Great video, Morph. You've reinforced my opinion that CIG adding subscriber gear to the loot tables is a good thing by reminding me that I haven't worn my sub gear in a long time out of fear of losing it. This was a good reminder that it's okay to wear your semi-rare stuff because there's always a chance you can find it again out in the wild. o7
For the very first time in some 6 years of keeping up loosely with the project, I'm starting to finally get that "items are *starting* to have value" feeling. It's short-lived right now, because even these wrecks will get stale pretty fast, but it's a nice start for sure. It's also a great beginning to actual exploration gameplay, which was shown through a community poll, to be the most wanted gameloop. Ok, so likely wishful thinking here, but if CIG could find a way to take all the different ship's wrecks they end up with in the end, and find ways to procedurally scatter them across the game, so that they can't be researched online easily, that would be fantastic. I'm no game designer, but that just simply doesn't seem possible. Not with everyone on a shard sharing persistent elements/locations in that same shard. Will the wrecks be salvagable to a point they simply disappear offscreen when no one is around? If so, what if people never leave? Will new wrecks show up procedurally while we all play? Will player wrecks be a thing? If so, surely they wouldn't persist, even if crashed "gently" right? Plus, there's no good way to get the bespoke feel of handcrafted wreck sites, and the internet would obviously find ways to try and break the game with endless player wrecks. I don't know, but it's a nice start for sure.
Most of the items you can now sell to the relative shops, so i agree, items have monetary value in game now. These type of loot boxes are in other places across the game world too, except they slightly differ in contence.
yay finally a reason to lug out my rover and hide my ship in a valley for adventuring. its gonna be fun bringing the crates onto my ship and supply the Armory for bunker missions
I am "playing" on a 2011 CPU and 2016 1060. In landing zones I often have a slide show. At places like these, I can manage well enough but I am constantly lagging. I am also waiting for that next gen from AMD and Nvidia so I can purchase.
I don't get why people don't subscribe to these channels. I knew Morphologis and other content creators from back in the day, and once I discovered a video of them I instantly wanted to know when new things were arriving. I don't know, it seems crazy to me that only 1% is subscribed, it's mental.
i may not actually watch the whole video with my eyeballs Morph. But just for this video and the generous offer of the locations at the beginning, you get a thumbs up, a comment, and ill be at least listening to the end. I'd give you a sub, but i did that a while ago! I've always wanted to find some of these, but with my current work situation, when i DO get a chance to play I'm usually doing helping a friend with something or end up on a different game. A very Healthy Salute to Ishtaunt and Themanonmars for their diligent work as well!
If you want to save a little on prep, hit up any of the planet landing sites. You'll usually find at least one box with multitools and tractor beam heads for them, as well as food and water.
A couple of those little blue boxes and I've got food and drink in my local inventory to feed multiple servers! Found a quicksilver multitool yesterday too!
I usually just keep checking missions for specific wreck types. I've found a couple of the Cat wrecks that way. Taking a 100 series ship is a good idea, as there's no worry about running out of hydrogen. Most important is to take the tractor beam attachment and a multi-tool; last time I went, I'd forgotten mine, but found one on site. Sometimes those crates can be accessed, even if you can't actually get into the same room, simply by being in activation range.
@@Splincir prior to refuelling implementation, many ships had it temporarily. Now only select ships. 100 Series apparently has some super duper efficient Origin proprietary fuel scoop.
I watched this for a few minutes. Stopped and got online. Made a loop around New Babbage cause I'm always lost. Got geared up and made my way to the port. Successfully got my ship and rolled out. Made it to landing point without issue, things are looking good. Sit in seat for a second to question how this will play out, fuck it. Open door and hop out of ship. Instantly dead. I quit.
ive had a bounty (npc bounty) thats brought me there a couple of times now, had no idea there was rare stuff you could find there!! i found some crazy green sniper rifles that have "venom" in the name at the orison raids last night, as well as a red and gold c54, those red loot boxes have all kinds of stuff in them!

Bonus, if you leave your mobiglass and open it again, the 'destination' will still be here, so after clicking on it once, you just have to press f2 and look at the top right.
the hangar opening scene at 1:13 is amazing. they should jut have a cnimatic camera button that smartly gives you movie quality views in one click :D (of course you can always set your own camera favorites to the numpad too)
Nice, I'm not one who will spend time running around looking for em and I don't enjoy wreck diving much either. Got sick of the Investigate find bodies missions, but if I happen upon one maybe now I'll give it a try.
