsofTime ty for the clarification
This is a great build.BUT. Loose the dynamo and distribution. Dont run up to something and try to stick a rift in a bad spot. Instead use at least 2 utility kiskstarts. 100 recovery and benevolence will let you have infinite uptime on rifts. Put them in a good spot and stand in it. Let the boots of the assembler do thier thing. Also you dont NEED lumina. You could use it with similar results with something like wishender, which is goated. I assure you we are not in a lumina meta.
yeah, I think running a heal clip weapon (igneous or abyss defiant ideally) would be a suitable replacement for lumina. probably gonna try something similar as a support build for my hunter but more centered on radiance and gunpowder with a little healing thrown in
Running this build with a Div on a raid would be awesome
One day people will know the difference between “loose” and “lose” lmao
@@Benelli07lumina is better on the vast majority of bosses
I personally prefer to run a dynamo mod. Irrespective of intentional or not, you will end up putting down a rift near enough by enemies to proc the mod. Whether it was done defensively as a panic rift or offensively to solidify a foothold when a team mate pushed forward. Might as well make all those off-hand uses pull double duty.
But that's just me.
This build makes me sad because of how it is a shadow of its former self
I'd argue it's more flexible than previously, you can build a hybrid of ability spam and support, or go all in with healing and radiant on your fireteam. I do miss floating around with healing nades though lol
@@nathanflinchum1153 it's flexibility versus being able to spam rifts and healing grenades with how benevolent dawn used to be before solar 3.0
@@Arakamira I remember, but with boots of the assembler these days you don't need healing nades if you wanna just run touch of flame solar or fusion nades, you still spam just as much healing but you also can give radiant and cause ignitions and whatnot. the effectiveness of benevolence does pale to benevolent dawn to be sure, but there's a lot of stuff you can do with it still, even on hunter and titan
Aren't the boots bugged?
How so?
the empowerment rift is only 15% dmg
that is correct for pvp, pve is 20%
I love how people start using these builds after Bungie "made them better." Now everyone is like we need to use these, they are so awesome, blah blah blah. I was using combos like these before they were cool. Players trash talked me constantly because of, "how sh$ my build is," or "you shouldn't play this game because you builds suck." Now everyone wants use it. It's good to see other players finally understanding the potential.
I go through this all the time, you don't think I get push back every day and almost every run of a GM with the community, it's a hive mind out here
@@D2CorridorsofTime Hope you didn't take my comment the wrong way. I was complimenting you. There are so few of us that go against the grain, me and you are among the few who can complete sessions with "outlandish" builds. Keep up the good work.
I didn't take it that way at all, just backing up/supporting what you said, it's true though, takes time for certain builds to register in the community and then the general consensus is that it's good to use, look at Phoenix Protocol this season, makes me wonder if people just now discovered what it does or the Mandela Effect happened and people forgot it existed. Thank you, stay true to the craft, appreciate you
@@D2CorridorsofTime I will, funny that you mention Phoenix Protocol. Using Ticcus Divination and Phoenix Protocol is my favorite combo.
The biggest problem is, you have to play activities wearing the ugliest fucking chest piece in the game...
