New Amsterdam is a good medical show that definitely a good blend of actual medicine and story telling with the characters

Well written but unreal. They would NEVER let a doctor related to the patient work on him/her.

i literally had a blood clot in my lung, they did not have to remove it surgically. they gave me heparin and warfarin intravenously and it dissolved the clot.
Not true, some towns have one doctor, who the f do you think does the work if its te patience family, you just gonna let him die? How stupid are people today?

I still can't forgive what they did to his wife and him and all the work he did to accept his cancer
with the clips being uploaded lately, it seems like either the show or this channel really wants to crap on that doctor. his wife died, his baby died(?), he got hit by a car and almost died, got cancer, and now this. he's like that one doctor on ER who lost a hand to a helicopter and then died by being crushed... by a helicopter.

This was such a wonderful show. Great characters and really good storyline.
I knew they were gonna get together there chemistry in the show shows it all
But then she moves away and therefore they break up :/
