Some of the music that was cool back in my high school days !! We're talking 45 years ago and I still enjoy listening to it today!!!! I was a head then and still am today!!!
Same! I’m 68 and still know all the lyrics. Still have my oversized suit ala David Byrne. Talking Heads was cool as shit back in the 80s. And still are today. You must see the movie!
Here is what I am doing. I really find this music a cure for depression. I take my cell phone - my iPhone has great sound. Lying on my bed I place the phone on my chest and put on the video. Don’t need earphones. Just the internal speakers. Dim the lights and go with the music. I am transported!! Just me and the flow of the song. My own little concert 😊
It's amazing isn't it. We are prehistoric creatures in the deepest levels of our brain. Before drugs, roller coasters, churches, sky diving, therapists, psychologists and cell phones there was only music to move our souls. It worked so well we never needed anything else.

@@PeggyMcPherson-uw4gz You're feeling nostalgia. I was in the 7th grade during Woodstock and watched it at Summer school. At 66 years old now I realize it's never coming back. I saw the Talking Heads in Gainesville, Florida at the University of Florida. The school would put on a free concert every Halloween for the students. I knew it was going to be a crazy but I just didn't how much debauchery would be everywhere. When I first walked in the field. Too bad DB has too big of an ego to give her a microphone

I can't believe how Tina Weymouth is underrated as a bass player. The bass line rates up there with "Jump Into the Fire".
In 2022 Rolling Stone ranked her number 29 of all time. Not so underrated.
When you say jump in the fire are you talking about the original original Metallica song with Dave mustaine because I would have to agree

I haven't seen the worst of it yet
I want to know that you'll tell me
I love to stay
Take me to the river, drop me in the water
Take me to the river, dip me in the water
Washing me down, washing me down
I don't know why you treat me so bad
Think of all the things we could have had
Love is an ocean that I can't forget
My sweet sixteen I would never regret
I want to know that you'll tell me
I love to stay
Take me to the river, drop me in the water
Push me in the river, dip me in the water
Washing me down, washing me
Hug me, squeeze me, love me, tease me
'Til I can't, 'til I can't, 'til I can't take no more of it
Take me to the water, drop me in the river
Push me in the water, drop me in the river
Washing me down, washing me down
I don't know why I love you like I do
All the troubles you put me through
Sixteen candles there on my wall
And here am I the biggest fool of them all

Take me to the river and drop me in the water
