It is difficult to search for information not in your native language (because I write through a translator). If I buy HO+BC on Blender Market, what is the "lifetime" of the purchased version? A year, or for a lifetime, being updated in parallel with the current Blender? (I use the Steam version of Blender). Because that's how I look and it seems to me that these addons are still worth buying, and not wasting time in the vanilla version of the Blender. Tnx.

It wouldnt be added to hops as a bc counterpart due to being a BC thing. However as an option it isnt that popular or widely used. Alternatively Hops also has Purify under Q >> Settings >> Manage (alt click) which also removes unused cutters.
@@masterxeon1001 Well, Purify doesn't remove modifiers as Loose Cleanup does unfortunately. Manage could be a proper place for it I think. But as you said it isn't something very crucial. Thx for the answer!
Anyone else have the situation where if you try to cut an object with boxcutter that you have scaled previously it shrinks the object the moment you start the cut?
So... I was wondering, watching the duplicate objects smart apply, with the same geometry data... is it possible to make things like markers on the time line, to use as a recall to a modifier? I was wondering if it's actually possible to make the Fusion 360 Timeline in blender, I would be interested to buy/make if necessary, an addon like that, if it's possible. It's basically the bool scroll, but on a time line. Or, if it's possible to, let's say, when you make a bevel, on the geometry, connect that to mesh machine and stuff, so you are able to recall (and with mesh machine,get the older geometry, in case of a bevel) basically, an older version of the model you are working on, so you can for example, fix a problem you've encountered doing something else later, easily fixable recalling an edit you did, using the time line :). Thx for any response mate!
Using Fusion360 atm. The history is very useful, but I can live without it and sometimes get into trouble when I remove something that around body needs down the timeline. The "sketch" workflow imo would be very useful in Blender.
@@sqwert654 true, the sketches with the dimensions are really useful, but they still requires the timeline. I can live without the timeline now that I know how to fix things, but still, if I had to do a "big" Project, I would use fusion, cause it's more "reliable" and precise than blender.

Smart Apply Shift - Loose Cleanup - is there a place for this command in the menu (couldn't find any)? Besides the known Icon+shift.

either unparent the object from its unapplied scale parent or uncheck autoscale in the behavior sprocket.

that is a ponder for sure. But Blender just isnt a cad application so I worry about all the pinch points present with such a concept.

Do you see the Shift Smart Apply for slices eventually becoming an option to do automatically or just the default behavior?
prolly shift to avoid anything extra happening. Who knows what unforseen consequences this could have. So its delegated to shift until safe.
