  • Do you see the bigger picture? Our Driveline Academy kids certainly do.
Every indoor Academy team training session includes some amount of strength & athletic development. Whether playing LTAD (Long Term Athletic Development) games with our younger players, or our younger HS age players here doing more conventional strength work, athletic development is a must if you're looking to maximize your baseball skills.
Simply put, elite baseball players cannot exist without an elite athletic foundation underneath their baseball skills.
The good news is that athleticism is a thing that can be developed. It takes time, consistency, intention and effort.
Our Academy teams don't function like most of the teams in youth baseball. We focus on arm care and athletic development to improve performance and health. When we are playing games, we don't put a plastic trophy above the health of any of our players.
We focus on long term development by the choices that we make with our schedule, spending more time on training and building skill than we do in competition.
We don't schedule kids to play more games than college or professional players, and our coaches understand that the long term goal is always more important than the short term one.
    That's seeing the bigger picture.
    Do you?
