    Example: A flow measurement system comprising of an orifice plate has an input of 0 to 100 Inches WC representing a flow of 1 to 200 L/S. What differential pressure is required to increase the flow range to 0 to 300 L/S?
    Square Root of Revised DP= (Revised Flow)/(Existing Flow) *Square Root Of Existing DP
    Square Root of Revised DP = 300/200 *√100
    Square Root of Revised DP = 1.5 * 10
    √(Revised DP) = 15
    Revised DP = 〖15〗^2
    Revised DP(URV) = 225 Inches WC
    Square Root of Revised DP= (Revised Flow)/(Existing Flow) *Square Root Of Existing DP
    Square Root of Revised DP = 0/1 *√0
    Revised DP(LRV) = 0 Inches WC
    For Flow Range: 0 L/S TO 300 L/S= Differential Pressure Range: LRV = 0 Inches WC
    URV =225 Inches WC

    Hi. Thanks a lot for the existing calculation. how much i change the DP and mass flow for DP type FT if the existing one is 0-2500 mm h20 and 6000 kg/hr. Can i change this DP upto 0-15725 mm H20 and 15000 kg/Hr?

    I wired todaY my first model 230 barometric senser got abit confused as to what the units purpus was .like was it a voltage unit or a current unit at first me thinking 3 wire but no 2 wire instead sendi g the current 1 direction

    Mr., How to know flow range a DP transmitter on name plate DP range is 0 to 2500 mmH2O, then data engineering they have for flow range is 0 to 243 m3/h.
    I just want to know how to make that flow range to be like that, i.e 0 to 243 m3/h?

      It all depends on your process. In this example, system creates differential pressure of 2500 mm H2O at 243 m3/h flow rate.
