I’m 42 and I first heard this song on the music video showing scenes of one of the Jeffrey Dahmer movies (“my friend dahmer” with actor Ross Lynch) and I immediately was like “holy shit !! Who are these guys?” I was thinking it was some indie band that hadn’t made mainstream (yet). I love me some oldies, but yeah I had no idea who they were. My ex husband is 11 years older, and he introduced me to a lot of music that I now love and we are always amazed at just how much a decade can change exponentially. I feel like an ancient mummy around my nieces and nephews that have never heard of a beeper and the cel phones I had at their age are now called burner phones which to me burner phones are the those being used in action movies by the bad guy 😂😂😂 It’s all perspective I guess. Oh yeah my point.. great song, great band, TIMELESS! And speaking of perspective, when we really stop to think about it 🫢🤔. Jeffrey Dahmer unintentionally contributed to society by leading some of us to such an awesome discovery. And yes adhd sucks 😂😂
First concert I ever ushered for Bill Graham was at the Fox Warfield. Pearl Harbor & The Explosions were the opening act for The Talking Heads. I worked the top of the third balcony and there were *two shows*. After clearing the house and seating everyone for the second show I was told I could go anywhere.... well... there was a bank of seats in the front row empty (because the speakers were right there) and I walked right up and sat. An usher tried to usher me away but when I showed my badge I got to stay for the whole second show! Let me say that this was definitely the best concert I've ever been to... and to get *paid* for it was just icing! The Talking Heads are without a doubt my favorite group... and being 10 feet away from them was amazing. I had never even heard of Pearl Harbor & The Explosions before but they definitely rocked it! Great group, great songs, great energy!
You didnt get it, song's about a psycho killer or someone who identifies as.. The dude keeps telling everybody to run away from him, because if he's triggered he couldnt handle himself and know it. So he prefers to send people away, and refers to some personnal experiences to justify he's a psycho and you should be afraid of him. But the fact is he doesnt know what a psycho is, and he's "probably" just a young men with emotional issues at this point.
