I know a lot of people who have driven trucks - and now DON'T. I'd consider it a blessing and a guide to something different/better. I've only experienced two major vehicle incidents in my life - both of them led me to better and greater things. Super glad you're ok and eager for you to take your next steps to what comes next.
Dang bro... when I saw the post about the crash I was hoping it was an April fools joke. Why couldn't it have been... Thankfully you are still here for your family (and us) I used to work in a hospital and I moved a lot of people with AFIB amongst other heart issues. It can be a very scary thing especially when you just black out for who knows how long. Again thankfully you are still here, hopefully they will be able to diagnose you so that you can get back to work. Because I know that once you get a life changing event like that the only thing on your mind is: "What's wrong and how to fix" "Am I still able to support my family?" Good luck and I'll keep you in my thoughts my guy... (sorry for long message just love your content and I don't need you dying bro... be my 3rd youtube who has either passed or gotten something serious diagnosed)
As a result of the digging I’ve been doing to find a solution I learned there’s A-fib in my family’s medical history. But I still gotta go through all the tests
it sounds like what happens to me when I have a seizure where I slowly [it takes about a minute] lose control of all my limbs then I black out I'm glad you're okay enough to make this video
I don't remember my seizures or anything for about 5m before and after them. The fuzziness and stomach feeling sounds like what I've had with minor seizures.
7:48 damn bro you were born in ‘98? Jokes aside I’m glad you are okay because with you walking away from this we get more of your content. Glad to see you’re okay. I hope you undergo a speedy recovery
Goodness, glad you're okay Tom. Hopefully something can be worked out, worst feeling any car guy can go through is losing their ability to drive whether it be from fear, medical conditions or a combo of the two. Most importantly I'm glad you made it home to your family, I can only imagine what most of been going through your mind at the time. Rest well and hopefully you can work again or at least find something better in case you can't drive a rig again.
Glad you're okay and glad you didn't get blood on your hands man. It was all things considered a pretty good way to crash a truck. I hope you can get everything figured out soon man. Best of luck to you and the family
Yeah man it was super close, could have been so much worse. But now I can take some time and work on some stuff as well as get myself into better health.
Glad your ok, I have dealt with SVT and Inappropriate sinus tachycardia for the last few years that will be triggered at random times I’m athletic and only 22 these things can happen to anyone hope you get it figured out!
I'm sorry that you went through this. I hope your heart issues get figured out. There are sadly a lot of trucker deaths and driver deaths in general. Your company not caring is about right. Being found out to have seizures in my sleep I got fired instantly and can't work anywhere until they're fixed. Im happy you are with us today and I hope things will get better for you
it's crazy how little resources I have. They basically told me I can retain my current position in my company but am allowed to work elsewhere to make ends meet
@@TheRacingJoker I really wish the best for you. Stuff like this is really sketchy and sucks. You'll be able to power through it my man. Just don't give in to all the BS.
It sounds like a very surreal experience, Something that would probably make you feel really confused afterwards. I hope all goes well though, And like you said, at least you can spent some more time with your kids for a while. That's always a nice plus.
Surreal is the perfect word to describe it. When i learned that at one point i was going the wrong way down the interstate completely out of control I wasn't sure how to take it. It felt like I was learning about someone else's experience.
There are times where a genetic health issues doesn't manifest itself with symptoms. It can happen very suddenly. Anyway, I agree with you Tom. Take a good rest. Sending all my love to you and your family bro!
To diagnose and resolve my heart issues when I was a teen I had to do a long term holter monitor. Turns out I had SVT and it caused me to pass out multiple times. Had surgery and have been fine ever since. I'd go to a specialist and try to get to the root cause.
Damn glad ur safe and hope you figure a way out to keep your cdl. Hope your company sorts out some disability program my cousin worked for warner and hurt his back getting out of a truck they gave him some progam for about 4-6 months
@@TheRacingJoker good to hear about not loosing your cdl and all the best in figuring out your condition. and hopefully you can get back otr soon, or find something else to make ends meet. Will support the content no matter what so keep it up.
Those damn sticker things the doctors put on you. That may have been the worst part of spending time in the hospital. Hairy chest, they just slap them on over the hair. Connection isn't good, so they keep peeling and trying again. Eventually they bring out the super gaffter tape version and get it really stuck on there. I bled pulling them off. Why don't they just have a little trimmer and clear a spot for them?
I am by no means an expert and I don't mean to diagnose, but maybe this could be of help? This kind of sounds similar like a blood pressure drop that caused you to pass out. You mentioned at the start you felt weird in your stomach? My girlfriend recently had a similar experience (luckily not while driving) where she felt a pain / uneasy feeling in her stomach, followed by lightheadedness and tingling, and then eventually passing out. This was then later diagnosed in the hospital to food poisoning. Your experience sounded quite similar, but I guess the doctors would've already checked for this? You didn't have any stomach or bowel problems after the incident? But I'm glad to hear you are alright. This could have ended very differently indeed... You got lucky, that's for sure! Take it easy, enjoy some family time and I'm sure everything will be alright. Peace and love.

They expect you to clear for an EEG / EKG. I've had both and it's torture I'm pretty sure they get off to it
Look up a PET scan. Tape and needles are totally not medieval torture device based lol
I'm lucky that my hometown doctors at least use trimmers and shavers before they attach them as opposed to literally waxing me
Oh man Glad you are okay man
Me too bro, it was close
My first thought when I saw your post, was myocarditis. Maybe you could do a 24 hour EKG with a portable/wearable EKG monitor.
One of the things my doctor ordered is a monitor for me to wear
Oh sh.... i hope your ok bro. Stay safe glad you are okay❤

No bowel or blood pressure issues according to all the tests (of which there were many). Everything came back normal unfortunately
It’s the black dog lol
That sucks, hope your ok
Also what did your boss say about this situation?
Non preventable so it want hurt my career so long as I get a diagnosis and a treatment that can get me a release with no work restrictions
So God is a car guy... ... ...
He must be
It is pretty typical that passed out drivers survive crashes better
Only when you avoid head on crashing into the pillar supports of an overpass like me 🫠
