The way their life revolves around fish, and yet when they see a big one they’re always still so excited honestly brings so much joy to these videos🎣😁🤍
Its a disused dock, the fish have been in there for years now. It used to be full of flatties and whiting. The carp and koi came from Queens Gardens across the way, whilst it was being cleaned out.
That is so cool. I could spend ages there watching those fish. My kids and I always go to a certain Chinese restaurant because they have an AMAZING koi pond in their lobby. The food is terrible, the service is terrible, there are rarely other customers there, but seeing the fish is worth it in our opinion. 😊😊😊
Due in large part to your video about going to Japan to see koi, our family really took a liking to the fish. We just finished our first koi pond and got our first koi. One is a Chagoi we named Charlie in honor of your video. Thanks for opening our eyes to these great fish.
Cheers Carl and Alex (again), OMG what a CAPTIVATING video! Normally I don't watch videos with fish in them, unless someone's fishing them. But few videos that you two did I actually enjoyed. First being the "Swimming with the Fish". Now this one. Thanks for the extra info (why the water was Blue and so on). As for the fish, they were SOOO calm and surely seem well fed! ROFL "peek technology and innovation" hehe... I hear you. In our first Underwater Footage we had our GoPro just wrapped directly onto our poles line. Thus once under water the camera was spinning. BAD footage! Turned that one into photos. However since then we've got some NICE under water footage! Wonderful that you took this video underwater a bit as well. Lastly, I'd have to agree bit of a shock seeing Trout in a location like that. Stunning video! Hers & His Adventures in California Lea & Ken
Just wanted to let you know that thanks in part to your video about going to Japan to see koi, our family gained a deep appreciation for the fish. I just finished building my own koi pond. Today we got our first koi. One is a Chagoi which we named Charlie. We love them.
Thanks for visiting my home town of Hull. Those trout are enormous, often take my kids to feed them. There is also another couple of lakes in short walking distance that are stuffed with Carp too (Queens Gardens).
My home city, people never believed me about the trout!!! They are huge! Also the eels are something else. If only they would let us have a syndicate on there or something. Great vid lads
Great vid lads! Cool to see you somewhere I grew up in. Thought you'd be interested, "prinny quay" was actually built on what was old massive fishing and whaling docks that used to come right into the city center and a lot of that is now roads that out can see near the main entrance next to the Queen Victoria statue. I think they tried to do something a bit different with the space as it was at that time disused and blocked off dockland.
I can’t believe you guys were here, me and my partner live 5 minutes away and go all the time to feed them. We’re both so sad we didn’t bump into you guys we love your stuff
Wow! What Ana amazing idea for a shopping centre. Would be the one time I'd happily go shopping with my Mrs lol. She can go look at every clothing item on every rail whilst I'm outside checking the fish out lol
Nice to see somewhere local. I have lived in Hull for most my life and would have been great to come say hello had I known you were heading this way. Always fascinated by the fish in there but also a surprise to see trout.. I've personally only watched/seen carp in there. Great filming as always guys.
Cool video guys. We’re based in Hull and there’s tonnes of awesome fisheries around here. Next time you’re up this way give us a shout and we can show you around!
What a fascinating place! Can't believe it was economically viable to even build it over the marina to begin with you'd think they'd have filled it in first.
Hey Carl and Alex, I've been watching you for years now and there is a lake nearby called Willian Pond near Letchworth where you can throw in a ball ov bread and probably 60 minnows/roaches will come. The simple defination of "One a chuck."
Honolulu Hi. at the Alamoana Mall there’s koi ponds everywhere, inside the mall, outside the mall etc. some are an easy 15lbs. if not more, all sorts of colors. These fish have been there since the early 70’s that’s when I first observed them. When you visit there boys enjoy yourselves. ML&Aloha Your Boy Kekoa&Ohana.-🌴🤙🏽🌴🐟💨🐠💨
Hull Born & Bred i'm Passionate about & Love Carp and all fishing & i too have been marvelling at these fish admiring them for many years.. wishing i could properly fish it.. theres also a basin on victoria dock full of roach..some large rudd.. ive caught plenty of nice tench upto over 7lb night fishing and day many times as a kid/youngteen .. your dead right about the size of them in princes quay.. it's the bread they are greedy like dogs because they are always fed & 10fold in summer.. great job as always top fella's 🍀
It’s probably the best place to visit in hull, but there is a fishing museum being redone, should be done in a couple years, it has whale bones and things very interesting
This is awesome!! I live just the other side of the Humber and shop at princes quay fairly regularly. Who knew there were all of these cool fish. I’ll have to take my sons and a load of bread to feed them :)
Many years ago I used to feed them on my dinner break and when leaving the night clubs on a nights out before relocating. If you was to get access to fish them I’d recommend chicken poppers from crawshaws if it’s still there and they also like a kebab at night.
I live in hull when I am in the town I often pop to Tesco and get bread to feed them the grass carp are massive. The water is also very blue because they put a dye in the water to keep the alge down
I watch all your videos but the last thing I would have expected to see is my home town, Kingston upon Hull ☺️ another great video lads hope you enjoyed yourself and had a great day, I definitely need to get back sometime and check out Princess quay or prinny q as us locals say, tight lines and wet nets stay safe where ever you go 😊
Just started seriously watching your content, really enjoy your video's, I have bass fished all my life just started trying carp. Harder than i thought.
You guys should totally play fishing planet! It’s a really cool fishing game and it could be the sequel to when Alex played Sim pro fishing! Sorry if that name is wrong I forget lol. Anyway the game is pretty cool, and it’s way more of a simulator that the other one is. Having said that, catching fish is easier and more frequent. It’s really fun and you can customize everything but it is kind of a grind to get more lakes unlocked however, but I’m pretty sure you can just buy a pond pass. I have played the game for a year now and I think you guys would like it

Went there today is is so good take a loaf of bread walk round to see we’re they are then throw it in
Can I ask were that is in hull?
This is a shopping centre I often go to! The fish are really fat and not that majestic, sadly 😭

That's not something you hear everyday, an eel eating a pigeon, or a mall on a lake of big fish 😂 lovely fish
Pretty crazy!!
There was a video I’m sure it was taken on France’s river Syne Wels catfish were eating them when they came down to drink at the side of the river 🙂
I can’t believe you guys were here, me and my partner live 5 minutes away and go all the time to feed them. We’re both so sad we didn’t bump into you guys we love your stuff
