@@Chilloutandwatchanime both bands are the kings of slam imo. IV coined the term tho. Internal Bleeding have that NY style Slam, and Devourment have that signature Texas style that manyyyy bands ripped off of. Slam wouldn’t be the genre it is today without both bands.

The fkn change from the intro to Anointed in Servitude gives me goosebumps.
Billy and Chris actually came to my house in Freeport. They connected with my guitarist at the time and came all the way from out east, it was pretty awesome
Chris and Billy are huge influences on me.
I used to see them at the Roxy often and as far back as the Wallace days.
They were always the band I most looked forward to seeing.
Around that time the NY hardcore and death metal cross-over shows started happening and that’s basically what shaped my musical taste. It also made for the SICKEST PITS any one has ever seen period.
This vocalist is perfect!!!!
One of the hardest bands ever. Love seeing em get moshed to like this. I got my A*s shoved for throwing some slam dancing last time they were in Minnesota ... some random old timer metalhead wasn't having it haha! Everyone should absolutely swing, stomp, and spin kick during IB.

Because karate is the only time pits get violent? Non slam/core based death metal pits can easily be more intense than some people swinging away in an open area. As long as the crowd has an idea what to expect at a show, so less people actually get hurt, people can enjoy themselves however