I've done boatloads of bunker missions and the amount of special skinned weapons is pretty low, and ive never seen a single special subscriber skin pistol. Probably the most common are multi-tools with 3 or 4 "rare" skins, and then A03 snipers with a few that weren't purchasable in game even when snipers were at shops before 3.17 Definitely gonna go check some of these out today =)
Loving the channel! Even though they're still in development, would you consider sharing your opinions on the Polaris, the Perseus and the Appollo please?
I still kinda think the hot and cold suits are switched, all that insulation on the heat suit would be perfect in a cold environment, and the sealed metal liquid cooled looking suit would work well in a hot one
I did this mission with finding missing person, was a lot of fun doing puzzles, just need a lot of time. Found the Wowblaster toy pistol which is actually the coolest thing I've found. Didn't see the Yubarev pistol
Yela, from ArcCorp Mining 157, take a heading 126.6, distance 42.0km, when you're on top of derelict, turn around and look at mining 157, it is in 306.6
Maybe they can now move on to actually fixing the missing crew missions and all the other bugs that plague the game that have gone without much care for years :)
I hope at some point these wrecks become more dynamic, like ships actually crash and create new wrecks, and players/NPCs can salvage wrecks on the planets and get rid of them. This way there aren't just 12 in the verse that players can look up where they are and keep going back to them.
I rapidly decided one of the most useful things you can find in these wrecks is the boxes themselves. You can use them to organize your loot onboard or take them into locations that don't have portable boxes to make looting easier.

This was a good reminder that it's okay to wear your semi-rare stuff because there's always a chance you can find it again out in the wild. o7
im new guy at star citizen. im like 2 days old and. you earned a new subscriber today :D
god damn good ass timing, I was just looking for something to do
For the very first time in some 6 years of keeping up loosely with the project, I'm starting to finally get that "items are *starting* to have value" feeling.
Yeeees! That was awesome! Thanks, Armco frendos!
yay finally a reason to lug out my rover and hide my ship in a valley for adventuring. its gonna be fun bringing the crates onto my ship and supply the Armory for bunker missions
The more videos I consume - the more I want to experience the game. Waiting on computer parts is agony.
Same.
I bought a new SSD just for this game so I feel ya.
I am "playing" on a 2011 CPU and 2016 1060. In landing zones I often have a slide show. At places like these, I can manage well enough but I am constantly lagging. I am also waiting for that next gen from AMD and Nvidia so I can purchase.
ı'm really happy to see that we can finally start to watch some "looting" videos. Nice work CIG! o7 ☺️🙏🏻
Great job! Very informative. Hey I'm in the 1%!!
I’ve flown with Ishtaunt before, he’s a real legend. Might not be in the org proper, but the Armco discord is a magical place.
I’ve found one of these by chance , now I’ll do it on purpose. Thanks!
I hope these get randomized somewhat in the future using quanta to create new wreck sites and salvagers able to completely clear others.
Sweet. Now this game even gives me something to do on days when I don't feel like grinding or if I'm waiting for refinery orders to complete
Hey Morph thanks for that heads up on the notification bell, I thought I had clicked it but I guess I didn't
You do the best content...I enjoy watching your videos more than I enjoy Star Citizen.
The 1% Has Spoken. I'll admit it. I usually skip that bit! Lol. Great Job! Keep up the great work!
Slowly but surely this game is coming together nicely!
I don't get why people don't subscribe to these channels. I knew Morphologis and other content creators from back in the day, and once I discovered a video of them I instantly wanted to know when new things were arriving. I don't know, it seems crazy to me that only 1% is subscribed, it's mental.
I was wondering how to find these places, thanks for the video!
i may not actually watch the whole video with my eyeballs Morph.
Morphologis you and your mates are the best!
THanks for that awesome informations
If you want to save a little on prep, hit up any of the planet landing sites. You'll usually find at least one box with multitools and tractor beam heads for them, as well as food and water.
A couple of those little blue boxes and I've got food and drink in my local inventory to feed multiple servers! Found a quicksilver multitool yesterday too!
Well Done. You ol’ space dog. Ar’ those be genuine treasure maps.
Complete with dotted line, heading, and number of paces.
Yeah poerfect, i researched today where to find more valuable stuff. Thanks for that !
