The fact that you can buy those vapes at smoke shops all the way to gas stations and convenience stores really shows how you have no idea what those companies are putting in them if where you can get them isn’t even regulated

As an asthmatic who cant even handle strong smells let alone smoke or vape clouds without my lungs acting up or my airways closing.
Dumb people take advantage of their amazing lungs.
Even seeing all this proof and understanding what we're doing, we were built to self-destruct. I see what it's doing to my mother. My boyfriend's died when he was a kid because she couldn't quit. I guarantee you're self destructing in your own way because the people who have the all options in the world are taking them away from others day by day. We can't live on a single square foot without fighting another living being for what we call our own. Survival is war and Planet Earth is in hospice.
I stayed the hell away from vaping, I promised my mother I wouldn’t smoke and I’m keeping that promise.
I made the same promise to one of my older cousins, and I intend on keeping that promise

Overall smoking is more “healthy” than vaping, according to documentary in my high school health class water vapor in lungs is harder to exhale out than smoke

I'm happy that my folks made sure I didn't get on the trend when I was in school. It was the cool new thing and they knew I had friends that could get some jul pens if I wanted. They made sure that I knew that if it were the newest thing, that meant that my entire generation were basically guinea pigs for something that was simply an updated version of an unhealthy habit. They said it doesn't matter if you stick glitter or a battery on it, a bad habit is a bad habit.
This is a happy ending especially since this patient is so young. I once had a patient who had ?EVALI and had to be placed on ECMO and they didnt make it in the end. Dont do drugs kids.
I quit vaping 6 months ago, i smoked for 4 years and vaped for a further 3. When I started vaping, I felt less crappy than when i was smoking, but i still felt crappy. Now that ive quit, i feel so much better for it. Remember, if youre addicted to anything, you can quit. It just takes one opportunity, so as soon as you see it, seize it.
Thank god I don't drink smoke or do drugs..tried a cigarette in school turned green and never did it again..
I thaught vape pens were originally invented to help smokers quit smoking by first switching from smoking to vaping and then gradually quitting vaping so you don't have to go cold-turkey.?
That's if you get the nic free ones. Otherwise ppl are actually inhaling a lot of nicotine.
That was the initial intent. But then it got marketed as the hot new thing and guess who wanted in on that? Kids. With all the flavor options, celebrities and influencers touting it, and not enough research on long term effects (because it was only on the market for a few years at that point) so they thought it was safer, they got a new generation of kids addicted in a similar manner as to how the tobacco industry did it decades ago.

Kids at my high school would always vape in the bathrooms after the day ended, and between classes. I'll never understand why someone would willingly put those chemicals into their body. It terrifies me
I smoke cigarettes, which is terrible. I've been trying to cut back. But I've never tried vaping. Too many people I know have switched from cigarettes to vape, and now they smoke even more. Because it's easier, you can get away with it inside, it can taste better... I'll stick to the shame of bad breath and fingers until I can break the habit completely.
try Baoding balls. or Chinese medicine balls. Replace an unhealthy habit with a healthy one. If you rotate them in your left hand, it helps strengthen the heart.
I really hope your successful with quitting i know it's not easy and you may want to change your mind a million times,but in the end you'll be healthier and it will be worth it ❤

Ecigs are the best hands down to stop smoking.then you lower the nicotine until you can quit. The whole propaganda sponsored by Philip Morris in the past years was really bad.

Such as massaging pressure points, amazing for relieving withdrawal symptoms (headaches, irritability, pain associated with nerve regeneration). Even if it's a backdoor to helping us focus on the root of the problem, it'll help us get there. If our minds can destroy in one direction, they can create in the other.

I've never vaped and never plan to, but when the Mom said the kid was in 'all AP classes' I immediately understood why he resorted to vaping. Its a tough world these days in academia, not a lot of ways to console students who are struggling mentally, so they often end up doing this as a way to cope. Problem is it doesn't really help mentally. It's temporary. But I empathize with why.

My cousin only did one year of it and he finally quit when he went to the doctor and the doctor heard his lungs and said he already had irreversible damage. My other cousin still vapes but it’s horrible what it does😢
Doctors were asked if they believe prayer works. They responded that patients who had people praying for them, seemed to recovery more quickly.

"I haven't looked at a practice guideline since I was in intern" is a very arrogant thing to say. It means the physician thinks he's near perfect. Great doctors look things up all the time to make sure they are up to date. But this is television, so the heroes of the show are presented as gods.
Which is very problematic in my eyes.
Half of what you learn in med school is irrelevant in 5 years. Doctors need to stay up to date or they become dinosaurs

i mean people think that praying is going to go exactly how you pray but thats not always the case. If you pray for someone to be cured or healed then God can answer that by taking the person home with him. They arent sick anymore like you prayed for its just not the way you wanted but it is indeed what you needed.
Also when people thank God instead of the Dr, i mean i think you should tank both but some drs think that no it wasnt god it was me. But God acts through people its a parternship. So yes it was you, but it was also Him as well. So thank both parties involved.
There is no God, I think, at least not in the form you allude to. You are welcome to your beliefs. Praying to some people is a form of meditation, and is a way of trying to be self compassionate.

I have been vaping for 15 years now! My doctors say that my lungs are as healthy as a non smoker by now! I have asmatha and CDPD. I am OFF ALL medications for both illnesses now! I breathe much better! I don't even take my breathing treatments that I used to take 4 times a day! Vaping has SAVED MY LIFE! I was so sick before! I smoked ciggerettes a pack a day for 20 years before vaping. I make my own e-juice from scratch so I know what I am putting into my body! I never use those disposable vaping devices they sell at gas stations and such for fear of what they put into them. I buy a mod (battery device) and tank (what you put the e-juice in) and put my own juice in that I make from scratch. (and yes it has nicotine in it) ( I smoke 4mg nicotine) Just wanted to share my story cause its not ALL NEGITIVE aspects to vaping people!

At the time this show came out they really didn’t have that much research on what vaping can do to the 🫁. This is when vaping first became popular.
There literally wasn’t a whole lot research they could’ve done. Products were changing and they couldn’t test or approve them because they were so new.
I believe in New Amsterdam.

I'm on my 3rd loss in a year and understand why the language could hurt. But I think the point the show was making was to inspire hope, which a necessary to live life and fight diseases