Wait what? Fuel scooping is in game? Any other ships have that feature yet?
@@Splincir prior to refuelling implementation, many ships had it temporarily. Now only select ships. 100 Series apparently has some super duper efficient Origin proprietary fuel scoop.
@@Anachroschism does the 300 do it?
@@Splincir I dont recall which do and which don't, sorry. Only remember the 100 Series and base Starfarer.
@@Anachroschism thats cool. I had no idea it was working in game. Thanks for the info.
Love the ship reviews!! Please please please review the avenger titan and cutlas black!!!!
I quit.
Does anybody else enjoy his voice as much as me
Calming
And also sophisticated I a way. Professional. Familiar.
I watch, I subscribe, I hate the spam from the bell
Thx for the guide will try to keep an eye out for these
ive had a bounty (npc bounty) thats brought me there a couple of times now, had no idea there was rare stuff you could find there!! i found some crazy green sniper rifles that have "venom" in the name at the orison raids last night, as well as a red and gold c54, those red loot boxes have all kinds of stuff in them!
A little tip, you can check the distance to a point you can select in the mobiglass map extremly simply, you just click on it, then on the top right of your map app the distance will be displayed. Bonus, if you leave your mobiglass and open it again, the 'destination' will still be here, so after clicking on it once, you just have to press f2 and look at the top right.
That's a very good tip!
Morphologis - "Grab some med pens.."
Me - "Where do I get cement pants?"
the hangar opening scene at 1:13 is amazing. they should jut have a cnimatic camera button that smartly gives you movie quality views in one click :D (of course you can always set your own camera favorites to the numpad too)
Awesome! Thanks Morphologis!
I found a yellow(?) box yesterday following your guide. Not sure what that's about, but it had more things in it than a red box.
1:16 You're the real MVP Morpho.
Like, subbed and shared. May the analytic gods forever shine their light upon you
Thanks for the great graduation gift! Been wondering about this.
Nice, I'm not one who will spend time running around looking for em and I don't enjoy wreck diving much either. Got sick of the Investigate find bodies missions, but if I happen upon one maybe now I'll give it a try.
I love star citizen's Exploration , Mining , Trading ... i bet i'll love salvaging ,bounty hunting and farming too
I've done boatloads of bunker missions and the amount of special skinned weapons is pretty low, and ive never seen a single special subscriber skin pistol. Probably the most common are multi-tools with 3 or 4 "rare" skins, and then A03 snipers with a few that weren't purchasable in game even when snipers were at shops before 3.17 Definitely gonna go check some of these out today =)
I realy would like it If they let the rare items realy be rare 🙂
Loving the channel!
Even though they're still in development, would you consider sharing your opinions on the Polaris, the Perseus and the Appollo please?
I still kinda think the hot and cold suits are switched, all that insulation on the heat suit would be perfect in a cold environment, and the sealed metal liquid cooled looking suit would work well in a hot one
I never noticed this, as I never use them. But your are very right. Now I won't unsee it. Dang you!
You would think that but actually its correct the way they have done it.
Great video this is why I subscribe to you my guy! ps : i love the architect review more of those
Baller, thanks for sharing that much work
Something I've noticed with the loot boxes is that once they have been opened, they won't fall through the ground most of the time.
I noticed if you are with a friend and he opens a red box, when you try to open it next it does not let you.
@@KC8DKT hmm, is this with the box being closed again by the other person?
@@Pyraclease I have no idea if he closed it or not, will have to test this.
I did this mission with finding missing person, was a lot of fun doing puzzles, just need a lot of time. Found the Wowblaster toy pistol which is actually the coolest thing I've found. Didn't see the Yubarev pistol
Yela, from ArcCorp Mining 157, take a heading 126.6, distance 42.0km, when you're on top of derelict, turn around and look at mining 157, it is in 306.6
This is cool, the wrecks look great! 👍
Just went to one of the locations only to find two other people. Guess you gave a lot of people an idea on what to do today lol
The derelict sites are working really well now on 3.17! I can finally enjoy those missions.
Maybe they can now move on to actually fixing the missing crew missions and all the other bugs that plague the game that have gone without much care for years :)
Liked and commented for the early screenshot info.
Great content, thanks Morph!
I thought so too, but i still love just blowing myself up and getting the big cargo box and then running a bunker or two or three :D
